Dan Scavino Jr is as close a confidant as you can get to President Trump, without being a member of the family. According to a recent Tweet sent by Scavino, President Trump has never considered former HPSCI Chairman Mike Rogers for the position of FBI Director.
[Source]
Dan Scavino would never send this Tweet, without the explicit direction of President Trump telling him to do so. Essentially, this is the soft way for President Trump to tell Mike Rogers and his supporters he is not in the planning.
As stated before, current FBI Director Chris Wray has not resigned, and he has two years left on his term. President Trump cannot fire Chris Wray until he takes office after the inauguration. Therefore, all of the discussion about a new FBI director is essentially moot.
We likely will not know anything about the retention or removal of Christopher Wray, until after President Trump takes office.

If you’re upset about any of these cabinet picks, just remember 15 days ago when we were gripped with anxiety about the vote counting.
You’d have been thrilled to know your future self would be irritated with PRESIDENT ELECT Trump’s picks or the games Washington plays.
All a matter of perspective, and you’d choose this over the Senate greasing through Harris’s picks.
–S. Keshel
Perspective is everything. So true Seth.
You win some.

You lose some.

Make Democracy Fake Again
https://rumble.com/v5l067b-caroline-wren-republicans-have-taken-a-163k-ballot-lead-in-az.html
what is your perspective on the Pam Bondi pick, Seth?
Perplexed and not just with Bondi but like Keshel stated above, I am still grateful we are in a much better place now then we were 2 weeks ago. Being optimistic however doesn’t mean Im going to pretend not to notice things. So no offense to anyone when I point out inconvenient facts.
Sometimes it’s difficult being a Treeper. Guessing most conservatives have no clue about the bureaucratic silos in our government. They think since Trump was elected, everything is hunky dory.
this question was asked of Seth Keshel. Lordy.
Is it progress to go after the Deep State with an average, compromised attorney?
Weren’t Harriet Hageman and Atkinson available?
Partisans only care about election fraud when their candidate loses.
Anyone emotionally invested in political outcomes announces themselves emotionally.
Ex-D.C. Cop Michael Fanone: Election-Denying Kari Lake Is a ‘Piece of Sh!t’
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/ex-d-c-cop-michael-004348678.html
We may only have this one opportunity to fix this before the next election. Only grassroots patriots with a track record of service and results should be considered by Trump to make the necessary reforms to close the election fraud loopholes deliberately created by the UniParty. I nominate Seth Keshel for a lead role in this mandatory endeavor. If the wrong people are installed to manage this essential and most important task, I wont be optimistic. Bondi is not MAGA.
Gallegos can’t string a sentence together to express a cogent thought. Another steal. California call it’s last two house seats yet?
If your state is STILL counting and it feels like the count that never ends, chances are they are counting ballots, not votes.
We need to hold them to counting votes, not ballots. Ballots are easy to come by. Votes are submitted by eligible voters who have been verified.
Some races may be headed to a recount.
Remember, the recount is only able to confirm if they have the physical ballots that match the reported results.
If there were illegally submitted ballots, they will be recounted along with the rest.
The other factor is whether or not you can meaningfully observe and verify yourself that all the numbers and ballots match.
If you can’t see anything, who knows if they match. Observers are 100% required.
I am hopeful the Trump DOJ will investigate the election criminality in Arizona and the rightful winners get to take office.
Partisanry is about the most ignorant thing someone could integrate into their identity
Yes, that is true but it is so damn frustrating to know Trump ran as MAGA, and now we have Rubio at State and Bondi as AG. Neither sound MAGA to me.
Why risk it all for this? I’ll just trust he knows what he’s doing.
just learned that Bondi is a great friend to Anna Navaro from “the hateful view” and that they “drank” together a LOT in Miami, Fl” … always good to know.
Sounds like a couple of lushes? This isn’t a good look at all – Navarro, I can easily understand based merely upon observing her, she’s an easy book to read. But Bondi has been in key positions of power and decision making, where poor judgment can easily derail that kind of career. Alcohol is almost always involved with poor judgment. I’d be interested to know how long ago these two were rubbing up next to bars together.
I completely agree! I posted something similar yesterday on the Pam Bondi thing when so many CTH commenters were second guessing Trump for appointing her. I would also much rather have a Gaetz or a Paxton than her but I’m still a lot happier with what we got on Nov 5th than what we could have had. Here’s most of my post from yesterday:
So here’s my take on the Bondi nomination:
It’s an imperfect world and an imperfect President-elect, so in those moments I’m inclined to angst over her selection as AG, I think, what if this were 17 days ago and some Gypsy seer with a crystal ball and tarot cards asked me,
“If I tell you that Trump will win the election tomorrow and bring with him a host of good people to root out the massive corruption in our federal government and restore free speech…how would you feel?”
I’d say, “Are you kidding, Gypsy lady? I would feel wonderful! Like the weight of the world had been lifted off my shoulders, knowing that my granddaughter will grow up in a free America!”
Then the Gypsy says, “But what if the President-elect screwed up with his choice of Attorney General…how would you feel then?”
And I’d answer, “That would be too bad…but I’d still feel pretty damn good to have such a President as Donald Trump back in the White House after the hell of the Biden/Kamala years!”
So that’s the way I feel…pretty damn good! And I’m not going to let one not-so-great cabinet pick spoil that!
True. Fair point.
So true.
Do us a great favor Seth, please keep posting this as often as you deem necessary.
You have nailed it, perfectly!
Thank you!
One of the many things I despise about the uniparty is they promise milkshakes if we vote for them. When they win, we get a cup of cauliflower blended with spit, and when we complain they cry, “There’s no pleasing you people!”
If there are no grand juries empaneled by about April, allowing for time for US Attorneys to get up and running, we’ll know where this is all going.
The second marker is how she responds – and this will probably happen by June – when the uniparty demands she recuse herself from investigating some random fake charge against Trump and appoint a special counsel.
The AG is the only wall defending PDJT from the Heart of Darkness. Everyone here is right to be very, very, concerned.
This isn’t some useless cabinet secretary whose job is to count trees in Idaho.
Couldn’t agree more!
We can do much better than Mike Rogers for FBI Director. He is a Swamp Creature.
Right. So glad to hear Trump never considered him for FBI director. I am very relieved. 😊 I am hoping it will be Kash Patel.
Trump may well remain tight lipped about that appointment, possibly even through the inauguration. Trump certainly already knows who he wants for that critical position.
I did read that Wray wants to keep his position. 🙄 Not a chance of that happening.
Of course he wants to remain, there’s more shredding that needs to be done. Can you imagine the years of damning files accumulated that would convict not criminals but our own government.
Erase, bleach, shred, hammer, destroy, I bet they are working overtime. My wish is for all of it to be caught on the very system they seek to damage.
The shredding of files and evidence concerns me. They are likely doing exactly that… now.
Just in!
Russian hacker virus destroys EVERY FIB computer record everywhere and every piece of paper was accidentally shredded!
ALSO Russian hacker virus bricked ever FIB cellphone too.
Really truly!
IT’S ALL GONE!
Hoping for Kash, as well.
Yup
WWDJD?
What Would Don Jr do?
Maybe somebody in Trump’s orbit can drop an unsubstantiated rumor that Wray had sex with underage girls.
That’ll get him to resign.
Well, that play seems to work great with everyone else.
Not sure it works with dems.
Why lie when everyone already knows he prefers little boys
I would be careful who you piss-off in jest…
I was under the impression that Wra’s organization protected those who did that, like those who abused the gymnasts.
Only protect Swamp members in good standing.
Don’t need Wray to resign. He will be swiftly fired and replaced soon after Jan 20.
Wray has been an abysmal FBI director who overtly serves the administrative state not the citizens of our country.
That has always been the point and purpose of the FBI.
Yes … “but the times they are a changin’.”
All the way back to when Donovan of the OSS recommended J. Edgar Hoover to Franklin Roosevelt.
no one would believe one of these old fossils in swishington DC has sex with underage GIRLS.
I understand that Wray is great friends with Chris Christie.
And I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that Christie enjoys undercooked pastries.
So who knows about Wray. That one degree of separation is damning if you ask me.
Did I do it right?
Wray was Beluga Boy’s general counsel when Christie was NJ gov.
it is the way of the 21st century…censure via inuendo?
They weren’t ready for that? The RINOs don’t care.
I wonder sometimes if we don’t have an FBI director nominee only because Trump wants to fire Wray himself. i.e. He doesn’t want to give Wray an excuse to resign to avoid being fired. Or, Trump is hoping Wray resigns and saves everyone the drama.
Personally, I want to twist the knife. That guy deserves to have his replacement introduced to America before he is even officially fired. That would be humiliating and a fitting punishment for that smug jackass. And it would send the proper message to the FBI “rank and file” which is that justice is coming.
Winning!
The Big Ugly was always going to be such.
A simple fact that has escaped 99.9% of the x-verse.

If true…Hallelujah!
After Wray is gone, whomever is named FBI director must have the temerity to put McCord’s, Weissman’s, Eisen’s, and Elias’ heads on pikes. They must be Plouffed
I see what you did there, and I like it. I’m stealing it.
Amen and Amen! “Plouffed” a new intransitive verb I love it!!! Excellent!!!
Wow love it!!! Good one Clay!!!!
Grandma Covfefe would have loved “Plouffed”! 😀

I sure miss her….. 🙁
Me too. Those days from the way back were great.
me too
I would like to think his termination letter is already written, signed and dated 1/20/25.
Thank you Jesus! This guy is a bum.
Anyway we can contact Scavino about our concerns regarding Bondi and Wise??
And what really happened with Gaetz?
I suggest you go read the articles with the leaked ethics report. Right or wrong (about it being leaked), the info would manifest itself at the hearing.
He would have to explain why he sent $200, $300, $400 dollar Venmo’s to the account of the person who said he paid her for sex and to buy drugs with memo’s like Joy, Hi, Love you and wrote a check to recipient “Cash” for $750 with a memo of “tuition reimbursement”.
He would’ve been crushed at the nomination hearing. He knew it once it leaked and withdrew his name.
The same people who came forward to make accusations for the ethics committee would’ve came forward at the Senate hearing.
This isn’t his Venmo account, it’s hers with incoming money from him. Much different than Kavanaugh and weirdo who accused Trump of doing things to her in a dressing room. These two can’t prove they were in the same place, but Gaetz’s accuser has electronic receipts with amounts and memos that fall in line with the “services”, especially for someone that is not a “friend” or “girlfriend”.
Was Gaetz set-up back then as a tea party like new congressional rep: I would say most definitely, but that doesn’t matter. His own actions then resulted in his downfall today.
thx Eric, your comment is the most informative I’ve read
and a concise summary, at that
No prob Nim, you’re one of my favorites!!!
I commented a lot on it yesterday after I watched the video linked below. I was a huge fan of Gaetz and was looking forward to him cleaning house, but he took himself down with very poor choices years ago. Worse, is he probably blew off anything (not knowing what they had) and told Trump and team it didn’t happen leading Trump to scramble at the last minute to find a puzzle piece.
If people want to watch a middle of the road person explain showing the ABC article (it shows the Venmo transactions and checks) it’s here:
This thread explains a lot. https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1859748387291107797.html. Gaetz ( as well as probably 80% of Congress ) was probably using an escort service like BackPage or Sugar Daddy. Why are men so weak.
Did you hear the one about Bill Clinton and the female intern…
Nevermind…
Trust God. Fear not.
Power + ego, to be a good man requires humility before God. Gaetz knew all this would come out, AND he rankled everyone with McCarthy’s ousting. Doin’ 18 year old stupid moves at age 35.
Also, after reading the accounts linked on citizen free press in the past day or so and on the Daily Mail, in 2017 as a Congressman he was attending sex parties, having sex with the same 17 year old twice (one time with a third woman) in the same night and doing illegal drugs. What was he thinking? His father is rich and was in politics- grandfather too -so you’d think there would be some wisdom passed down.
Apparently, the “friend” who set him up was the county tax collector and he also was the one who issued drivers licenses, so the minor had a Florida drivers license saying she was 18 which is why the fbi couldn’t prosecute Gaetz.
If Gaetz had gotten in,the deep state would have had all this and who knows maybe more against him to use whenever they chose. He was very vulnerable to blackmail and possibly still is.
BTW, who is vetting these selections????
I’ll also go out on the limb and say he’s done. He won’t hold any public office because he lied when he said nothing happened.
yes, having sex in the open on casino or card tables with two women … his goose was cooked
Shouldn’t the Trump Team have known about this before he was appointed AG? I thought they were all vetted.
McConnell chose Bondi.
I think Trump made a tactical error in rushing his appointments. Just like with Rogers, it would have been useful to wait and see who the media pushes for each of the key appointments. It would have helped Trump flush out people who he doesn’t recognize as being DS flunkies
The media has been pushing Rogers. That’s why we were all distressed.
And who supplies the “media” with all the MIS-information they get to talk endlessly about for days?
GOVERNMENT!
That’s one bright spot for the day.
So this means we all had another panic attack for … … … nothing?
Not ALL by a long shot.
From now on we need to wait until we hear it straight from Trump himself. How many times are people going to fall for the old Grandpa pull my finger trick? Geez!.
Folks need to apply the 48 hour rule. To many have an emotional knee jerk reaction.
Dan Bongino has been saying all week, that he KNOWS there has been an online “influence operation” to push Mike Rogers, and denigrate Kash Patel.
He has been saying for the last few days that it’s an OP.
The FBI doesn’t want Patel for obvious reasons, so I’m glad that Dan Scavino has clarified that Mike Rogers was NEVER under consideration.
Pretty much all blogs, including CTH, are trying to influence people.
These branches have certainly influenced me, but from the intelligent and enlightening comments as much as, or more, than the articles themselves.
❤️
More perspectives are far better than few.
It is very hard for me to believe that the Trump team does not read CTH. They must. Doesn’t mean they will go with all the recommendations here. They won’t. They do know more IMO than we do.
Sundance has produced exceptionally excellent investigative analysis on many serious matters that PDJT and his team will soon face. It’s simply a valuable resource. It really is. Anyone can see that IF they read what Sundance has produced here. Anyone.
would be smart if they read SunDance. Excellent deep dives into the silos, the deep state, the people who would REALLY Make America Great Again ….
And pretty much all blogs, including CTH have narrative control operatives trying to disrupt and confuse the audience also. 👀
yep, those who don’t want to hear a differing opinion. That is not what SunDance chooses or he would have said “only like minded peeps get to post” I thank him for that. We are not a hive.
Dan is not my cup a tea. He’s self righteous IMHO and acts like a know it all. I stopped watching him a long time ago. I don’t think he is in the know at all. He’s just got a channel, like so many influencers
Which Dan are you referring to—Scavino (sp?) OR Bongino?
Bongino …Scavino is THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bongino has been doing a lot of investigation into the 2 assassination attempts on PDJT. That makes him valuable in that position + he is a true MAGA Trump supporter.
Trump knows, obviously, that the head of secret service that protects his life is a critical position.
Trump chose Bongino bc he trusts Bongino… and he knows exactly why he trusts Bongino.
in his position as an influencer? I don’t think POTUS has put Bongino in any position or did I miss that? He is a Maga influencer, I agree. He might be great at Secret Service, it was after all his first job I think. He’d be great. That big tall guy with Trump who has been on his detail for forever has been floated as the top guy as well.
Yes. Trump has picked Bongino to head the SS.
First job was a patrolman in the 75th Precinct of the NYPD.
Even knowing as little as I do about the S.S. I think Bongino is the most obvious choice possible, and a good one.
An op administered by Murdock at Fox news.
Good.
😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣 😂 😃 😀
All the concern and claims by so many when the ‘news’ broke that it was factual, and the ‘sky was falling.’
Some of us tried and tried to warn that it was a claim by unconfirmed sources by known IC MSM outlets and not to believe it until it was confirmed.
Moreover, stated and/or asked about what Trump had said, and that was replied by almost non-existent responses of 🦗 🦗.
💥 💥 💥 💥 💥
😏 😏 😏
It was pushed by Newsweek. That is all anyone needed to know to realize this wasn’t going anywhere. But we have so many concerned trolls at CTH.
I did not see anyone HERE say it was CONFIRMED. Period. There was an overwhelming response that it would be another boneheaded move if it were true. Glad it was put to rest by Dan Scavino. Also, odd that Dan Bongino never addressed the “online campaign” until Trump said it was not happening. Seems he didn’t know that it wasn’t happening, he waited until the real Dan said it was not true and jumped on the “online campaign” tide. If Dan B knew it was an “online social media” campaign how come he waited till today to tamp it down. Again….. common sense is useful
BS. You were constantly in hysterics about it.
Message to BK and wvgal57….
LET IT GO!
Agreed.
See message below…
I comply. Glad you saw fit to step in and stop the nonsense.
and I’m sorry I get mad when SunDance is dragged. I just can’t help it. I’m sorry. SunDance is the most decent of blogs and the adms here are great.
For the record….I nailed BK too.
Ad Rem – Good time to say I thank you for your note in this thread directed to me re that bin repository, and I replied late yesterday. Thanks for all you do.
A consistent voice of calm and reason, err keyboard lol 🙂
(argh. Thought this was the “open” thread sorry…)
Exactly!
The IC spin factory on full display!
They fished 🎣 and tried to spin 🛞.
Again.🤦♀️
It’s not going to be Mike Rogers… it’s Lindsey Graham! 💅
It might be worth getting him out of the Senate…and then firing him! Mr “I’m a gonna”.
😃 😀 😄
I hear you. At least with you, I know it’s sarcastic humor.
Thanks for making me smile.
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
It’s not going to be Lindsey Graham.
It’s going to be Matt Gaetz!
A little Friday hopium laughing gas to dispel the acrimony running rampant here lately.
Whew! So relieved to hear this
Don’t care about Rogers. As FBI director he could have been contained. However, Bondi as AG is a big mistake. Why can’t President Trump see this post as top importance for the loyalist of the individual. This post keeps crippling his administration.
You and many others here seem to forget that recent SCOTUS ruling that the President is the Executive Branch, and that no agency of the Executive Branch has authority over him. As such, his official acts include expecting the Attorney General to carry out his lawful orders. No one there is going to cripple his administration. Anyone who attempts to do so will be summarily fired by President Trump.
I sure hope you are correct.
I too, am very concerned about Bondi’s efficacy.
Hope you’re right but President Trump has a track record picking incorrectly for AG.
So you’re expecting that President Trump has learned nothing from his first term?
Not if Boni is the best he can do
Probably true, but still… why Bondi? I gotta believe that if Trump knew all the details of what she did to George, then he’d have second thoughts. But if he DOESN’T know those details that’s also a bit concerning. No?
As I said yesterday, are we going to let one case almost 13 years ago override an otherwise stellar career as a prosecutor? We have Republican Senators who have confirmed Democrat cabinet and judicial nominees that have committed more egregious actions and rulings than this.
Rogers would have been a disaster. Bimbo Bondi, no hope for her to do anything of relevance to what the hope was. She will be busy primping.
Geez…you are susceptible to hyperbole/strawman assertions!
She can’t do anything relative to a hope!
Well that certainly “qualifies” as an expert claim that narrows down the possibilities. Your hope, my hope or Trump’s?
Catch your breath! I get the elevated pulse. Caught myself in that state of mind yesterday – for a minute or so. It passed and I got on with business and interpreting what is going on as best one can do if not an insider.
In God I have faith. In track records, well they speak for themselves.
What track record? You mean that Trump had appointed 2 bad AG’s? So your logic is that if Trump had 2 disastrous picks as heads of the DOJ, there is a bigger chance that he has learned nothing than if he had failed only once… Sounds backwards to me, especially when we are talking about Trump.
Trumps loyalty is his worst fault IMHO. He’s old school that believe loyalty over qualifications. That is IMHO. I’ll qualify all my remarks with that now
Rogers was not floated by “sources close to the Trump camp”. It was “floated”, or maybe you could say, “dictated” to Trump by the same evil GOP Senators who ensured that the AG would be Sessions or Barr, and that the new FBI director would be Ray.
Hardball.
Street fighting.
Bondi/Rogers is total capitulation, before the fight even started.
Rogers is out.
Bondi is unthinkable.
She will be a direct report to Trump. If she pulls a Sessions/Barr, if she even looks left or right, fire her a**, and send J.D. over, or Trump takes the Con himself, directing the Justice Deputies personally. (J.D. may be needed for Defense, if/when the GOP Senate rejects Hegseth. Neither Trump or Vance need Senate confirmation.
Mr. President, start fighting like its UFC cut-throat.
I’m counting on it.
IMO Gaetz was the “sacrificial lamb.”
Hegseth is great for the DOD post. I believe he will be confirmed.
My guess is that pretty much all of Trump’s picks will be confirmed. We’ll see.
This is the EXACT same M.O. of the McConnell Senate of 2017, which attempted to destroy Trump before he ever sat his cabinet. Instead of trying to help a GOP President fulfill his priorities, as expressed to the voters, the Senate is trying to punish him, questioning EVERY nomination, airing grievances directly to the press.
The first two years of Trump’s Presidency, he was in total retreat because of McConnell/Ryan.
It’s happening again. It’s not like they’re horse-trading (i.e. AG for SECDEF). If Trump doesn’t have HIS AG, then the DOJ owns him. He’s in full retreat. Whoever is advising Trump, that gave him Bondi, is inherently EVIL. Not “mistaken”. Not “misjudged”. Trump was poorly, horrible served.
I’ve seen this “movie” before in 2017, it was ghoulish. Though, this time I think it ends in a civil war.
I don’t think anyone “gave him Bondi”. She has worked with Trump for the last 4 years or so. He knows her better than anyone here. It’s why he trusts her.
Question? Did he fire any woman in his last administration.
Omarosa.
Has Dan Scavino said anything of note about the Gaetz nomination and withdrawal and about Bondi replacing Gaetz? I only see Scavino’s posts as they appear here from time to time but it sounds like he has an inside seat to the decisions being made and I would be interested in knowing more about what he thinks.
The same loser GOP senators that confirmed Merrick Garland, Lloyd Austin, Rachel Levine, and Ketanji Jackson (all products of a rigged election) want you to know Trump’s cabinet picks are just unacceptable.
For added info…… Comey wasn’t fired until May 9th 2017.
That won’t be the case this time with Wray.
Trump actually made a big tado about keeping him. Remember he went over there to the dept and “shook” the sorry sob’s hand. All while Comey KNEW he was being spied on.
Wray must go immediately. We must have a nominee who is battle tested .. i.e. Paxton, Patel. Accept no less.
I would keep Wray on long enough to call him into the Oval office to answer questions in private like How many chs on January 6? What were you looking for in the MAL raid? What did you find? Who collided with you from the doj? Etc.
No can’t say because it’s under investigation. No refusal because it’s classified. Any refusal to answer is cause for arrest for obstruction.
Then call in the next guy.
End of the day give them a ride on Air Force 1 as far as MAL, and from their a hop to Gitmo to await trial.
There is a cabal starting WWIII problem we need to be concerned about and time for that Bondi woman to be reconsidered.
I respectfully disagree that it’s a “moot” point, SD.
Naming a new Director sets the tone and political cadence of the incoming administration.
The ten year thing with the FBI Director is flexible. Obama extended Mueller’s term two years if I recall correctly. They serve at the pleasure of the prez.
Trump could keep the DC and media zone in perpetual panic by naming some fire-breathing, anti-leftist considerations on a weekly basis until he takes the oath, fire or pre-fire Wray and just move on.
Make them deal with it. Trump won.
The fake-noose-cess-pool, is trying to make itself relevant, with fake-fire-alarm-pull.
That’s how they’re dealing with Orange Man Mandate.

From
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14115405/The-View-Sunny-Hostin-THREE-legal-notes-Matt-Gaetz.html
relevant quote:
On Thursday the panel [The freaking View] also discussed Trump’s new AG pick, former Florida AG Pam Bondi, who they deemed ‘dangerous.’
‘Pam Bondi, I believe she’s a dangerous pick because she supported Trump’s false election claims,’ Hostin said.
‘She was involved in the efforts to overturn the results and so that is now the person that’s going to be chief law enforcement.
But Ana Navarro stepped in, claiming that she knows Bondi and the lawyer is not a kook.’
‘I don’t want to ruin her reputation with MAGA people but Pam Bondi and I hung out a lot when she was attorney general of Florida and she would come to Miami,’ Navarro said.
‘We drank a lot together. I liked her a lot. She’s not a kook. What’s a little election denialism between friends when …. Listen, everything in life is relative.
Yeah, well President Ronald Reagan had a few beers with Democrat Speaker Foley. So what?
Tip O’Neal?
You’re right. Wrong speaker.
Never happened. Urban legend.
again, you are known by the company you keep. Bondi and Navarro….big “drinking” buddies. How much you wanna bet this is the prelude for some big dump on Pam Bondi. She didn’t give out that info for kindness, Navarro is the devil personiffied
Well… I’m… hoping that Bondi merely “played” Navarro for some strategic reason. 🙄 🤷♀️
do you know if she campaigned any with them this go around? I didn’t watch all the rallies, real life intervened. Would love to know if she did
Sigh…well that’s really awful to read about Bondi/Navarro.
Anybody who really thinks Biden got 81 million votes legitimately is a monumental moron . The election was stolen , everybody with a functioning brain knows it.
Biden admitted it himself for God’s sake.
“The Steal” has been carefully planned, as Biden confessed, with thousands of ballots ready to be “discovered” as they are needed.
Whoppi, Oprah and others were nice to PDJT until he decided to run. These people are snakes or compromised. IC handles them.
It seems it might make sense – assuming there’s ‘one righteous person’ in Sodom, to fire Wray 5 minutes after being sworn in and move whomever into the seat as the Acting. And then take his time.
can he move someone else who has been confirmed into that seat? I would expect most of his appointment would be confirmed rather quickly. Could he take a say “Whittaker” from an ambassadorship into the FBI position without a new confirmation hearing.
The rumor of Rogers possible appointment seemed more like an influence ploy by the uniparty than anything else. Of course I thought the same thing when I heard about Rubio as SoS so you never know. All I know is after the Pam Bondi news I was relieved to hear the tone of this denial. Sounds like it’s not gonna happen even after inauguration. Thank God!
Pam Bondi isnt going to reform shit
maybe a new makeup room
MMMMEEEEOOOWWWW!!!
Great news!
Btw, Gaetz is hot for Miss Bondo Bondi:
“Pam and I worked closely together when she was Florida’s Attorney General and I chaired Criminal Justice in the state house.
She’s a proven litigator, an inspiring leader and a champion for all Americans.”
Mr Zimmerman was unavailable for comment.
I don’t think there is any doubt Wray will be fired as soon as it is legal to do so. And also know he knows this. That isn’t moot. And I didn’t have leaker talking in my ear
I thought Wray announced he is going to retire?
Mitch is smiling. He has his posse. Not sure recess appointments are on the table anymore. The judge trading that went down in the last 24 hours is really to Mitch’s benefit, more than anything else.
Apparently, IF one House of Congress, ie., House, wants to recess but the other, ie., Senate, does not, then the POTUS can legally step in to … recess the entire Congress.
Johnson has been traveling w/the Trump Team quite a bit… so I’m… hoping that Johnson is on board with Trump’s desired recess appointments.
Most other recent presidents — 41, 42, 43, 44 — got many recess appointments. Clinton got over 100. Barry got over 30.
well lets hope “moot” doesn’t mean Wray stays. Talk about uproar.
Somewhat off topic, but
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/gop-senators-hand-mitch-mcconnell-power-derail-trumps/
This is the real story. Democrats are gleeful. I sincerely hope that PDJT can find constitutional means to circumnavigate this sumbitch.
McConnell has outlived his usefulness. Let him try to derail the Trump agenda and see how long he can withstand the public pressure and outcry. The same applies to those useful idiot Senators supporting him. Many are up for reelection in 2026 – 20 of them. Elon has lots of money available for strong primary candidates.
What many of these RINO senators don’t realize is that President Trump is going to treat them as much of an enemy as the Democrats.
and if Joe Biden is not fit to be POTUS McConnell is also as unfit. The guy has SERIOUS dementia and or/stroke problems.
I can not wait until Trump gets to fire Wray!
He will resign first.
Rumor floated by fake news liberal press…just like the “hacked” gaetz files. We coming for you deep state, we coming for you. LNL…
Hang on, if DJT just abolishes the bureau, as discussed and cited in a previous thread. There will be no need for a director of that three letter. There might be a new kind of YAF organization upholding the rule of law and scrutinizing previous indiscretions. lol
I just read on Gateway Pundit that Kash Patel might be Trump’s pick as deputy FBI director. Is that a senate confirmed role?
Could President Trump be setting Patel up for moving into the director spot when Trump fires Wray? I understand that once someone has been Senate confirmed for one role, they can be relocated to another more easily???
Enjoy the show.
So Rogers was never an issue.
But a great distraction from Mitch getting appointed to the catbird seat.
Remember that time there would be recess appointments because voters gave Trump and the Republicans a mandate?
Turns out it was Podcaster hopium .
In a now-deleted tweet, Jane Mayer of The New Yorker revealed McConnell’s declaration at a Washington gathering: “There will be no recess appointments.”
well, if Wray’s SSN ends in an odd number maybe he’ll be out with the first batch of bureaucrat layoffs 😀
Most of Trump’s nominations has so far been people who worked on or supported him during the campaign.
Who’s next in line from his close orbit that qualifies for FBI Director?
We…the citizens of the USA…are totally screwed by the wrongheaded disregard paid to the House as constituted until January, and as it will be constituted for the first couple months of the new Congress. Gaetz should not have resigned forthwith…unless he was truly as guilty as a dog in an alley; any appointment of a sitting congressman should have been staggered and slow-walked after close analysis of the various vacancy protocols. We will have a Democrat majority…at least in tenor if not in fact…for the next 3 months!
Trump’s ‘baby boy’ needs to be sent back to playpen…his ego is damaging our country!
I think it’s a very safe assumption that Wray gets the insta-sack the nanosecond that PDJT’s final skin cell lifts from that Bible on January 20. Gone. The FBI under his watch has been more Gestapo-like than ever. Federal political jackboots going after good Americans. Even J. Edgar is rolling in his tiara.
We may be lucky enough to hear from PDJT before January 20 who the replacement will be. I would not be surprised if he did so. Or if he waited to the very last moment to announce it, to reduce the window for sabotage and attack. That makes more sense to me.
It’s ok that we discuss these things in advance. It’s like fantasy football for politicos.
This is a very different Administration and transition than 2016. Trump is no longer a wide-eyed freshman President. Rogers can light up a dark field at night; there was no chance he was ever being picked for this job (or any other IMO). Now he can go and complain to the media alongside Nimrata.
“Seth” has been around a long time. And outside a few differences on points of view, seldom gets ‘flamed.’
Why? Because there is no reason for it.
When you have to pick from 120 different buckets of horse manure, and some of them stink more than the others, you still get horse manure. Some just stink more than others.
When I am faced with something that confounds and seems truly bizarre, I take a break and give it time to gel a bit. Most times the driving force behind it does emerge. Not always but most times. I am applying this to the Bondi situation.
I read much, I listen much but I don’t KNOW enough about the backstory. So I choose to watch.
What I do think is that Gaetz played hard as a single guy in a world of snakes. He left himself open for stuff and came to the realization that it wasn’t going to work out and pulled the cord.
All of these folks appear to have something in their background that folks like to focus on. I sure am glad I am not judged by my own mistakes of yesteryear. Trust me, Gaetz, Hegseth and Bondi have nothing on the things I have done and survived. There is only the good lord above to thank that I am still alive today.
No, I am not a candidate
Or nominee. But, in my grow kids eyes, I am both.
You win the post of the day, in my humble opinion.
Matt Gaetz played around like the son of a powerful state political family while a younger man. Because he was. And it apparently came back and bit him on the keister. Was it worse than many in higher offices? Probably not.
Could the incoming Administration have fought harder to get him in? Maybe. But maybe it was Gaetz’s own decision to step aside. He hasn’t left the arena; he has only left the running for that important post.
BUT THE FACT THAT TRUMP PICKED HIM FIRST SPEAKS VOLUMES TO THE FORMER’S EVOLUTION INTO A FIGURE OF GREAT HISTORICAL CONSEQUENCE.
We all keep dancing around that fact. And the significance of that fact. Because that is the greater point here. He first picked a Gaetz this time, not a weakling Sessions. This is not 2016 again. And yes, we got stuck with the Bondi consolation prize. But there are competing voices on Bondi and whether she will support the agenda. I’ll hold judgment on her for a little longer. Roger Stone is a smart guy, too. As smart as our very smart host here in some respects.
And at the end of the day, she is only one tree, in a vastly larger forest. Yes. A big tree. Maybe even the biggest tree. But not the forest. We are winning the forest, as long as we keep fighting for it.
Stop focusing on a single tree here and there.
As our esteemed host intelligently shows us the knots and weak bark of the various trees in great detail, let us not lose sight of the greater forest. It’s a great, hopeful forest.
Trump picked Gaetz first. That is a sea change in thinking. Serious MAGA has finally arrived. And we have the fight of our lives ahead of us. We are up against demons. They are not going down easily.
There’s a reason and a consequence that Donald J. Trump never smoked, drank, or took drugs. It kept him clean, and closer to the Creator perhaps. His one self-admitted weakness? Women. And that is not too far removed from that of Matt Gaetz. Yes, PDJT is imperfect. Aren’t we all?
And I can think of far worse personal failings in this world. Goodness knows, I am far from perfect. And I don’t think anyone else is, either.
So don’t expect perfection. Only a couple entities in the history of this Earth were perfect. Our Lord and the Blessed Mother were not on the ballot this past November. It’s not going to be a perfect Administration. That’s the reality of life.
And that damn bullet missed. Almighty God heard our prayers, and nudged it millimeters away. We won on November 5. Trump won. Humanity won. As long as we fight this through. And fight we must.
We are now just aligning the forces for the next steps of battle. And they won’t be perfect. Resist lamenting the imperfections.
But so far, they are a world better than in 2016.
And no, to Mr. Tom, I was thinking this way long before Steve Bannon was. These seeds of national, and human, rescue were planted well over 30 years ago. Long before MAGA, there was the Tea Party. And before that, other movements of ideology and national pride. They had the names of Buchanan and Perot. The contemporary antidotes to the thousand points of light and NAFTA and the sacrifice of a Christian America on the unholy alter of satanic globalism.
Because you see, this has always been at its heart a spiritual struggle. For a very long time now. Maybe back to the dawn of time. At least that is what the Bible says.
And each of us is being assessed in Heaven on how we respond under the pressure. Here and now. Live your best life. Great words to live by. Live and fight with the optimism shown by our Lord. And that which PDJT echoes every day, under tremendous, constant, diabolical attack.
Listen to our host’s detailed exposition of the various trees and foliage. But keep your eyes on the forest. And why we are here, now.
We can win this. And we are winning it.
Now let’s get on with winning this war, and seizing back our Nation, and the world, from these satanic ghouls.
But you win the post of the day here. Smart and with perspective. A big hat tip to you.
Have yourself a great weekend.
Gaetz WAS ONE VOTE SHORT , that’s it . He should have never dropped out .
