Secretary of State Marco Rubio is following an excellent political strategy to position for 2028, and We The People are likely to benefit from it.
Rubio, Vance and DeSantis will be the financially backed lineup competing for the 2028 Trump endorsement. DeSantis will use his Florida platform to run alongside every MAGA initiative and be first to execute the priorities of the Trump administration – all good. From Rubio’s perspective, he’s in a big spotlight and capable of using his influence to rebrand the MAGA opinion strongly in his direction – again, really good. JD Vance holds the top spot for the ’28 endorsement as long as he continues to be the firm right hand of the one that matters, President Donald J Trump.
None of the three require any endorsement for financial support, all of the background billionaire players have checkbooks fattening as we speak to deliver the needed funding. However, all of the three require the endorsement for success in the ’28 campaign. This dynamic ensures some really awesome results will flow from all three positioning leaders in the next few years.
The era of Trump’s influence is the determinative factor, in the real life “Apprentice.” – We benefit. All good.

I’m trying to give Rubio an opportunity to ease concerns about him but … as “Acting” Administrator of USAID, he’s blocked all access to previously available and PUBLIC statements/press releases issued by this agency. That leaves me concerned.
…and feeling a bit “managed”.
I don’t know if Rubio can ever win over the populace after his 2016 campaign and debate performances.
I guess that’s where the Trump endorsement comes in handy. A Trump endorsement would be huuuuuuuge.
I have no problem predicting, right here and now, that it will be JD. You can see how he’s being mentored, by The Boss, for the job. I don’t anticipate him screwing up; there’s too much at stake.

My fear is that the financial backers will choose the fakers over real MAGA. I don’t the backers’ goals have changed nor will they change. And those goals don’t put America and Americans First unless they get what they want.

I was a registered Democrat for decades and voted for Carter, Clinton(Bill), and even Obama first term. Am I to be condemned or held in suspicion for the rest of my life? The folks to watch are the Freedom Caucus, specifically Chip Roy and Thomas Massie. The Freedom Caucus always say they support Trump’s agenda, but they eventually try to undermine it (see Mike Johnson’s speakership vote). A few weeks ago, I was sure the FC would tank Trump’s tax cuts to make him look like a failure, paving the way for DeSantis to be the front-runner for 2028. However, with Trump’s monstrous success in the first two weeks, the FC probably see too much political downside to take on Trump. Watch for the March budget battle when the snakes crawl out of their hole. It really comes down to the one or two reconciliation bill approach. The two reconciliation bill approach is the vehicle to ensure border and immigration pass but tax cuts fail, which will make Trump look like a failure. Trump is wise not to buy into Lindsey Graham and Chip Roy’s fearmongering on the one reconciliation bill.
The gentleman who composed The Game Plan regularly posted on the Presidential Post referenced them as the Freedom Clowns.

I totally noticed a huge chance in Rubio’s and DeSantis’ attitudes toward Trump. They are indeed begging for Trump’s endorsement.
I thought Rubio would do a full 4 years being SOS. I’ll predict a Vance/Rubio ticket in 2028 unless of course some unforeseen circumstances.

Neither of Rubio’s parents were US citizens when Little Marco was born. That makes him ineligible to be POTUS. And, because in the past he has offered himself for the office, he’s a liar by omission. Lastly, he is a John McCain protege, a warmonger, neocon POS. To suggest Rubio would be in line for a future POTUS, that may continue the Trump reset, is not a thoroughly vetted idea.
Show me where that is so Constitutionally or by US Law. Believe me I want it to be so not so much bout a like or dislike for Rubio but to finally be able to point to a US Legal document that says “A Natural Born Citizen is_____”. I can’t find it and believe me I looked when Cruz ran in ’16.

Vance… I certainly have more hopes for him since he is spending more time with Trump and seeing *everything* from his POV. He also doesn’t have disqualifying marks of serving on the ssci or running agsinst Trump in 2020. He has his issues, however. But Im not seeing any dudes lining up that don’t have some big issues.
JD’s to lose right now. Ron’s disasteruos campaign will be too recent to overcome, so third place. From what I’ve seen of JD Vance, I think he’s experienced a true change of heart. He became a Christian, got married, had children, and saw that President Trump was NOT the evil, incompetent, charlatan the press claimed him to be. He’s seeing the deep corruption within the MSM, the govt (Deep/Administrative State), etc. and just how deeply the government has infiltrated every area of our lives. I’m hoping he doesn’t want anything to do with globalists and Marxists. He sees the evil trying to overcome the good through many woke outlets. And I LOVE the way he puts the corrupt media in their place with all his interviews.
At this point, I’m leaning toward him being true MAGA. I think he wants his children to live in a prosperous and free America and to benefit from MAGA policies. So, I’m cautiously optimistic about where his heart truly is. Time will tell.

I remember only too well the debates in 2016 when Rubio and Cruz were acting like high school idiots. Rubio is very CIA connected, no thanks, I don’t even want him in this administration. DeSantis isn’t what people think he is. and Vance is run by his wife, was introduced to Trump by Peter Thiel of Palantir, and former CEO of Google, Eric Schmidt, both of whom are on the board of Bilderberg and Vance has attended meetings. Vance’s wife is on the board of a Gates organization and both of them worked for the same nasty law firm the Obama’s once worked for. Usha Vance and Vivek Ramaswampy are first cousins, but Vivek is already out of the administration. Apparently word had it that he wasn’t a very good worker. None of these people are good presidential material.

Both states’ electoral votes went to Trump this time. Hard to imagine from where we sit right now, that Rubio or DeSantis or JDVance would be able to win those states from their former governor.
The electoral map would still be very challenging for anyone who is an R, no matter how well Trump is thought of at the end of his term.
Shapiro might have some hesitant voters because he’s Jewish, and he was in the IDF when he visited Israel at 18. Supposedly, he wasn’t involved with military.
