President Trump has not made any statement after Ukraine launched an attack yesterday deep into Russia targeting long-range nuclear capable bombers. Russian President Vladimir Putin has also remained quiet throughout the day today. However, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy speaking from Vilnius, Lithuania, publicly bragged about the operation today.
According to Turkish officials (note silence from Russia & Ukraine), the previously scheduled meeting between Russian and Ukranian negotiators ended today after less than an hour. There are no details about what took place inside the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, just that once the meeting attendees were seated and gave initial remarks, the event dissolved. Both the Russian and Ukrainian teams left the building.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt appeared full of nervous energy as she spoke to journalists outside the White House, noting that President Trump was in meetings and discussions all day while taking phone calls.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have also remained silent.
Inside Russia the general sense is one of preparation. As I noted in my debrief from last year, the government of Russia has been preparing the Russian people for an expanded escalation of the conflict for quite some time. The Russian media are deliberately pointing to Ukraine -and only Ukraine- in their domestic reporting of the attacks. There is no mention within Russian media of EU, NATO or USA support for the events that took place Sunday; however, there were a few mentions of Great Britain as a likely assistant to the attacks.

Help me out here please. Ukraine is not in NATO. Why are we even having this discussion? If Europe wants a war let them go but I don’t understand why we would be drawn into it legally thru agreements? What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

Unknown how long it took them to plan the actual attacks. But the Uke’s media blitz following the attack must have taken weeks to put together.
As soon as the attack happened they started releasing videos of Uke military and Z planning the attacks, Uke generals selecting the targets, maps, details of how they did it, B-roll for the media, etc. It was quite the coordinated publicity campaign.
It is my suspicion that was Miss Lindsey’s purpose there, to coordinate the propaganda assault.

Trump and Putin are working on the Deal of the Century where American know-how, finance, and markets are let loose on Russia’s vast natural resources. Instead of Russia selling their resources ‘raw’, the US and Russia will partner to produce ‘value added’ products to Russia’s raw materials. This will create high paying jobs in Russia and Russia will become the world’s richest country per capita. The US and the world will benefit from new access to Russia’s resources. In the midst of Trump making peace so the deal can go through, Zelenskiy pulls this boner which is sure to destroy any reasons for Russia to negotiate. Especially when the Russians can achieve their goals militarily. Zelenskiy’s behavior may give Trump the cover with the Deep State to drop the Ukraine as a client. If that happens, Trump is unentangled from Europe and the Ukraine and the Deal of the Century can go through.
He would like to think that this “boner” will destroy negotiations. He clearly calculates that, if this war goes on forever, so will he. But, it is telling that, in response, the opposing party said nothing.

Only pointing to Ukraine from Russian media, all while Zelensky runs his mouth and Putin (and Trump) keeps quiet are what I would call clues.
As a kid who grew up in Section 8 neighborhoods, only cowards feared the boisterous while the smart ones paid attention to the quiet guys. The quiet guys kicked ass and took names; the boisterous ones were owned.
