During a press conference to announce that Softbank will be investing $100 billion into U.S. manufacturing, tech and overall emerging technology in the USA, President Trump took dozens of questions.
Standing beside SoftBank’s chief executive, Masayoshi Son, at his Mar-a-Lago estate, Mr. Trump announced the anticipated investment likely to create 100,000 jobs. Mr. Son, 67, started SoftBank in Tokyo in 1981 and has built it into one of the largest technology investors in the world. His firm is known for high-profile wins and losses, and Mr. Son — commonly known as Masa — is known to grab headlines with both fund-raising and investments.
Following the announcement with Mr Son, President Trump took questions. WATCH:
.
President Trump politely asked the outgoing Biden administration for two requests:
(1) Stop selling the steel and rebar border wall hardware that President Trump previously purchased. Currently the Biden administration is selling the border wall cheap to anyone who wants to purchase. It’s a ridiculous waste of money.
(2) Stop telling federal workers they will not have to return to their offices. The Trump administration plans to require all federal employees to return to offices and report for work as assigned. There are estimates that only 1% of federal workers actually go to a workplace, the rest work from home.

Work should be in quotations:
Federal employees “work” from home.
covid
This “Work From Home” nonsense needs to be dealt with in the first week of Trumps Administration. Then, move them out of DC. You want to be a Federal employee, then open offices in numerous places in the interior of the country. Get them out of DC.
I know THE perfect area. It’s in California! Look!

in that movie about headcutters who fired people for a living, they were home-based in Omaha
sounds about right
that and a few other flyover backwaters would do nicely
“There are estimates that only 1% of federal workers actually go to a workplace, the rest work from home.“
How to infiltrate the govt with those that want to keep the establishment in place and maintain the status quo.
If I was the deep state then I would let Trump and whoever else enjoy success with the parallel construct. Basically, I would lay low and study Trump’s organization. Then, once the reputation of the parallel construct is established as a force for good, then I would slowly infiltrate and subvert like any and all branches of the government.
The analogy is prez JFK. JFK and his brother Bobby stopped school segregation and literally rescued blacks in the south and elsewhere so the dem’s were on the side of angels.
But, prez Johnson took over and introduced legislation to ‘help’ blacks by destroying the family unit with welfare. Forced bussing was introduced and a raft of other legislation were introduced that made the blacks worst off before JFK. The dem’s destroyed the blacks by using the cover of goodness established by JFK.
In summary, let Trump movement grow, get a superlative reputation and take over. The deep state did it before.
Trump or his successors need to dismantle SSCI and – how do I say it – change the mindsets of those sneaky pete’s in addition to his current plans.
This is a hard nut to crack.
Sometimes, I am my own worst enemy. I meant to put this comment in the Jeffery Sachs article! Apologies to all.
Dumb, really dumb mistake on my part!
:/
