When the Constitution was ratified our borders were open, everyone could enter. Everyone legally in the Country is protected by the Constitution. Non-citizens do not have all the Rights and protections citizens do, but they do have some. This is why person, persons, people are used in the Constitution instead of citizen.

In my humble opinion, congresspersons who believe the constitution applies to those who unlawfully enter the country should be removed from office.

This man has lost whatever mind he had, which wasn’t much. The real question should be “Please explain to American citizens why ANY person from another country has a Constitutional right to anything American.” He needs to be shut down immediately. Enough is enough of this. To think this man is a member of our Congress and is insisting the entire world has the same rights as an American citizen in America is total rubbish and he should not be permitted to keep saying this.
