Simultaneous to Washington DC debating how to fund government with an undertext of self-preservation and defense against Donald Trump’s arrival, we see a flock of tech CEOs rushing to talk to President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
The latest arrival to the southern White House is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (AWS), who hedged his bets too long and was late in supporting President Trump before the election. This has put Bezos in a position of riding his bicycle in slow circles at the end of the driveway while Musk (xAI), Ellison (Oracle) and Thiel (Palantir) have full access ‘insider’ passes along with their ally Vice-President Elect JD Vance.
NEW YORK POST – Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was seen sauntering into Mar-a-Lago late Wednesday night to have dinner with President-elect Donald Trump. Bezos walked in with his fiancée Lauren Sanchez for their first dinner with Trump since the soon-to-be 47th president won re-election. Trump had said last week that Bezos would visit him at his Florida mansion.
The billionaire is just one of the tech executives hoping to get in Trump’s good graces before inauguration. Bezos had informed Trump’s team that he would donate $1 million to his inaugural fund, according to the Wall Street Journal. (read more)
Apple CEO Tim Cook and META CEO Mark Zuckerberg were previous guests at Mar-a-Lago for tech meetings before Bezos. Heck, all that’s needed now is for Bill Gates to show up and a wormhole revealing a parallel universe is likely to open. However, all kidding aside, what we are witnessing is something extraordinarily unique, a timeline and confluence of events with great consequence.
♦ It’s all about money.
If we step back and look at the origin of the most recent geopolitical unrest, most of it -as usual- connected to the economics of things; what we notice is the World Economic Forum’s post-pandemic Build Back Better agenda created a global energy crisis, and subsequently a great deal of international inflation.
The originating angst behind the recent EU election outcomes can be traced back to the collateral damage from the insufferably short-sighted “clean energy” policy. Yes, it was all intentional, and yes, the consequences were predictable. However, what was unknown to those who orchestrated the events, was the eventual reaction from the citizens who felt the brunt of the economic consequences.
At its root cause and consequence, France has now lost their governing party coalition, while the German governing party coalition also just collapsed. The nation of Georgia rebuked the entreaties of Brussels, and the people of Romania are trying to generate an election outcome that can withstand the manipulation of the European Union.
The inverted fascism of the WEF (corporations controlling govt) is now being rejected throughout the European continent, while Brussels and the NATO-led western leadership teams attempt to find new ways to retain control.
The underlying turmoil is mostly economic, and we can trace the origin of these surfacing geopolitical dynamics to the post-pandemic plan known as Build Back Better. Inflation, skyrocketing costs of living, food prices, home heating, fuel prices, farming costs, transportation and so much more. All of it impacted by an energy policy that touches every aspect of life.
All of those energy policy consequences create serious trouble. However, this geopolitical trouble also creates an opportunity where President Trump’s use of economic leverage as a tool to create national wealth gains power. All these various western nations are precariously balanced right now, and here comes President Trump – the proverbial Godzilla in a China shop.
President Trump has both economic and national security expectations for China, Russia, Ukraine, the EU, Canada and Mexico. Most of the “western” nations in that group are in a vulnerable economic position to the impact that Trump can deliver; they know it, and he knows it. Consider….
VIA POLITICO – […] The economic crosswinds sweeping across the continent threaten to stir into a perfect storm in the coming year as an unchained Trump sets his sights on Europe. In addition to levying new tariffs on everything from Bordeaux to Brioni (the president-elect’s favorite Italian suit-maker), the incoming leader of the free world is certain to reinforce his demand that NATO countries either pony up more cash for their own defense or lose American protection.
That means European capitals, already struggling to rein in surging deficits amid dwindling tax revenue, will face even greater financial strains, which could trigger further political and social upheaval.
Recessions and trade wars may come and go, but what makes this juncture so perilous for the continent’s prosperity has to do with the biggest inconvenient truth of all: the EU has become an innovation desert.
Though Europe has a rich history of eye-popping inventions, including scientific breakthroughs that gave the world everything from the automobile to the telephone, radio, television and pharmaceuticals, it has devolved into an also-ran.
Once synonymous with cutting-edge automotive technology, Europe today doesn’t have a single entry among the 15 bestselling electric vehicles. As former Italian Prime Minister and central banker Mario Draghi noted in his recent report on Europe’s flagging competitiveness, only four of the world’s top 50 tech companies are European. (more)
President Trump’s first term was consequential in part because it was unexpected. This time many of those nations know exactly what to expect; but the bizarre part is, because of what they did to themselves they cannot preposition to avoid their vulnerability.
They carried out the plan of the WEF organization. Now, as a direct and specific consequence, economically most of those nations are completely exposed and politically weak. President Trump has never had this much leverage before.
In term #1, the reacting allies dragged their heels to comply with Trump’s requests and expectations. In Term #2 I expect one of the more visible elements for us to watch will be how fast those same allies react to requests and expectations. In fact, I think we are already seeing this play out.
The speed of compliance by “western allies”, is directly proportionate to their economic vulnerability. Mexico and Canada are great examples.
The European Union Commission are a bunch of elitist snobs who refuse to accept how detached and diminutive they truly are. However, it is going to be fun to watch the EU fall in line quickly to avoid President Trump simply getting up from the table and walking out.

A SOLUTION:
Congressional “Vote-of-Confidence” Elections where “No = Instant Recall Elections”
BOTH for Senators and Representatives:
• Nation-wide OR State-wide “Votes-of-Confidence” for SENATORS
-> Triggered by “Majority of State-Senates” OR “Majority of Senator’s State Senate”
-> State-Wide RECALL Elections for any No-Confidence Outcome
• State-wide OR Congressional-District “Votes-of-Confidence” for REPRESENTATIVES
-> Triggered by “Majority of State-Houses” OR “Majority of Representative’s State House”
-> Congressional-District RECALL Elections for any No-Confidence Outcome
BETTER Options Welcomed!
OPTION: Automatic NATIONWIDE RECALL Vote for EVERY Senator and Rep on March 1st and Quarterly thereafter whenever
(1) Congress has gone 90 Days without a BALANCED BUDGET
and/or
(2) The Federal DEBT has NOT DECLINED over the prior 90 Days
Is this Constitutional? I honestly don’t know and do not understand every other country’s election laws.
No, not constitutional.
We might call it extra-Constitutional. As in, it’s dealing with a situation outside the Constitution, a situation which was anticipated by instructions in the Declaration of Independence, which long pre-dates the Constitution.
“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
Doesn’t seem like the constitution exists anymore. Remember, Biden said it was just a piece of paper.
So we bitch and moan about people ignoring the Constitution so we can……ignore the Constitution. Got it!
Repeal the seventeenth amendment
Agreed
What We The People can do is repeal the Constitution’s 17th Amendment.
Prior to the 17th, the individual States, either the Governor or State House and/or State Senate selected your 2 Senators AND the State’s had immediate RECALL authority as outlined in the State’s Constitution. Today a Senator is accountable to no one but their next election. 17th Amendment has no RECALL provision for Senators.
That’s a myth. Prior to the 17th Amdt the states could NOT recall their US Senators. The states constitutions are not applicable here, the US Constitution sets out the conditions for all members of Congress.
https://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2024/08/17th-amendment-myth-busted-there-was-no-recall-power/
Also, would you trust your state government to elect your Senator for you? I think we’d end up with worse people than we have at present.
Not sure it’s about the ability to recall as much as how they are selected.
Correct. No such thing as recall.
Mostly a question of how voting for Senator was managed. Problem was deadlocked legislature with no one elected at expiration of term. The legislatures were the ones that gave up electing Senators. They will never try to get it back. Only vehicle would be an Article V convention. And still you need ratification by 3/4s state legislatures, as I doubt Congress would ever authorise ratification by state convention.
Yes! Yes! And YES! This is one of our root problems.
Exactly!
That would be Constitutional. Not likely, but legal.
Are you Canadian? That sounds downright Parliamentary. Just kidding. However… If your goal is to “reach out and tap a pol that is ignoring constituency”, totally agree. I have an idea I call the “Torches and Pitchforks Bill.” Establish that representatives and senators will be reimbursed for office expenses but for 5 months in DC, 7 months in their home district. Senators can occupy space in their respective capitals since they don’t really have home districts. This way they are denied fulltime on the elixir of swamp brotherhood and forced to be locally available when a constituent wants to “talk”. Senators can get to know their state counterparts better, quasi 17 Amendment-ish. When a mass gathering of the swamp is indicated, Zoom it.
“Torches & Pitchforks Bill” Challenge: Getting Congress to pass it.
”Congressional Accountability Czar” Advantage: No Congressional Confirmation or Impeachment.
• President Trump empowers Czar to …
• Cancel Senator & Rep Spending/Reimbursement Allowance 100% per Day Not In Session
• Reduce Congressional Staff Compensation 10% per Month without Balanced Budget
• Deduct Member “Non Market-Index Trading Gains” from Staff Compensation Budgets
-> Let Members fund Staff with Insider-Trading Funds Stolen from Investors
House votes down revised bill.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/12/breaking-house-votes-against-trump-endorsed-government-funding/
Shut it all down!
Enough, girl.
Agree.
Let’s get the party started.
Cue the hysterics…
No hysterics.
Let the Democrats take the credit for the shut-down.
Two years before the next election; plenty of time for President Trump to take control of the “Conservative” Republicans, i.e. Chip Roy, who usually pop-up to scream about this and that, while he completely ignores the politics that are being played.
It will never “all” be shut down. Not a penny is “saved” when the government is “shut down”.
Even when it is “shut down”, spending continues at precisely the same rate, just adding a tiny percentage point more to the national debt each day than it would be adding if the CR had been approved.
I would like that arrangement, too–to be able to keep on writing checks because they were never returned by the bank. Such a deal. And then–because there was no money in my account to be taken out of my account, I could also claim that I had reduced my spending.
Until something HUGE changes, deficit spending is cheerfully sustained.
I understand how the government budgeting works.
This is all politics.
Normally, the Republicans take the hit of shutting down the government.
Let the Democrats have the honor this time.
President Trump must teach those wild cats who controls and holds the reins of power in DC.
Yes, HE must herd these cats.
Of course – to all your points. In case someone else, other than me, benefits from having the obvious stated out loud….I try. Once in awhile.
Using the term “shut down” is meant to terrify the masses so that they will put pressure on their elected reps.
A more scurrilous “club” it would be hard to imagine.
Yes, to both of your paragraphs, Betsy!
Sharon, in case our paths don’t cross before the 25th I want to wish you a peaceful and joyous Christmas, which I do with a full heart. Bet 🌲
Merry Christmas to you, dear Bet. The Incarnation is an astounding reality!….and we celebrate!
I find myself reflecting on it daily. And daily becoming more and more amazed…and grateful 😘
And what they do “shut down” are pressure points designed to cause pain on the people and legislators hearing the screams of the people so there is pressure to allow the passage of the pork bill.
That’s why it’s worth their getting a gazillion calls that We the People would love a shutdown!
Prove to them that we’re not scared – we’re on to their game.
I believe the 20th is payday for the feds. The next pay period runs through the 28th. Not sure if it is legal to accrue work hours without having dollars available, even if next payday isn’t until 3 Jan. If typical, feds will get a vacay and full pay on the 3rd. Though my experience is nothing really gets done over this Christmas/NY so having feds on leave doesn’t change anything. I do have a medical appt at VA for the 24th though.
Sounds great, I wonder if for the first time though somebody is going to point out that along with the “poor soldiers” pay and everything else they whine about goes the EBT and social services funding…SAME CHECKBOOK!
Then you will see it taken to the streets.
Keep Congress in session threw Christmas and New Year until a clean bill is passed
No. Just shut down.
They won’t do it right.
No one should think that federal gov’t workers are crying about this. Why?
Now the “non-essential” workers will get a nice long Christmas break that may go into New Year’s Eve.–paid for by you and me. Whenever government reopens, they get 100% back-pay and still have all their accrued vacation leave.
This works out very nicely for them.
Let the so called “workers” have their holiday.
Better still, keep the America wrecking reps’ and senators’ hands tied.
I dare say more than half our country’s problems come from these poseurs who marinate in their appellation…
Lawmakers.
And who believe they’re not earning their crust unless they churn out tens of thousands of those execrable “laws” which make the lives of those who have to follow them on penalty of fines or imprisonment harder and/or miserable.
I’ve got other things to say about this inept political charade, but I’ve really had enough; and my eyes are worn out from the rolling they’ve been doing today (and really for a whole lot longer).
Especially where Trump won’t really be in the commander’s seat for another month.
Shut it down, & let the adversaries bi&ch & moan from somewhere else.
Sometimes in business when a chronic problem-case gives notice to leave in 3 weeks, it often makes sense to get them out early, for the sake of everyone else.
Take away their DC soapbox & limit the distractions for the new incoming executive team.
But they are working from home anyway. Are we going to pay them to do nothing from ‘home’ and then pay them again when the have to return to their part time job at best?
Some disappointing names on the list.

Why? They did good. The powers slipped in the debt limit increase to Jan 30 2027 instead of March 2025 like they were told before.
PDJT wanted it raised now so that he doesn’t have his agenda used as a bargaining chip by congress in March. They will be negotiating it away to get the dems to agree to a debt limit raise just when he is getting started.
He wants to be able to get his agenda off the ground without the debt ceiling kabuki drama disrupting it. Republicans always act like the debt ceiling is a big deal and then they raise it anyway. They raised it over and over for Brandon after symbolic or minimal cuts.
Congressional Republicans do not understand his winning strategy.
Yeah, he needs to take each one aside and explain it to them. They probably need the Trump touch (literally). They didn’t want to raise the debt ceiling again is my guess.
I’m reading that within this new CR, much was eliminated.
But one thing in particular was not.
And that was the censoring any investigation into Congress itself, which means any investigation into the political J6 committee corruption.
As we learn more, we’ll find out if this is true.
For the moment, I’ll hold my condemnation until more details come out.
I suspect there is more…much more…that we don’t know.
Yet.
Thank you for that list, Leave 👍🏻
Several of the no votes usually have good reason for their votes. I agree to hold of on the condemnation.
My point last night. How much of the appalling crap remained in the new one.
This for starters, Hoo.
And this alone is the best reason to shut it all down.
The WHO agenda with 12 new biolabs, not removed, alive and kicking in the now rejected new CR.
I am concerned that President Trump wasn’t aware, and that he might not be concerns me.
https://pjmedia.com/benbartee/2024/12/20/government-funding-bill-includes-cash-for-a-dozen-biolabs-to-researchengineer-new-viruses-n4935298
The excuse for funding biological warfare has always been that we need to remain one step ahead of our enemies. It was the same concept for the nuclear arms buildup prior. It is always about the need to stay ahead of the curve. At least that’s how it’s presented.
Now even Sundance mentions the fact that AI is here to stay, so President Trump’s donors are vying to get themselves in front of it, so they can reap it’s profits.
It’s always the same issue. We can’t make this stuff go away, we can only attempt to control (or exploit) it.
38 Republicans along with all House Democrats voted NO on the new CR bill to keep the Gummint open, so I guess its “SHUT IT DOWN” and Dems take the blame?
As for Speaker Johnson, he did as PDJT asked, in that he put forth the bill. But, did he work to get it passed, or to get it voted down?
Ahhh, that is the question, but is that the question?
Hakeem is showboating and blaming the Republicans, when it was the Democrats who killed the bill.
Those Republicans who voted against it, should all be duly recognized and primaried.
President Trump certainly needs to take a trip “up the Hill” and get those “loser Republicans” in line.
No more carrots; only sticks allowed now.
No, it’s the opposite.
MAGA and President Trump did not want the bill to pass. The CR spent way too much money and raised Congressional salaries from $174,000 to $243,000 at a time like this when so many are hurting.
We need to primary those Republicans who voted for the bill. And get rid of Mike Johnson!
Maybe Elon Musk can be Speaker of the House.
You’re mistaken, The bill that was voted down was not the 1500 page bill which raised Congressional salaries etc. It was a 150 page bill with most of the bad stuff removed.
According to Fox news the New bill kept the congressional pay raises
as well as the new stadium for DC.
Do we know what remained? I would guess it was still appalling.
If Massie, Biggs and Gosar voted against it its safe to assume it contained poison pills.
If Republicans knew how to message…
They would start calling this ‘The Biden Shutdown’…
And demand that he get his *ss to DC and do his job!
and the only voice in Maryland who is always on the “right” side Andy Harris.
Absolutely, Harris is MAGA.
Thanks for explaining and correcting me!
I doubt it was removed. 150 pages is massive overkill for what I’d consider an emergency resolution. My understanding is that total dollars remained effectively unchanged.
Part of the problem is Congress hasn’t passed a new Farm Bill and the current one runs out on 31 Dec 24. So a “clean” CR won’t do anything about that and any congress critter in a farm district understands that. Not just farmers as it also covers food stamps so your inner city reps have skin in the game too.l
“Hakeem”Johnson has Fully Funded the democRats since becoming Speaker. No Blowout Exposure of Jan 6th show trial committee members, No rebuke for democRat Pelousy for Jan 6th, No Demands to Fib/Doj to stop continuing arrests & trials.
Johnson could have declared Jan 6th committee a renegade operation and made All the videos available to Defense lawyers.
Johnson is a Quisling rinoRat putz.
And could have saved bannon and Navarro from prison
Find the weak spots among the 38: curiously overweight bank accounts, mistresses/boyfriends, curiously overweight bank accounts, links to billionaire anti-American globalists, curiously overweight bank accounts, unqualified relatives in government jobs which they do not deserve, curiously etc.
Launch attacks accordingly!
Fire for effect.
Sure to be getting a lot of priority targets with that legal salvo of investigations, audits, inspections, and indictments.
Left out bitchin’ cars, bigger houses after saying the right things to smear Trump…..
After Trump said that Roy should be primaried, Roy actually made sense. Republicans raising the debt 11 trillion dollars. I thought Trump , Elon, Vivke were gonna reduce spending. We know whats in the Democrats bill, but nothing about whats in this new bill besides what Roy has stated.
Lifting the debt ceiling now rather than making it one of the first battles of PDJT’s presidency makes sense, so he can hit the ground running with his agenda. Chip Soy wants to undermine PDJT’s agenda with his fake budget cut drama.
I stole this from twitter –
Trump wants the debt ceiling increase now while Biden is POTUS so he doesn’t have to bargain away part of his agenda to get it for his 2026 budget. His tax cuts are going to require a debt ceiling increase. His increased spending on border policies and deportation are going to require more spending- initially. He’s a deal maker, not a deficit hawk.
And this -(was already all in caps)
FOR THOSE OF YOU NEW TO POLITICS – WELCOME
NOW PAY ATTENTION
THE DEBT CEILING ALWAYS GETS RAISED IT IS ALWAYS A FAKE FIGHT
THEY ALWAYS RAISE THE DEBT CEILING
Then DOGE will go to work on all of the waste that is not PDJT’s agenda.
I don’t want the debt limit increasing at will till 2027. June 2025 would have been fine
Face it, it is going to happen. It always does. It is BS, we all know it’s BS. President Trump is right. Get rid of the fake debt ceiling.

DJT is a common-sense businessman. U.S. Congress and the whole Executive bureaucracy is owned by corporate interests working with CIA, NSA, and every other dark money operation in D.C. DC = Death City. Trump is one man against a bought and paid for Congress and bureaucracy.
What about a bristling militia of 3 or 4 million marching into Waashington DeathCity and shutting it completely down by driving every bureaucrat in every office into the Potomac to sink or swim as they may? And then guarding every bureaucratic office building to prevent their return. Let Trump build it back however he likes.
Give DJT a clean slate. Dude deserves it, and then some.
Love your work Maxx! 🍿👏❤️
Trump is now playing hardball
I hope he has a plan because if the government gets shut down, a lot of public mudslinging takes place .
Plus a a shutdown has a lame duck like affect on everything planned going forward
Public mudslinging of govt shutdown. I think you are thinking of the decades prior when democrats and their media had the scales in their favor and GOPe meekly “came around”.
Now, fake media is nothing and counter points get out in seconds with X as our “super heavy” launch pad compared to years past and fake news retorts as the GOPricks try to (half heartedly) state their case on the steps of the capital. The GOPrick RINOrats in CONgress just have to shut up until they learn to fighr.
Yes. I suspect the percentage of Americans who hear “government shutdown” and respond with “About time!” is now a supermajority.
Yes a lot of mudslinging, but most of the country is aware of the major issues and with MAGA. Thanks to Elon
Joe’s still President, & Kamala is still Vice.
It’s still technically their world, and they’re still on the payroll.
Trump’s job is mainly to plan.

From Twitter
Democrat Rep. Wiley Nickel cries over Elon Musk trying to help Make America Great Again:
“North Carolina farmers and Western Carolinians are going to get hit hard because of partisan political games by totally inept Donald Trump and his shadow President boss Elon Musk.”
Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett: “This mandate that MAGA thinks exists, it ain’t going nowhere. I ain’t got no favors for Trump. Y’all can see if y’all can figure it out.”
“If Elon Musk is kind of cosplaying co-President here, I don’t know why Trump doesn’t just hand him the Oval Office, or Speaker Johnson should maybe just hand Elon Musk the gavel if they just want that billionaire to run the country.”
— @RepCasar
SHUTDOWN FACTS: Military members, TSA workers, essential workers will NOT be paid during the holidays if the government shutdown happens. REAL people will suffer if the bipartisan deal is scuttled.
No matter what “President Musk,” or his VP Trump says.
JD Vance..
President Trump commits big time to eliminating government waste during his next administration.
So of course, Democrat leadership is whining that they’re not getting their 1,500 page spending bill before his inauguration.
TSA workers…
That’s worth a shutdown all on its own.
Clip Roy needs to realize….raising the debt ceiling doesn’t mean you actual have to get to it…it’s just there. No I don’t like it, but it’s just grandstanding when he complaining about it.
Chip Roy realizes what he is doing; he bloviates and even slips in a few curse words for effect. Seriously, scary dude../sarc.
He’s a phony who constantly emphasizes he is a “Conservative” ad nauseum.
He’s a Never-Trumper.
I’ve never been impressed. Every time he opens his loathsome mouth, it reinforces my first impression.
very disappointing and Bannon has him on his show periodically.
So if raising the debt ceiling means nothing then why have it and why the need to “raise” it?
It’s about being able to maneuver in the short term.
The money!

Congressman Chip Roy is one of the most principled conservatives in Washington DC and people across this country are grateful for his stand against runaway federal spending. We just can’t keep piling trillions in debt on our children and grandchildren. Thank You @RepChipRoy!

From Twitter interview wiht Mike Lee
NEW: Senator Mike Lee reveals Schumer, McConnell, Johnson and Jefferies secretly cooked up the spending bill over the past 85 days expecting to ‘sneak’ it through before the holidays.
Lee said this was a historic moment, crediting X for the bill’s failure.
“The American people are awake. They have access to X…”
“They have access to information and to apps that will help them quickly digest this information. This does not work.”
“It’s an historic moment. It’s fallen apart. And as a result, somebody’s gonna have to lose their job over this.”

We need MORE electoral colleges: at the state level we need every congressional district to have one electoral vote in deciding all state wide and federal positions with the exception of the district representative (obviously for that district). This would empower the “fly over country” to not be hostage to the high population urban cities. It would be very difficult to create ballots in enough of these electoral districts to steal a major position. Example: Philly, Pittsburgh, Erie, State College, and Harrisburg would easily lose out to the rest of PA. So what, then, if Philly is unchangably super corrupt? They’re only one electoral vote among 17 districts.
I heard AOC went to a NY electoral college.
One way President Trump has leverage in Congress is where to relocate agencies or personnel out of DC. Not where Trump will locate new agencies, but the ones that remain.
I saw what was in that spending bill. It was disgusting. Johnson does not even DESERVE to be Speaker.
what everybody seems to forget is any bill the house passes still has to go to the dem controlled senate AND shit for brains supposedly running the country.i think the best course is for johnson to just let the gov shut down til after the 1st of the year.new congress gets sworn in jan 3rd then we have both houses.then bring a bill thru and if the dems vote against it they can take the blame and if they do go along and fjb doesn’t sign it it is still the dems fault.
Table it until Jan. 21st
Shut it down
It won’t effect the mid terms
Best explanation below that I’ve seen for why the republicans should have raised the debt ceiling to make way for PDJT’s tax cuts (which congress counts as spending). Saw on twitter.
Let me explain the debt ceiling to you since it’s pretty clear most of you have no idea what is going on.
As of now, there is no debt ceiling.
Let me repeat that for all of those “true conservative” supporters. As of right now, there is no debt ceiling.
The debt ceiling was suspended back in Jun of 2023.
As things stand now, as of Jan 1st, 2025, the debt ceiling will return, and it will be whatever it was when it was suspended plus whatever spending Biden and the dems did since June of 2023. That new debt ceiling is estimated to be hit by June of 2025 if not earlier.
What the CR wanted to do is push the redemption of the debt ceiling back for 2 years.
This would allow massive tax cuts that Trump wants to make. Things like no tax on tips, no tax on social security, no tax on overtime, a 15% tax bracket for companies who built here, and to stop the Trump tax cuts from expiring.
You see, the government idiots consider tax cuts as government spending. So if you do $4 trillion in tax cuts, the government considers that $ 4 trillion in spending.
The debt ceiling redemption on Jan 1st will make Trump have to figure out how to pass the tax cuts without going over the debt ceiling and triggering a default. Do you get it now?
By not moving the non-existent debt ceiling back two more years, the “true conservatives” just stopped you from getting more of your money returned to you by tax cuts and they kept more money in the government for a bigger gov. In effect, they just voted for the exact opposite of what they tell you they want and don’t for a second think they don’t know that.
That’s why Chip Roy is the loudest, bloviates the most, curses for dramatic effect, threatens those who don’t hold “Conservative VALUES”, and lies every chance he gets.
He’s nothing but a Never-Trumper.
Primary is in his future.
Will the House and the Senate agree to adjourn or not?
Then what?
The President can adjourn Congress for a time if both the House and Senate cannot agree with respect to the time of adjournment among other things. It’s right there, in Article II Section III of the Constitution.
As a practical matter, I would imagine an adjournment some point before the end of the year. Congress critters got to take a vacation from doing work I suppose. I would expect more last minute drama with a must pass continuing resolution though, for reasons explained elsewhere.
I’m a hundred percent with Rand Paul, who was quoted today as saying the GOP should elect Elon Musk to Speaker of the House. If previous were to happen, a giant drain hole would open up instantaneously at the bottom The Swamp. We can dream…
What I am learning here is that voting the CR in the next Congress is much better because the Reconciliation will be between a Republican Senate and the house. Not having spending caps for two years is good because otherwise the Tax Cuts are counted as spending. Amazing how much I learn from CTH.
The dreaded “shutdown at Christmas”. Fear porn.

And that is how the elites manipulate the commoners, isn’t it?
It’s how the US commoners were coerced to accept the harmful ineffective experimental genetic manipulation shots in 2021-. (Debt-serfs in fear of job loss.) We will not forget the unlawful EO 14043 announced Sept 9, 2021 by the elderpuppet.
The intermediary front group WEF centers on the “E” for a reason.
Just got back from one of the big theme parks in Florida. Manifest neo-feudalism, the serfs serving the Lords enjoying a self-indulgent day at the gargantuan juvenile grotesquerie. An eye-opener.
And within the theme park, signs of the increasing dysfunction affecting the US as a whole. The apparent Plan to degrade and push toward full neo-feudalism enforced by totalitarian regime under NWO is apparently working.
The harmful shots? Apparently part of that Plan. More evidently on the way, too.
“The harmful shots? Apparently part of that Plan. More evidently on the way, too.”
Backed by totalitarian force, stealth-inserted into the CR?

The suggestion that state-perpetrated biowarfare democide is underway as part of a Plan to degrade the US Bloc, is plausible.
What will be in the CR that passes?
What shambles and expected disappointment we find with the Republicans, some of whom would rather give Democrats presents rather that compromise with fellow Republicans. The Dems would stick together like glue for the good of the Party.
Hackeem did not get what he wanted. Poor baby!
Sad but not unexpected that the Republicans would rather give presents to the Democrats rather than compromise with their fellow Republicans. Democrats would go to the wire all together to retain their Party unity. Jeffries, Schummer, Johnson and MacConnell cooked this up over months in secret and pulled the usual pass it to read it.
Great analysis Sundance.
Like the songs say, “Don’t fence me in”.and “Hold on, i’m comin”
The Trump effect is real.

they would meet with anyone who is president
“the incoming leader of the free world is certain to reinforce his demand that NATO countries either pony up more cash for their own defense…”
Their own defense? It’s the British Empire’s MacKinderism (NATO expansion) that’s causing Russia to defend ITSELF only to get tagged with the propaganda inversion of ‘Russian aggression’.
stunning economic leverage
pity it’s pissed away every time it could be used, eh?
Trust the plan

I recently went to the bank to see about getting a small business loan. I thought I had a great idea for a new company. I filled out the paperwork, wrote out my business plan but my loan was rejected. I don’t understand how starting a business to give away money to people could be rejected. They asked how I would create revenue by just giving away money. I said, look if the government is able to do it, I should be able to make it work also. How is borrowing money and giving it away not a good way to run things. Afterall, doesn’t everyone borrow money to donate it to those less fortunate?
