We both reflected on the Great History of our Nations, and the fact that we fought so successfully together in World War II, remembering, that Russia lost tens of millions of people, and we, likewise, lost so many!
We each talked about the strengths of our respective Nations, and the great benefit that we will someday have in working together. But first, as we both agreed, we want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the War with Russia/Ukraine. President Putin even used my very strong Campaign motto of, “COMMON SENSE.” We both believe very strongly in it. We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s Nations.”
“We have also agreed to have our respective teams start negotiations immediately, and we will begin by calling President Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, to inform him of the conversation, something which I will be doing right now. I just spoke to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine. The conversation went very well. He, like President Putin, wants to make PEACE. We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the War, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation. I am hopeful that the results of that meeting will be positive. It is time to stop this ridiculous War, where there has been massive, and totally unnecessary, DEATH and DESTRUCTION. The world is safer today because this conversation happened.

I have to research Russia’s relationship with China. I can’t imagine that Putin gets along very well with Xi and I doubt that China would want to have any sort of equal partnership with Russia, China would need to be the dominant partner. Anyone know?
China is an adjacent country. The two have had strong relationships for centuries.
Sorry, but this is inaccurate. Relations between China and the Soviet Union all but collapsed in 1962-65. During this period, the Soviets positioned roughly half of the KGB border guards on the Sino-Soviet border, and the regular army moved 12 full divisions to the border as well. To put this in context, by late 1965 the Soviets had as many divisions on the line in China as they had facing NATO to the west.
The occasional rapprochement between Peking and Moscow has largely resulted from the gross ineptitude of America’s foreign policy establishment. First came Vietnam, and then we spent an entire generation from Nixon to Clinton building up China and its pretensions initially to offset Soviet power, and then the Russian boogie man. Nowadays, our prized collection of idiots along the Potomac have inspired and reinforced Sino-Russian relations by taking it beyond the strategic realm to the economic. The current rapprochement is very dangerous for us because it is mutually beneficial to both China and Russia. It is going to be extremely difficult in the short and middle term, if not impossible, to drive a wedge between them because both see us as politically unstable and therefore strategically unpredictable.
If our strategic planners have calculated that we are going to lose the western Pacific, our sudden fascination with Greenland and the Arctic begins to make more sense.
At present, Russia is making a bundle selling raw materials to their Chinese neighbor, but historically the relationship between the 2 states has always been tense. Even when it was the Soviet Union, the two powers got along in name only.
What I’m waiting for is DJT once again to put North Korea on the front burner. The North Koreans are doing much of the heavy lifting in Kursk, and deriving a lot of badly needed foreign capital for their efforts. Trump needs to make a deal with North Korea to offset the loss of foreign currency when he ends the mess in Ukraine.
Since China is our real enemy, we want to do everything we can to drive wedges between the PRC and both Russia and North Korean.
Immediate “concessions” to Russia: (1) end the sanctions; (2) invite Russia to return to SWIFT.

The President’s strong statement about future cooperation with Russia is going to give China concern about the reliability of Russian support in any conflict with the United States. Which is an important step forward on the China portfolio.
Did you notice that Gen. Keith Kellogg was not mentioned in in PDJT’s Truth Social post? Instead he mentioned Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who was originally hired to handle Middle East affairs.
Kellogg is being pushed aside, which is a good thing because he’s imbued with the Cold Warrior’s mindset that Russia is bad and always will be. Moscow will see this subtle clue as another positive signal coming from Team Trump.

Kellogg is being pushed aside, which is a good thing because he’s imbued with the Cold Warrior’s mindset that Russia is bad and always will be. Moscow will see this subtle clue as another positive signal coming from Team Trump.
So happy to see Witkoff there instead of Kellogg, who I think is lying to Trump.

Great things can happen when 2 intelligent and reasonable world leaders have a respectful and cordial conversation. They both love their country and want to protect their own citizens. Both rejected the woke bs. Both believe in secure borders and no illegals. Both are Christians who just want to do business. We should be allies, not enemies.
They are formidable negotiators. 2 adults in the room. It will be a win-win.
As far as the third party, Z will be told to put on his dancing shoes, follow the big-boy negotiated instructions and then holds an election where he will then be kicked out of his office and for his own security he’ll leaving Ukraine.
