I have it on good authority that Flynn and Powell are not associated any longer. He may have a bigger role in her reputation’s downfall than what we can see.
Well, she did jump the gun with her kraken commentary and ended up unable to bring the receipts. That can be forgiven on a smaller stage but on the national stage of the greatest country in the world, not so much.
My impression is lighthizer is a heavy weight intellectual and a gentleman who achieved great accomplishments in trade policy during trumps first term.
In contrast My ignorant naive impression is that lutnick is a super successful ambitious important powerful businessman who made big bucks building a prestigious Wall Street firm doing deals and raised money for trump campaign.
So it appears to me like lutnick elbowed his way into the the cabinet appointment now but my naive impression is that lutnick could possibly learn a thing or two from lighthizer about economics and trade policy if he will listen

A lot of the election fraud is the responsibility of the 50 states. Trump addressed what he could with the GOP system, but he can’t fix the states, which run the elections and the counties which maintain the voter rolls.
Your 95% figure is WAY OFF, not sure its been 95% ever….you can go back to Goldwater, over 60+ years ago, and see there was a significant % of the population that were waking up,..and Buchanan, Perot, Reagan, leading up to Tea Party and then President Trump.

I think the vast majority have woken up to the duplicity of government and the Democrats, thus, Trump’s massive win against all odds and frauds. But, there are degrees of waking up. People have awakened to different pieces of the corruption, different amounts of the corruption, but most are still in the dark about how the economy really works and the power behind the corruption. Some see the Rothschilds but not the SES, some see the Fed but not the City of London, some see the King Charles III but not the Crown corporation. But, I never donated and was only political enough to get my elderly father to a rally, where Reagan shook his hand. I was working and establishing my career too. I had little time for in depth study/reading.
I had two grandfathers who impressed upon me the value of silver and gold from an early age. I had an economics professor, who still taught the value of the gold standard in 1972/1973 at a junior college.
Most working people today do not have the time to ferret out the golden nuggets the internet has provided. Now, I know what SES means to government employment and the influence of the Crown and the City of London on the US politics, economy, etc. And, I keep uncovering more that Americans were never supposed to know.
The immense fraud in SS and other government programs has been an eyeopener. The lop sided trade agreements and tariffs this country has had with all of Europe and many, many other countries has been another.
There is also a lot of flak and false messaging and rabbit trails I have found in my search. It takes an enormous amount of time to filter this. And, there is still a lot of stuff that I miss for which I am grateful to Sundance. I totally would have missed the DeSantis deceptions without his guidance. Many other things as well. Also, many posters have improved my understanding with their links and comments.
I am happy to live to see Trump turn the land I love around. The one my ancestors built on the rock of freedom. As a retiree. I have time to pursue this information.

LOL, I literally just finished watching this on TCN and came to check out the Treehouse before turning in. I wish everyone who is freaking out over tariffs would take the time to listen to this interview. Lighthizer has the ability to frame Trump’s economic plan so that just about anyone can understand. The trade deficit is the result of offshoring manufacturing and tariffs will serve to bring it back and restore a robust middle class. This is fundamental to MAGA along with collapsing the bureaucracy and neutralizing the fourth branch. If only we had a media that reported the truth instead of fear mongering and propagandizing, people would calm down and get behind this.

I was a manufacturing guy and saw first hand the destruction of the country. A country cannot be great without great manufacturing. To think you can innovate without manufacturing is nonsense. As a side note to think these MultiBillion dollar companies can innovate is nuts also. They are so big they have no feel for their marketplace or customers. Every market sector needs to have all their companies downsized……NO Too Big To Fail companies. We do not need big anything.
Manufacturing teaches you about the product you make and makes you understand finding the root cause of problems. You cannot pussyfoot around problems. You either solve them or they eat you alive. Manufacturing makes you understand quality. It is cheaper to do it right the first time. Manufacturers do things. I give thanks to God that this journey of mine included being a manufacturer.
Being a manufacturer is one of the reasons I was drawn to the Treehouse. Sundance is a manufacturer at heart. You can tell the manufacturers on a plane, they have the furrowed brows dealing with problems. In manufacturing there are always problems. The little ones might be just the tip of the iceberg.
Sundance is our manufacturer. We have those clouds over us with the eye of Sauron. Sundance is always dealing with those huge problems that may seem unsolvable. Same here, so I agree 100%. I remember well in the early 1980s, working as a machinist in Silicone Valley, and every one who was paying any attention to offshoring of production was deeply concerned.
And here we are really feeling the effects of those policies. It is both saddening and angering at once.
I was a jack of all trades, Master of some, and I see a division between those who have worked at a company with a sign showing the # of days since the last work related accident, and those that have NEVER, and probably WOULD never work at such a job.
Similar to what you say, it creates a certain mind sense, an outlook and a comraderie that those who’s only danger is from paper cuts can never appreciate.

My husband and I made the mistake by choosing Cal-Pers for our long/term care insurance. This was back in the ‘80’s. All was fine until we started getting rate increases each year.
It kept getting higher and higher. Eventually, the premiums were out of sight. They were sued and lost $$$$$.
They sent us an offer. We could cancel our policy and receive back 80% of the amount we paid in premiums or risk them going bankrupt and getting nothing. We played it safe and chose the first option.
The average American service, manufacturing or assembly worker is unmotivated, overweight, uneducated, and lazy. They have been schooled and learned what to know instead of how to know. Working with your hands is beneath you. You passed every class by the average teachers who don’t like math, or boys acting like young men. They are strong on feelings and social sciences. This why over 60% of college students are women. We need higher standards for teachers.
Our county school is ranked 6th in the state; however, the Reading Proficiency Level is 52% and Math Level is 49%. We are so proud of our school. We also built a new Junior High for $35+ million. I asked the Superintendent how many students are in the pipeline, and he said I have no idea.
As a country we need a big dose of reality. How many of our overweight workforce go on disability? How many can’t get jobs because of drug testing.
Future workers must learn to do, not what to get out of.
Almost 20 years in nuclear power plant construction and then operations. Wrote systems for the blue collar men who maintained the plant while satisfying the NRC’s strict guidelines. Heavy random drug testing and working “inside the wire” where everything was patrolled by arm guards.

Curious why he isn’t back this term
The growing divide between rich, middle class and poor is stark. The future looks bleak for all but the rich. Most college graduates I know are becoming quite wealthy and live lives of great consumerism, travel to foreign lands, new homes, multiple homes, multiple vehicles and the best health care. Lighthizer is right on the money.
Excellent, straight forward, and educational interview. Importantly, I would add that it’s an honest view of current economic times and logical ways of helping our country return to rational fiscal policies.
Robert Lighthizer’s strongest point for me was his describing not so much how those in the NAFTA era, nascent globalists, destroyed manufacuring and jobs in this country, rather what effects were precipitated from that knife plunged into the back of our society, the natural results of having done so we can all too easily see today.
Making redundant millions who were breadwinners, who had famlies and obligations, who were suddenly without means to support them, who were forced to rely on daddy government, and who no doubt felt their self worth as providers plummet. The slow acting poison that has affected generations which followed.
In truth it was Lyndon Baines Johnson and his Great Society which started the ball rolling, his malicious intent to undermine then dismantle the family as the solid moral building block of our nation’s society. Those who followed with their destruction of well paid manufacturing jobs sped the process along.
President Trump has hit the ground running and hasn’t stopped to breathe. The reincarnation of our America as she used to be as a strong, self sufficient manufacturing power house is number one on his agenda. So far, so good.
I remember an interview he sat for when he was much younger (Oprah IIRC). When asked if he would run for president, his answer was at first “No.” But then he added that if things got so bad and he could see no one else who could fix things, he might.
So as has happened, God has aligned the stars so that the paths of master builder President Trump, Robert Lighthizer, Kevin Hassett, Howard Lutnik, Peter Navarro (first term), and so many others have crossed at just the point when America has need of them, their skills, and their wisdom the most.
If I really deep think of where we are at thIs moment and how we have arrived in this way, I am filled with confidence that America will rise from the ashes she has been reduced to by those who have done so much to cripple then extinguish her.

Lighthizer says he doesn’t think it was intentional, but the simultaneous destruction of our Public Education system, once the envy of the World, and the corruption of every institution in our society, belies the notion that all that PDJT’s team are now trying to correct, is the result of “unintended consequences” IMHO.
