The U.S. State Department has decided to punish the country of Georgia for refusing to become a replacement for Ukraine, and for voting to remain free from U.S/EU influence. Georgia says, fine – they prefer Donald Trump anyway!
The State Dept has terminated a strategic partnership with the nation of Georgia, choosing to end the relationship now that a new nationalist government has pulled back from joining the European Union. Additionally, U.S Ambassador David Zalkaliani has resigned his post in the country and will return to the USA.
U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, David Zalkaliani, stands with interventionist Lindsey Graham
Despite the official diplomatic withdrawals, as the western funded riots on the streets of Tbilisi continue, it would appear that Samantha Power (USAID) and the CIA are still conducting opposition operations within the country. ‘All your elections are belong to us.’
EUROPE – The United States suspended its strategic partnership with Georgia on Saturday, condemning the country’s decision to pause its efforts toward accession to the European Union amid unprecedented protests against the move.
“The decision by Georgian Dream to suspend Georgia’s EU accession process goes against the promise to the Georgian people enshrined in their constitution to pursue full integration into the European Union and NATO,” the State Department wrote in a statement. “By suspending Georgia’s EU accession process, Georgian Dream has rejected the opportunity for closer ties with Europe and made Georgia more vulnerable to the Kremlin.”
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the suspension of EU accession negotiations on Thursday after the European Parliament criticized the country’s recent election as “neither free nor fair.” Thousands of protesters poured onto the streets in the days since, with sources on the ground telling POLITICO that part of the Georgian parliament building had caught on fire Saturday night. Georgian police have been quick to clamp down, using water cannons, tear gas and pepper spray to quell demonstrations.
In its statement, the State Department condemned the “excessive use of force by police,” noting that the Georgian people “overwhelmingly support integration with Europe.”
Georgian media also reported on Saturday that Georgian ambassador to the U.S. David Zalkaliani resigned from his post. Zalkaliani has served as the country’s U.S. ambassador since April 2022.
Tensions in Georgia have escalated since the Moscow-aligned Georgian Dream party claimed victory in the country’s Oct. 26 election — a victory that opposition parties have contested, alleging election fraud. (read more)
When questioned about the outcome within Georgia recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded:
Question: Good afternoon, Konstantin Kokoveshnikov, Zvezda TV channel.
Recently, in many of Russia’s neighbouring countries, elections at various levels have either already taken place or are scheduled to occur in the near future. We can recall the aforementioned Georgia, as well as Abkhazia, Romania, and Moldova. Concurrently, the electoral process in many of these nations is frequently accompanied by mass protests. Politicians advocating closer ties with the West often accuse their opponents of seeking to deviate from the chosen democratic path, abandoning democratic values, and allege Russian interference in these elections.
From your perspective, do you perceive indications, conversely, of Western interference in the electoral processes of such countries? Do you foresee the threat of new “orange revolutions?” Moreover, how do you personally interpret the sentiments of an apparently substantial segment of the electorate in these countries, who seem inclined to restore severed relations with Russia?
Thank you.
Vladimir Putin: First and foremost, I want to assure you, and you can trust me that this is the truth, or very close to the truth. Despite the numerous interactions with countries of the former Soviet Union, including, for instance, Georgia, where there is likely mutual influence from Russia to Georgia and vice versa, at the official level, we do not meddle in domestic political processes. We do not intervene at all; we do not engage with it, we simply refrain from involvement.
Regarding Western interference, I cannot make the same statement about our Western “colleagues,” if you will. Why? Because if we examine the number of participants from various non-governmental organisations funded by foreign governments, as well as the number of individuals who attend protest rallies – considering their family members, friends, and so forth – we obtain a very realistic depiction of the crowds on the street and the number of individuals receiving funds from foreign governments for political activities within these countries. Just look at it objectively – this is semi-open information – and everything becomes immediately clear. He who pays the piper calls the tune, and indeed, they play it in the squares. Hence, there is interference.
When the events in Georgia unfolded, I must admit, I was taken aback watching and observing all this. I am surprised. We have no relations with them, with the present leadership of Georgia, none whatsoever. Yet, I was quite astonished by their bravery and the character they displayed in defending their viewpoint. I won’t even make assessments of this viewpoint at the moment. To a large extent, similar processes are occurring in the other countries you mentioned. If you find this response satisfactory, there is nothing further to add. (link)
TBILISI – Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Sunday said his Government’s relationship with the incoming president-elect Trump’s administration in the United States “matters most to us” and “everything else is secondary”, expressing confidence his inauguration would “essentially alter” the country’s relations with both the US and the European Union.
In his comments over the US Department of State’s announcement on the suspension of the Strategic Partnership with Georgia on Saturday, following the Georgian Government’s decision to halt accession talks with the EU, Kobakhidze claimed the outgoing administration was “striving to leave utmost difficult legacy” for the incoming Trump presidency.
“They are doing this in relation to Ukraine and Georgia, though it cannot have any fundamental importance”, the PM said and compared the current American leadership to the outgoing Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, calling them both “temporary phenomenon”.
At a press conference, the PM also confirmed the Government had “indirect communication with the Trump’s team and were “waiting for the direct contact”.
Highlighting Trump’s influence on the future of Georgia’s EU integration, he reiterated the bloc’s membership as the country’s main foreign policy priority, which was “enshrined in Georgia’s Constitution” and affirmed his readiness to consent to the opening of negotiations “if such an offer is made by the EU”. French-born Georgian president refuses to leave office
Salome Zourabichvili has refused to recognize the legitimacy of the newly elected parliament and says that it cannot choose her successor
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will not step down from her position despite the end of her mandate in December, she said in a video address on Saturday, explaining that she does not recognize the legitimacy of the newly-formed parliament and intends to stay in office until new elections.
“I remain your President! There is no legitimate parliament that will elect a new president,” she said in a video published on her Facebook page. “My mandate continues until there is a legitimately elected parliament that will legitimately elect a President who will replace me!”
Under the 2017 Georgian Constitution, the head of state is elected by an electoral college consisting of 300 members. Half of them are MPs, and another half are representatives of various Georgian regions. The next presidential vote is scheduled for December 14. Whoever wins is reportedly expected to be inaugurated before the end of the year.
In October, the South Caucasus nation also held parliamentary elections. The Georgian Dream party, which seeks to establish pragmatic relations with all the country’s neighbors, including Russia, emerged victorious with nearly 54% of the vote. The pro-Western opposition parties have refused to recognize the results, sparking a wave of street protests.
The French-born Zourabichvili – a career diplomat for Paris who acquired Georgian citizenship in her 50s – condemned the October election as a “Russian-style” operation, claiming that Georgian Dream is steering the nation towards Moscow and away from that of the EU. She also called for mass protests.
A new wave of demonstrations was sparked this week by the Georgian government’s decision to suspend EU accession talks until 2028. Tbilisi accused Brussels of using the talks to meddle in Georgian politics using “constant blackmail and manipulation.”
On Friday, Zourabichvili published another video address, in which she called on various Georgian officials, including the military and the security services, to join the anti-government protests. She also said that “resistance” was on the rise in the country.
The president described this week’s protests as “extremely peaceful” and blamed the street violence exclusively on the police. “This is your responsibility and only yours,” she said in her speech on Friday. Zourabichvili also joined the protests on Friday night, according to local media reports.
At least ten law enforcement officers were injured in violent clashes with demonstrators that night, according to the Georgian Interior Ministry. Over 250 people have reportedly been arrested in connection with the protests in Tbilisi over the past two days.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze blamed the developments on EU meddling and vowed to prevent a scenario similar to Ukraine’s 2014 Maidan coup, which led to the ouster of the legitimately elected president, Viktor Yanukovich.

Dang
She looks like euro-version of Hilary.
Agree — This Zourabichvili chick seems to have the political instincts of Killary.
Zourabichvili clings to power and simultaneously blames the “…the street violence exclusively on the police.”

Another election denier…
From that bastion of integrity, Wikipedia: (emphasis mine)
“Georgia is a representative democratic parliamentary republic; the President serves as the largely ceremonial head of state, whereas the Prime Minister is head of government. Executive power is vested in the Cabinet of Georgia, composed of ministers headed by the Prime Minister and appointed by the Parliament. Salome Zurabishvili is the current President of Georgia after winning 59.52% of the vote in the 2018 Georgian presidential election. Since February 2024, Irakli Kobakhidze has been the prime minister of Georgia.“
And this little tidbit:
“In November 2024, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared the country’s EU accession process would be paused until 2028, leading to protests.”
Sounds like Kobakhidze wants to let things cool of a bit, and see what life is like after dealing with Trump as US President for a few years, before going out and selling his soul to the EU, and all that such a move would entail.
not only that, their lives, him and others, have had their lives threatened, and many other dangers. The french biotch got in by cheating as president, paid for and by USAID and Samantha Power (the darkest NWO creature that came back from hell to serve Joe). The research on USAID of all the stolen money sent to Ukraine alone is bizarre, that doesn’t include what Joe sent them.
The only goal to get Georgia is they are the last state between Russia and EU/NATO countries, the same scenarios as Ukraine.
In the eyes of a Leftist, the only legitimate elections are the ones they win, the Will of The People be damned.
Here we go again….
Can’t wait til the likes of Victoria Nuland, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice, Cass Sunstien, et Al are permanently removed from any influence whatsoever. It appears it is on the fast track to oblivion…..
PDJT should pull their passports, especially if they still possess diplomatic or official passports.
Would likecto see AI Facial recognition used to compare the videos of J6, with videos of these Tiblisi protests, and similar color revolutions.
Do they have a group of trained agitiators, they bring in for every one of these?
There certainly have been hypotheses suggesting that.
One could almost assert that Putin alludes to exactly that in his words.
There was a commercial company providing ‘attendees’ to Kamala ‘rallies’, (I forget the company name, but at the time I googled it and it seemed “legit”)…so I imagine anything is possible…?

Let’s see them tried under the Logan Act and see how they like it!!!

They say it’s ideological, but it seems like black magic and witchcraft to me.
Note how the US Ambassabdor resigned over Georgia not wanting to join the EU, but definitely wanted better relations with incoming US President.
Why it would seem our Ambassador is representing the interests of the EU rather than his sworn duty to represent the interests of the US????
And Putin clearly but delicately and politely pointing out that it is the IC conducting these operations independently and devoid of formal US Government approval or direction.
So who is it again our IC serves?? 👀

The population of this country is less than Chicagoland…Georgia population is 3.7 million.
It’s a geopolitically strategic piece of land, along with Armenia and Azerbaijan. Key transit route
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
And a land bridge to the ME, as well as an invasion route thru the ‘soft underbelly’ of Russia.
Prescient observation.
The The Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline runs right thru Georgia. (That’s the Tbilisi leg.)
BTC carries most of the oil from the Caspian basin out to the Mediterranean. Parallel to BTC is the South Caucasus Pipeline that carries most of the nat gas.
Georgia is the “transit country” in between the oil/gas supplier country and the country who consumes or ships the oil/gas. Georgia collects transit fees for allowing the pipeline to run across its territory, but doesn’t really contribute much else.
(Similarly another country – Ukraine – is the “transit country” for pipelines running from Russia to the West) Notice how things rhyme?
But Georgia & Armenia are largely Christian. The Azeris are Stalinist Muslims, and repressive as hell. They’re STILL trying to finish the 1915 genocide of Armenia.
Any heads spinning, or vomiting up frogs or nails?
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, losing the support of this unqualified
corrupt administration is no great loss. You’ve got the real President Trump and the MAGA Patriots watching your back now.
Expect Stacy “Tank” Abrams to announce that she will resign as the Governor of The Great State of Georgia and appoint herself the new U.S. Ambassador to the nation of Georgia.
I thought Madam Stacy was “President” of Earth. Although judging from her size I would surmise she is “President” of the Golden Corral desert bar.
Despite very clear election results, the current pro-western president of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, has said that she will not step down. She is encouraging the protesters, along with western NGO’s like USAID and NED. The protests have gotten increasingly violent with protesters throwing Molotov cocktails and firecrackers at police.
I am sure that the US is behind this and this makes me so angry because there is nothing I can do to get our government to stop this kind of activity. I hope that President Trump will fire with prejudice Samantha Power and any other activists who have put the lives of people in other countries in danger and threatened their country’s sovereignty.
she better be fired. All of that “gang” and their good buddies do not have the US interest at heart. We need to keep our noses of other countries business. Can’t have that happen though.
Belle,
Salomé Zourabichvili is a puppet – from the same

How many Senators aren’t?
The senate is a rogue organization. They must be purged.
They perform so few actual functions that they could office from their respective states, meeting once a quarter in DC for 10 days, to conduct business.
Then get out, away from the lobbyists.
Why dont these governments arrest the “Outside Agitators” and put them in prison until say Jan 31 2025.
I’m sure PDJT will move “quickly ” to get their return.
It’s just a matter of the CIA being stretched too thin over there.
They’ve opened up the gates for ISIS and Al Qaeda to go for it in Syria and also take the Kurds out while they’re at it because they’re bailing before Trump gets in.
Christians in Syria are more vulnerable than ever before with the government in danger of collapsing. The Syrian government has been the one to protect minority groups, including Christians. If the Syrian government were to lose power to the Islamic State, not only would there be hundreds of thousands more refugees, but tens and tens of thousands more would be slaughtered by ISIS. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s policies to uphold Syria’s government might save Christian lives. Pray for the Christians in Syria.

Has already started in Aleppo with a new Western IC backed group, HTS.
We need all involved in funding these riots to be held accountable. Any US person involved or funding said NGO’s for the purpose of rioting should be charged as part of a RICO investigation. It would also be interesting to make sure everyone knows any other countries and their citizens which are also involved.

Greetings, people of Georgia.
Sorry about what my country wants to do to you.
Hang in there.
The Politico article says that Zalkaliani is the Georgian ambassador to the US and resigned from his post. So which is it?
Georgian media also reported on Saturday that Georgian ambassador to the U.S. David Zalkaliani resigned from his post. Zalkaliani has served as the country’s U.S. ambassador since April 2022.

Not only the election in Georgia being protested, there is also going to be an election in Belarus in January, 2025. The US and NATO and their NGO’s are planning interference, protests, and coup attempts, just like they tried in 2020.
It is important to note that Putin is not only talking about Georgia, but also talking about the future in Belarus and a lot of the other places that the US is seeking to control the governments through elections and protests of any election that does not suit the US.
Basically Putin: It seems the U.S. directly involved in the same election interference in the region as they accuse me of doing in the United States.
So Russia and Georgia can go back to being best buds like they were circa 2008?
Let’s remember Josef Stalin was a Georgian.
What does that have to do with 2008 altercations between the two countries?
The point is that there are histories behind all of this. There are no clear cut angels of truth and integrity.
If that’s what the people want. After all, its not our nation but theirs.
No argument from me.
The idea in play is that what the people want in Georgia is being manipulated by Samantha Powers et al using the same MO as the orchestrated Maidan coup. I have no reason to doubt that. Sundance has tracked her machinations.
My concern is that the absolutist views voiced by some is, well, cherry picking pieces of history; fairly recent history at that. One can’t get to truth/the full picture if the outcome controls how wide the aperture is opened. Russia and Georgia were at loggerheads in 2008.
Btw…for those of us who worked defining and instrumenting concepts like “the common operational picture” (the COP) it’s much harder to do than you might think.
In the event, trying to make a small point with significant implications.
Merci pour une réponse sans rancune.
Like it or not, the “Samantha Powers” geo-political influence is fading.
As is the “color revolution” strategy.
“Actual citizens,” even as in the USA, are finally beginning to question where “those pallet-loads of bricks” are actually coming from. Or, if necessary, who paid for those “water cannons.” Who paid the bill for “Antifa?”
You seem to be “one Trump card short.”
Congrats to GDream and joining all freedom loving peoples to reject the evil machinations of western Pols who wish to enslave those who just wish to be left alone to raise their families, worship their God, and prosper.
Georgia also passed a law that forces NGOs to disclose where their funding originates. Staying out of the EU was a major dodge the executioner bullet for Georgia.
Another country to watch is Romania, where a politician who advocates for Romania’s interests 1st, has won the 1st round of elections for president.
The EU destroys stability and peace, as NATO does.
Empire Biden can install whoever it wants. Until January 20th. No more wars!
Georgia is better off without the EU and US meddling in its affairs.
And the US is better off meddling with its own affairs.
We should stay the hell out of it. If our government wasn’t so corrupt, it would be easier to dislike Putin.
Just for a short time, trump will turn this POS decision by the deep state commie/fascist/nazis around.

According to Duran’s Alex Christoforou the EU stopped Georgia accession talks first on the 30th of October
Before Georgia announced later it would also stop the accession process
If that is true, then this statement from US that Georgia stopped EU accession being undemocratic bla bla bla omits some critical facts.
Maybe they expected it to use it as blackmail and Georgia parliament then pulled the plug.
To be honest can’t blame Georgia for doing so, the EU and US are a bit trigger happy as proven in Ukraine and all to happy to throw Ukrainian bodies in the meat grinder.
Go, Georgia! 👊
The US Ambassador to Georgia is Robin Dunnigan. She has not resigned. David Zalkaliani is the Georgian Ambassador to the USA who did resign. The question is, why did he resign? Was he pressured by the USA to resign in order too cause more problems for the Georgian Dream Party. Or did he resign due to policy differences within GD?
