Interesting series of events converging. According to multiple media outlets, a delegation from the U.S, Europe and Ukraine are scheduled to meet again in London tomorrow for further discussions of the peace proposal.
President Trump said Monday they had “very good meetings” about Ukraine and Russia recently as Trump was likely debriefed from the meeting that Secretary Rubio and Envoy Steve Witkoff held in Paris, France with Emmanuel Macron, Ukraine, EU and U.K officials. However, this was the same Paris meeting that preceded Secretary Rubio saying if progress was not made quickly, the USA would exit their role in negotiating a peace deal.
President Trump and Secretary Rubio are putting pressure on Ukraine, EU, U.K as well as the CIA background players to get to a place of earnest peace discussion, by threatening to pull back from their effort and likely allowing Russian President Putin a lot of implied latitude to increase hostile action.
The belligerent Ukraine officials (harsh Nazi tones on display) feel emboldened to keep fighting with enhanced funding and support from the EU, U.K, NATO and CIA operatives embedded with Ukraine forces. As an ancillary matter, the potential for Trump to pull back stands as a visible motive for the USA Deep State to keep attacking Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
At a certain point President Trump is going to have to make a decision on further support. If Trump exits the proxy war, that’s when the real internal battle with the CIA will likely surface. This is a very interesting dynamic to keep watching as CIA Director John Ratcliffe appears to be a bystander, incapable of stopping the independent elements of the CIA from operating their own agenda.
According to the Moscow Times, “Putin aide Yuri Ushakov told Russian media on Tuesday that Witkoff will visit Russia later this week, though he did not specify what day he would arrive, nor did he say whether the Trump envoy would meet with Putin.” If Witkoff is in London on Wednesday, that would put him traveling to Russia Thursday or Friday.
Again, a simple reminder. It appears Steve Witkoff is the traveling ears and voice of President Trump back and forth to Moscow, which -as we identified for quite a while- is the best way to handle the discussions. Normal diplomatic lines of contact between President Trump and Vladimir Putin would be risky given the oppositional nature of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The emissary/envoy approach removes the IC influence and control agents from the issue.
On the ‘ceasefire’ table is still the subject of European countries being the peacekeepers on the demilitarized zone between Ukraine and Russian forces. France and the U.K want assurances that U.S. troops would protect the “coalition of the willing” if the EU puts peacekeeping boots on the ground in Ukraine.
There is a lot of contradictory narrative engineering very visible in western media about the ongoing dynamic [SEE HERE] and [SEE HERE]. I would estimate that well over half the information inside those articles is fabricated, intelligence-manipulated information control; ie. totally fake news.
Rubio (?) and Witkoff will be in London tomorrow. From there, Witkoff will likely return to Moscow to debrief Putin on the talks and enhance with President Trump’s advice on status. Then President Trump and President Zelenskyy will cross paths again on Saturday at the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome.
As an ancillary note, it does seem a little obvious that Nat Sec Advisor Mike Waltz has been completely removed from the negotiating team, instead being dispatched to the job of just cleaning up and reformatting the National Security Council.

My granddaughter is in kindergarten this year. I was so concerned about how she would handle riding the bus. The first weekend of the school year she came to stay at grandma’s and all she could talk about was Bus 41 and her bus driver. Later in the school year Miss J was absent from the bus-she had broken her foot. My granddaughter was so happy when she came back!
I’m a retired teacher and I know how important it is for a child’s first experience with school to be a positive, happy one. Here’s to all the wonderful bus drivers making sure our grandchildren get to school happy, safe and sound! This grateful grandma thanks you from the bottom of my heart.
When our bus driver, who drove us to school, field trips, and road trips to camp, retired, I was in 7th grade. There were other drivers but Frank was everyone’s favorite.
The staff called us to assembly to surptise Frank with a farewell song on his last day.
He had no idea when he entered the auditorium and we all stood and sang “We love you Frank, oh yes we do, We love you Frank, oh yes we do, We love you Frank, We do! Oh Frank , we love you. He cried.
My last day was quite emotional as well. I kept a diary of my interactions with the “kids on the bus” and sent it to family every week or so. They loved it and couldn’t wait for the next edition.
It was my pleasure. And thank you for noticing. On my bus we celebrated birthdays, I gave out lollipops for good behavior, we sang and had fun. The kids loved their bus driver. The tootsie roll pops were such a hit that some of the teachers started buying them and awarding them for good behavior also.
That is a great story and so true. The school bus is the first time a lot of kids are on their own. They have to learn how to deal with other kids older than themselves who may not treat them very well. I used to see mothers cry when their baby stepped on the bus the first day of school because they were saying goodbye to their childhood and putting them in the hands of a stranger and the school system. Then when all went well and their baby succeeded and even had fun on the bus they were thrilled. I used to get gift cards at Xmas and the end of the school year. But some of the gifts I got from the “kids on the bus” were really special and I still have them. My favorite was a handmade card from a 3rd grade girl that said “worlds best school bus driver.”

The kids were great, only a few cause the problems. I learned to never discipline the entire bus, only the kids who caused the problem and tried to do it away from the other kids. Regitiger is right, every day say good morning with a smile and the kids name, it goes a long way. I loved those kids!

There are tens of thousands of battle-hardened Ukrainian soldiers. What they need are good defensive weapons that Ukraine can’t make itself. And most of all, Ukraine needs peace. A long-term deal might be easier to get than a 30-day ceasefire as a long-term deal would satisfy Russian needs while a 30-day ceasefire would leave Russia at risk. The Russian military-industrial complex cannot hope to match what the US MIC could.
The soldiers of the EU may be good people in general, but they are probably not drone warfare age ready for combat. I hope Hegseth is making our military drone and missile warfare ready.

Sundance implies that the CIA is only nominally under the control of the executive branch and the elected POTUS, and I think that is correct. My question is, since we know that, in addition to the black budget, the CIA raises its own money from its own industries and business, how much funding will still go to Ukraine even after Trump cuts all funding and aid?
Catherine Austin Fitts estimates that there is not only a black budget but a black parallel economy worth several trillion dollars per year. It seems plausible that the CIA can going on funding this war for years, maybe until the end of the Trump administration.

IMO Trump put too much faith into Kellogg’s plan the Russians don’t want to hear about. Freezing the conflict Korea style isn’t going to work. There will be no peace settlement soon. Any western troops in Ukraine is a red line for Russia. There hasn’t been near enough losing for Ukraine to agree to what peace will take. Demands on Ukraine at this meeting will be much more than Ukraine can politically accept at this point. This is just formalities before we walk away. Trump is interested in normalizing relations with Russia so Ukraine needs to go away.

I am hoping that the US withdraws completely from any support of Ukraine and leaves the field to Russia to solve. We don’t need to throw any more good money after the bad and wasteful money we have spent so far.
The only hope of a lasting peace is the complete and unconditional surrender of Ukraine.
Russia has no reason to accept any NATO “peacekeeping” forces on the territory of Ukraine. Ukraine showed that they cannot be trusted with any type of ceasefire – both on the energy infrastructure deal that they violated daily for the entire month or the Easter ceasefire that they violated with nearly 5000 incidents, including an attempt to invade Russian territory in Belgorod. The EU cannot be trusted to keep any type of peace because of their intelligence services, their multinational corporations that want Odessa (France), arms production (Germany Rheinmetall), and oil/gas, agriculture, and prior subsoil agreements (UK). The US IC cannot be trusted to stop their support for the neo-Nazi elements in Ukraine’s military and government.
Even with an unconditional surrender, Ukraine poses a problem for Europe and the US with their huge population of trained military, their neocon support, and the amount of weapons floating around. I can easily see the rise of Ukrainian terrorists, intent on punishing their former allies.

I am beginning to suspect that we have all been laboring under a false impression of what Ukraine is. We think of it as an actual country run by a government as we think of governments. In reality, Ukraine may be more similar to a pirate island from the past, with various pirate regiments, organized crime groups, and criminal money laundering groups operating relatively independently of each other, but all with the common interest in maintaining the status quo in order to continue to operate their individual criminal enterprises. As far as the EU is concerned, it’s sort of like the English-sanctioned pirates raiding the Spanish galleons loaded with silver. Each EU member has their own fingers in the pie and is making big money off of some part of the crime games.
If this is the case, simply holding a new presidential election to elect a new President Pirate will solve nothing. In addition, if this is the case, how in the world do you go about cleaning out the corruption?
