Retired Magistrate here: Don’t be too shocked; the Supreme Court’s decision to intern Japanese citizens and take all their property, without due process, has never been officially overturned. There have been cases where the Court expressed its disapproval, but it has never been overturned.
So, in this case we have non citizens who are here illegally given the rights that the Japanese citizens should have been given in World War II.
The Supreme Court does have a history of ignoring the Constitution when it serves the Court’s purpose; whatever that purpose might be.

If the courts fail, the second-to-last resort is the States.

Retired Magistrate here: Naturalized Japanese Americans, Japanese immigrants and other people of Japanese descent were sent to the internment camps all without individual review or due process. This was done by Executive Order 9066 signed by FDR on February 19, 1942. Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese on December 7, 1941 so this Order was issued shortly after Pearl Harbor was bombed.
