It seems to this observer that pre-emptive pardons fly in the face of the basic foundation of American jurisprudence.
Mind you, I’m no lawyer, nor am I an expert on such matters.
That said…American jurisprudence is based upon the premise of presumed innocence – one is presumed innocent until that moment where it is adjudicated in a court of law that evidences and testimonies allow for a determination of guilt.
Pre-emptive pardons circumvent that.
It should have been taken to court when President Ford did so with President Nixon. However, with Nixon, articles of impeachment – listing specific wrongs – had already been drawn up. They simply had not been introduced before the House, and President Nixon resigned before that could be done. Since specific wrongs were listed in those articles, no one thought to challenge them.
Now, we have full blanket pardons issued for people who have zero crimes listed to their names.
These ought to be challenged in court as a usurpation of the judicial branch’s power to determine what adjudication of guilt should be rendered for each case.

There is, and has never been any prudence in our jurisprudence system. A true system of justice would rely on facts to detemine justice and would be a wide ranging, no stone unturned hunt to get at the truth of the matter. No relevant fact would be excluded from this focus, regardless of the opinion of the officers of the court, and no technicalties would be allowed to taint the truth.
How can you call a system “jurisprudence” that allows a judge to overturn the verdict of a jury? How can you allow a judge to decide guilt or innocence without a jury? How can it be OK to allow a man to be bankrupted, just by an accusation, when he cannot afford to defend himself in what has become a system that only the rich can afford? How is it that thousands of defendants are jailed, FOR YEARS, without their right to a speedy trial for any reason?
The legal system in this country is a travesty. The only hope for anyone, other than the elite to obtain real justice, is for the citizens to rise up and force the system to become accountable, and that won’t happen until conditions for the plebes become insufferable. Only then will the guilty, regardless of how their guilt has been either ignored or pardoned, be punished for their crimes.

Since Biden and a number of politicians and others that he pardoned were participants of a successful coup that illegally altered the results of the 2020 Presidential and down ballot elections, is treason a pardonable offense and can a person involved in treason pardon other individuals who committed treason?
The good news is that Joe couldn’t and DIDN’T pardon himself. Investigators PROVED that Biden had money deposited into his personal bank account from the Chinese govt. It’s a safe bet he didn’t declare bribes on his Federal Income Tax forms. No, Joe will never be sent to prison for tax evasion, but everything he owns, including his mansions, Corvette and cash can be seized to cover the unpaid taxes, interest and penlaties. Tax cases are tried in the IRS’ own administrative courts, so a federal judge appointed by Joe wouldn’t be deciding the case. We can only hope…
Surprisingly, he didn’t preemptively pardon himself. The course is clear—put Biden through the legal meat grinder and subpoena all the pardon recipients to give testimony that’s no longer 5th amendment protected. And if they don’t testify or pull the “sudden amnesia” lie, hold them in contempt. And if it’s done before Congress, I seem to recall there’s now a prison penalty that is suddenly enforceable thanks to the Navarro and Bannon examples.
Aside from all this, these pardons must be challenged. It was never the framers intent to permit (and thus promote) a presidential power to reward lawless criminal behavior that hasn’t been prosecuted and a conviction secured. The essence of a pardon is that a guilty verdict is already in place for the recipient.
The fear and desperation (and arrogance) of the left to set this precedent without thinking it through is astonishing. This must be challenged immediately.
