Perhaps the most transparently obvious part of Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski holding this mindset, is the moment at 4:26 when she talks about being responsible to the voters, “what’s this all about,” Murkowski notes with contempt.
“I think we are getting a little bit of a preview now, of what it means to be allegiant to party,” Murkowski continues. Where “allegiant to party” actually means accountable to the voters’ expectations.
How is this supposed to help the institutional operation of Washington DC, if the politicians are suddenly accountable to the voters, instead of the bureaucracy that provides the political influence and affluence. What Murkowski fails to understand is that President Trump is not a cause of her republican party failure, President Trump is our response to her republican party failure. President Trump represents our weapon, her last chance, her choice.
“Get in line” accurately interpreted means do what needs to be done to support the vessel, President Trump, that we have overwhelmingly elected to address our issues. No apologies, get in line -get right- is exactly correct.

Scott Presler seems to have a winning strategy . . . He’s working on New Jersey next. But honestly, it’s the balloting system of the uniparty that needs to be jettisoned. Same day, in person voting with paper ballots would go a long way in cleaning up the corruption and significantly change the political landscape. I do not think we are a closely divided nation as portrayed. Same day paper ballots would prove this. We have the momentum on all fronts. We need to capitalize on it.
For years I voted on election day and my vote was counted by that evening. Where did this months or weeks to vote and all this other election malarkey come from? Obviously the democrats. Can’t get the picture of windows being papered over so counters can’t be watched or workers pulling boxes of ballots out from under tables to count out of my mind. Our elections got off track somewhere by someone. It needs to be fixed.

I would like to see a MAGA party so that the Rinos can truly see what they are up against. One that is strong enough to make demands that we know ahead of time which bills are being discussed and what’s in them so we can make our thoughts known. One that demands transparency on a host of other issues like secret sexual harassment claim funds, money being spent on co-del boondoggle trips abroad, etc. It infuriates me that the Biden regime was allowed to get away with all the damage they perpetrated on this country while our side shrugged their shoulders. I understand the constraints of a small majority, but I just didn’t see the fight and outrage that was justified and required ( with the exception of a few). The Joni Ernst effort gives me some hope and Todd Young is next. Hopefully the success will continue. But that all came from us. It just feels to me like we need to come together in a more unified way.. The current GOP doesn’t cut it.

I just researched ranked choice voting in AK. I was under the impression it was repealed in Nov.

I had a couple hour layover in Juneau a few months ago. After leaving the air port for a haircut and meal, I retuned and was just standing watching people as a flight arrived. Next thing I know Senator Murkowski is standing next to me chatting with someone. I watched for a while then she left.
She is one of my senators, so I write her occasionally, but I was not prepared in the airport to discuss anything.
My assessment. I think her heart is in the right place. I think she genuinely cares about Alaskans. I think she is naive regarding the two party system. Democrats have it down, they oppose other democrats very rarely.
