In April 2018 when Paul Ryan joined about 40 other Republicans to resign from the House of Representatives (in a year when Republicans EXPANDED their majority in the US Senate) it was clear what the strategy was: hand the House to Democrats so they could impeach PDJT. It was also all the proof any reasonably awake person needed to conclude that the Republicans had absolutely no intention of keeping any of the bullshit promises they had made in the prior 25 years.

It’s the same reaction almost all humans have – we watch the world going to crap around us, and complain. Then we pat ourselves on the back like we did something. I’m as guilty of this as any of you are. Why do you think we are this way?
As people, we celebrate when we see someone actually doing something. That’s why we celebrate explorers, innovators and trailblazers. I think this is why the American people love Trump so much. He’s built a winning team of non-perfect people (who have a history of winning) and is taking on a problem that WE CREATED with our lack of ambition.
Here is what I’m doing in my house to ensure this craziness doesn’t get my kids. I’ve taught my kids to think critically. They physically train in combat sports, and they know how to shoot. They hunt, fish and all of them could drive a manual transmission by the age of 12. They do their own maintenance on their vehicles. Because they think critically, they are suspect of “credit” for the sake of a “credit score.” They are skeptical, because I’ve trained them to be skeptical.
I’d love to hear what you’ve done to change things that you’re unhappy with. What successes have you had in your house?

I consider the biggest success in my house to be honoring the sacrament of marriage. We stuck it out through thick and thin, and believe me, there was plenty of both!
With so many of their friends from broken homes (like I was), my adult children have expressed their gratitude to us for the solid foundation we provided for them. To their friends, we are Ward and June Cleaver. And our home has always been welcoming to all comers.
We also provided our children a solid foundation in the Christian faith which, again, is something I didn’t have growing up. I expect those seeds will sprout and spread, as well.

Find out who was taking advantage of Joe’s condition to advance their own agenda. Had to be multiple agendas given the lack of consistency in decision making. Then use it to pass a law targeting elder abuse.
Trump can use sympathy and justice for all people with dementia or Alzheimer’s for Joe’s condition as backstop to take actions to undo as much as possible.
