This is an excellent example of what Attorney General Pam Bondi should be focused on instead of her appearances on Fox News.
The Federal Housing and Finance Agency has released a public statement highlighting an internal review and investigation of conduct within Fannie Mae that has resulted in the termination of over 100 employees for “unethical conduct” including the “facilitation of fraud.”
If the FHMA is finding intentional fraud within the housing loan offices, those federal employees should be arrested and legally prosecuted for their conduct. It is not enough to just fire people, there has to be legal accountability. These are the government regulators for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Can not afford to bring suit. An attorney could do it and win for just filing fees. A regular Joe could do it, but they are unlikely to win, because unless it is a straightforward case judges do not like dealing with amateurs.

A large majority of veterans in the past 20 years is getting it…anywhere from being considered 50%-100% disabled but still able to work other physically demanding jobs. this is one of those buried, un-talked about giveaway programs flying way under the radar. I’ve been okay with it since every other group in the US is getting theirs but if we truly want fiscal reform, this grift has got to end. It will be very difficult to do, I suspect because, well, veterans.

15+ year veteran here, that just just now received disability (shoulder finally went that the Army used up) 2 years ago. Also used VA loan 3 years ago, my origination fee was refunded after I received my initial disability rating of 30% (now up to 70% you cannot believe how much paperwork and Dr. visits it takes if you wait until you are many years retired). But I can assure you I pay a mortgage with interest and everything (I caught it at 4.5% and consider it a blessing.

I think they were Fannie Mae employees, not FHFA (FHFA was created during the mortgage crisis when Fannie and Freddie were placed in receivership). AFAIK Fannie and Freddie were privatized in 1989 and their employees are not civil service.

I think the list of people that could be confirmed in this position was limited. NO firebrands allowed. So they chose a mouth piece who could answer questions, knew the jargon, and would speak the company line while the next layer runs the agency.
NO WORK was previously done on anything we want to see happen that work has to be assigned wait for results and then reassign until the right team of existing grunts are on the job and you send the rest out to look for pick pockets.

Just a reminder firing requires a lower standard of proof then arrest. Firing is a internal action. Arrest is an external action and requires proof. Typically you fire then you prosecute.

After the fire is extinguished, a bond hearing is held, to refinance said complex for Low Income Housing
Tax Credits. The amount listed seems absurdly high. A little digging reveals that the sought amount
for the re fi is around 3 times what the complex was sold for prior. To arrive at that figure, presumably
someone has to massively over evaluate said property’s worth.
So, presumably we have appraisal fraud in the equation. But arson and destruction of public records
could be thrown in for good measure.
Forever ago I used to notice what properties had caught on fire. Just to see if the pattern repeated, in
the steps outlined above. I’ll just leave the number at “numerous”.

‘Kash Patel promotes an FBI agent who called J6 patriots and moms at school board meetings ‘terrorists.’
“Guys, I think we’ve been played. It all blew up the other day, when Adam Goldman and Alan Feuer at The New York Times reported that FBI director Kash Patel had promoted Steven J. Jensen to be the Washington field office’s assistant director.”
“Now, if you weren’t one of the many Americans who took a peaceful, but unauthorized tour of the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, or participated in the rally outside, and you therefore weren’t promptly arrested and held with no sense of habeas corpus, then you probably don’t know who Jensen is—so here’s a little context.
