National Security Advisor Mike Waltz appears on Fox News with Laura Ingraham to discuss the exploding controversy around a left-wing journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg, being included on a Signal chat with members of President Trump’s cabinet.
According to Mike Waltz the name of a contact was mis-attributed to the telephone number of Jeffrey Goldberg. Waltz thought someone else (¹he will not say who) was in the chat group, but it was actually Goldberg. Waltz says his team and Elon Musk’s technical team are working through an investigative process to discover how that happened.
As I repeated earlier, the most likely origination of the mis-attribution is the intelligence community, specifically the CIA. The entire fiasco originates as an operation targeting the Trump administration. Mike Waltz says he is not a conspiracy theorist, but indicates he too thinks something like this is quite possible. Let me summarize for those new to these performances: (1) The CIA tech team organized the Signal App operation (directory manipulation). That’s how Goldberg got in. (2) Jeffrey Goldberg held the story until the day before the scheduled SSCI hearing. (3) The SSCI uses the hearing to attack the Trump officials at the top of the critical silos.
Why? The CIA group doesn’t like the Trump Ukraine and Trump Russia policy.

It has to do with using the apostrophe or set of quotation marks in your username. They act as a “delimiter”. A delimiter serves as a data and code boundary when being read by a program. Our software reads it as stop sign.

I believe your problem may stem from using your “saved” name, single click the name box … it should then show you what it has saved.
If you find your current name there with the offending “” ….. use the X to delete that name.
Type in a new username without any of the special symbols that drive users into the ditch of moderation, your first change to user name with your Email WILL go to moderation to be approved …. then sailing will be smooth for future postings.

Someone commented in the thread that you might not be aware of how to change your user name. I can tell you from experience of typing errors on my Kindle that you can just type your name without the quotes in the user name field. After that, both names (with and without quotes) will show, so just click the name without quotes when you post.

Did Goldberg install Signal and enter someone else’s name? That would be one way to make his phone number be incorrectly associated to an authorized person.
This could have been a deliberate act of deception by Goldberg.
That would do it. Good thinking.
It would have most likely been a bulk upload of the contacts file for the Signal app when the phones were distributed to each of the participants. And that would have been done at different times, as they were confirmed. So if that’s the case, one of the smoking guns for Musk’s team is going to be a history review of all the other contact groups setup on each of the group’s phones, and how many groups was Goldberg a.k.a. Rubio, “invited into” prior to this particular group. One would imagine. All speculation, but the contacts file uploaded on initial installation of Signal is the most likely source. Unless the CIA manipulated the contacts file just before this group went online using Vault 7. Which would be an even bigger problem for whoever in CIA did it, if it turns out that’s what happened.

I doubt we would ever know, but I am wondering if this was the first group chat Rubio was included on.
Given the various actions of the administration since January 20th, both foreign and domestic, one would think if they were monitoring all Signal usage by everyone in the administration that the Deep State would have gotten something far more juicy to attack the administration on.
On the other hand, since Rubio is only operating in certain lanes and others are handling different foreign policy lanes, it’s possible he was never included on prior Signal chats if there were any. It’s also possible Signal was never used prior to the discussion on Yemen.
Was Rubio involved in other chats? I am sure they are reviewing all usage of the app since January 20th. Is he being set up to be a patsy? Did Rubio ever use it with just one or two other people? If so, one would think he would find it strange to use it, but not get replies if content meant for him were redirected to Goldberg.

This is why they make polygraph machines. They will have the complete provenance of the app, its installation, the contact lists, and everyone who touched all of them.
