President Trump delivered some rather remarkable filler information today surrounding the phone calls between himself, President Putin and President Zelenskyy. The remarks, which should not be missed, come at the conclusion of the Tulsi Gabbard swearing in ceremony. [09:45 video, prompted]
The first question received was about the Russia v Ukraine conflict and the conversations with Zelenskyy and Putin. President Trump outlined that the first meeting to end the conflict will likely take place between himself and Vladimir Putin in Saudi Arabia as organized through the intermediary, Mohammed Bin Salman (MbS). [11:45]
President Trump noted there was unlikely to be any NATO discussion for Ukraine, and the concession of territory to Russia was generally accepted foregone conclusion. [15:10] Due to the curiously missing Zelenskyy in the response, the media asked if President Trump “sees Ukraine as an equal member in the process.” President Trump responded that it was an interesting question, but ultimately “they have to make peace.” President Trump then noted that eventually, during this ceasefire, Ukraine is going to need to conduct elections. [More than implying that Zelenskyy is irrelevant].
The general response in combination with the previously released statement from Zelenskyy seems to frame a strange dynamic. Zelenskyy never asked Trump to visit Ukraine, and the way President Trump frames the Zelenskyy perspective is as if the Ukranian President is willingly an outside observer without a genuine ability to engage without having to ask another “entity” for permission. The way President Trump outlines the discussion(s) further evidences the suspicions we highlighted before. [SEE HERE] The response to the Ukraine questions extends to around 22:17 of the video, where the subject changes to DOGE. There again, some really interesting remarks from President Trump.
President Trump notes the corruption being outlined is of such a massive number, “billion and billions”, that there is no way these payments do not include kickbacks, likely to politicians. Trump then turns to AG Bondi and remarks that this is something the AG will likely have to look at. “There’s a lot of things to look at Pam.”
President Trump informs the media he will likely hold a press conference tomorrow, after the reciprocal tariff announcement, where he will outline some examples of the demonstrable fraud being uncovered by DOGE.
“Nobody cares” within the system, President Trump remarks. Saying if that attitude permeates long enough the government “loses control” of the payment process. This appears to be the general finding within the DOGE review of various agencies. The “waste, fraud and abuse,” is a feature of the current process, not a flaw. It appears to be purposeful and happening by design of the runaway government created in the aftermath of Obama and Biden.
President Trump notes the judicial challenges to the DOGE review essentially, give the corrupt officials “time to cover their tracks.”

i don’t understand how they can cover their tracks. a check is cashed into a bank account. i don’t think you can walk into the check writer’s bank and demand payment. but, even if you could, you would have to show ID. So, the check is either deposited in someone’s bank account, or (if they allow this), a person shows ID that they are the payee, and that info is recorded at the bank cashing the check. I assume these checks are written to NGO’s. OK, but someone is the beneficial owner of that organization. And that person(s) are the ones authorized to cash checks written to the NGO. Even if they changed the owners now, there would be a paper trail of who was controlling this NGO when the checks were paid.

I don’t believe the collapse in journalism is due to the internet as newspapers. I believe that the 4th branch of gov’t has transformed legacy media into deep state mouthpieces. There is no investigative journalism, the journalists are given talking points from agencies, gov’t officials, NGO’s etc etc….and they use that for their stories. Investigative journalism is citizen journalism — Candace Owens, James Okeefe, etc.
That’s because the old press didn’t graduate from ‘journalism school’. They were either tough smart wise guys who didn’t even go to college or educated broadly and classically; they not only had great research skills, but excellent critical thinking skills, both a natural and cultivated skepticism, and a genuine love for their country and it’s people, and a sense of mission to protect it. Today these people are just not that smart, and lack all the other attributes, too. They are just sad, embarrassing, and delusional.

So you can say the money is to be used to pay for starving kids in Liberia but if the money was never spent there or served 10 kids, there is nothing criminal about it. And you paid Samantha Power 25% of the grant money as an “advisor”? Not illegal as long as she reported it on her return.

Grants are supposed to be audited to see if they are meeting the criteria for which they used to apply for the grant and which was considered to get the grant. You can’t just apply to geta bunch of money w/o having to file periodic progress reports. If those reports are not filed and are not being enforced by the government worker in charge, it could be a criminal violaion, a civil case violation or both. And that failure to do your job extends to supervisors as well.

SCOTUS does not do anything proactively. They rule only on cases that have been submitted to them on appeal and that they then choose to review (i.e.; grant certiorari, or ‘cert.’ for short). There has always been wide speculation as to what issues impact their decisions to grant cert … IMHO each case accepted is uniquely important in some fashion that the justice believes needs to be addressed at that time.

Interesting ruling, on the unfreezing of the buy out, the Judge ruled the Unions didn’t have standing, but ALSO ruled that he DID NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY to order the freeze.
