National Security Advisor Mike Waltz appears on Fox News with Laura Ingraham to discuss the exploding controversy around a left-wing journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg, being included on a Signal chat with members of President Trump’s cabinet.
According to Mike Waltz the name of a contact was mis-attributed to the telephone number of Jeffrey Goldberg. Waltz thought someone else (¹he will not say who) was in the chat group, but it was actually Goldberg. Waltz says his team and Elon Musk’s technical team are working through an investigative process to discover how that happened.
As I repeated earlier, the most likely origination of the mis-attribution is the intelligence community, specifically the CIA. The entire fiasco originates as an operation targeting the Trump administration. Mike Waltz says he is not a conspiracy theorist, but indicates he too thinks something like this is quite possible. Let me summarize for those new to these performances: (1) The CIA tech team organized the Signal App operation (directory manipulation). That’s how Goldberg got in. (2) Jeffrey Goldberg held the story until the day before the scheduled SSCI hearing. (3) The SSCI uses the hearing to attack the Trump officials at the top of the critical silos.
Why? The CIA group doesn’t like the Trump Ukraine and Trump Russia policy.

Why is this not considered a “leaked” intelligence chat? The reporter who “leaked” the chat KNEW that he was not meant to be on the chat thread…so why did he not alert the distribution group that he was obviously an outsider… the minute he realized it?? That would have been the right thing to do. The way I see it is that Goldberg is the one who potentially put the U.S. at risk. He KNEW he was mistakenly on the chat, continued receiving info and then published the chat for his own selfish gain and without regard to the potential harm. (I’m sure we’ve all been the recipient of an incorrect chat and immediately let the sender know…js). Question: Can this chat now be classified so that nothing else can be published without repercussions?
“The President’s Cabinet” does not actually use civilian-grade “chat” applications. There will be no “mistakes” adding someone to the conversation who is not fully authorized and expected to be there. That simply will never occur. There’s a very large group of people whose only job is to ensure that these critical staff members can communicate with absolute security, anywhere and anytime they may be, and that the participants don’t have to worry about any technical details.
There will have been no actually-classified information revealed on that “chat.” But presumably neither the reporter nor The Atlantic fully considered whether any aspect of this whole thing “seemed ‘odd.'”

Marco not saying anything totally makes sense. The operatives edited Marco’s contact to dove tail Goldberg so he would receive. There should be a microphone or statement from Marco stating factually that he did not receive any correspondence on the signal app messaging – however, he may be covering for his CIA operatives and thus we will never hear anything from him.
Marco Rubio is ideologically aligned with Waltz and against J.D. Vance and MAGA. Likely he never commented because he knew was Waltz’s op to get rid of Hegseth, or Vance or one of the others.

Magically the lawsuit filed against Team Trump for allegedly violating the Presidential Records Act is assigned to Judge Boasberg.
This case should be good for at least a year of smearing the administration, harassing the defendants, feeding the opposition’s lies and hate speech, and, most importantly, impairing the progress of the MAGA agenda via countless Boasberg rulings, together with plaintiffs’ and Dem politicos’ demands for hearings, depositions, etc.

Without timely and aggressive SCOTUS intervention, which appears very unlikely since Roberts embraced letting the full appeals process run its course in cases involving presidential authority, the DS will continue its extraordinary, delaying attacks upon the Trump agenda.
There is a better solution. Speaker Johnson must defund the DC Circuit Court and move forward to completely dissolve the DC Federal District Court et Al.

There’s a reason Sundance predicted he would be the first high-level appointee in Trump’s second term to leave the administration. Waltz is not MAGA; he’s GOPe. He’s a Neo-con, pro war, pro MIC. Most likely, it was Waltz’s deputy, Alex Wong, who created the group chat and accidentally added Goldberg instead of Jamieson Greer (JG) It was just a heads-up chat group for coordination among deputies and staff from different branches of Intel—hard to believe anything sensitive would be shared. But, of course, you have that hoax propagandist Goldberg spinning it.

Loomer supposedly found out that this was a staffer that had left wing connections, and worked with left wing groups or the Bushes before being hired by Waltz or another high level member.
Why is the Trump team allowing folks below Trump’s Cabinet members and other high ranking officials, to be hired with such weak vetting? Any Treeper or Doge employee would be more loyal as a staffer than those folks. WTH?
