The worst possible thing would be for Trump to allow this nomination to fold just like the Gaetz nomination . The Gaetz fold was very damaging but for Trump to allow the establishment to take out two of his top picks would be devastating and empower them to never stop .

After watching what he said on Megyns shoe, my summary == he said HE never had a drinking problem nor did anyone ever suggest that he did (until President Trump nominated him to be PDJTs head of DOD.

None of us here can know what’s going on behind the scenes. (Maybe Sundance, he seems to have some inside lines). Personally, I thing DeSantis is the best governor in the country. I detest the thought of Hegseth being canceled by the glob, but if he can’t be confirmed or placed as a recess appointment, I don’t think DeSantis is a poor choice. And I don’t think he’s a RINO, as some here claim. Let’s face it, every politician says things they don’t believe to get into and keep office. But as in all cases, I think his actions speak louder than his words. I don’t have time to research every politician in the country, but I’m receptive to criticism of my take.
FORTUNATELY, since President Trump’s guy, Pete, CAN be confirmed by the Senate and President Trump CAN make his guy, Pete, head of the DOD via a “recess appointment there’s no need to ” think” about, or opine about, DeSantis…
