In combination with the nomination of Senator Marco Rubio to the State Dept., this sets the stage for a Senate situation where the upper chamber may attempt to derail the Gaetz nomination, yet Florida Governor Ron DeSantis could then appoint him to be the replacement U.S. Senator from Florida; thus, returning an angry MOAB back into the silo that derailed him.

CTH knew Main Justice was the target of greatest transition discussion when we wrote this. However, I had no idea the strategy would include an Attorney General nomination of such severity the officials inside the DOJ would likely begin to self deport.
If Matt Gaetz gets through the nomination process, there will be a mass exodus from Main Justice.
Within the dynamic of the decision-making, obviously it was the targeting of President Trump and his allies by the DOJ that led to such a severe response from President-elect Donald Trump.
The Main Justice Lawfare effort against President Trump and anyone in/around his immediate orbit, has been relentless for the past eight years. From Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, George Papadopoulos, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell all the way to the 1,500 protesters from January 6, 2021, the attacks from within the DOJ and their appointed Special Counsels have been relentless. Gaetz is the response.

The next several weeks and months are going to be epic as this battle carries out throughout the Executive and Legislative branches. Additionally, I would be remiss if I did not note that Gaetz represents the biggest, irresistible bait for the Intelligence Community (IC) to watch being dragged in front of them. It’s prolly too much to ask that Gaetz gather enough evidence to finger the FBI/CIA for setting the bombs in downtown Nashville, and near the Capitol, that were blamed on Trump supporters. Previous, along with proof that they helped plan and coordinate the J6 staged riot, should be enough to classify one or both agencies domestic violent extremist groups, round them up and lock in prison.

When Trump takes office, obviously, there are many incredible policies to hit running. However, one very important injustice to me is the persecution of the J6ers. These people were so abused that I get very angry when I think about them. I bought the book Ashli, and I had to put it down mid-way through because I become so incensed and angry. IMO, with a few troublemaker exceptions, the vast majority of the J6ers are true patriots that came to DC to hear Trump’s speech because of their concern about an unfair election. Unfortunately, the process of arrest, jail, bail, months of anguish, cost of lawyers, trial, convictions, and prison time for many can’t be undone but Trump can pardon them. I read the statistics of the arrests and also that the FBI ramped up arrests this year. I don’t want retribution or revenge, but I do want each and every case of lawfare against Trump, GOP, Christians, and conservatives examined with a microscope and where a statue can be proven violated, I want arrest, indictments, trials, and appropriate punishment. No more “for the good of the country” we must move on, no, for the good of the country and survival of the country we must have accountability. In addition, I want the FACE act repealed and those convictions overturned, and pardons given. This law is nothing more than a license to attack Christians and conservatives. Shame on the GOP for not doing this already. Of course there is the border, inflation, the economy, foreign policy, national security, policing and safety, and deportation of illegal criminals. This is a view of “the department” as an independent entity. That view is extraconstitutional. The Justice Department, like ALL of the federal departments is just the construct through which the elected Executive accomplishes his goals. All of the federal departments are constitutionally subservient to the elected Executive. That is the only way they merit legitimacy in a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people”, through the Executive that was elected “by the people”. They cannot be “of the people” and “for the people”, if they are not “by the people”.
Bottom line: their corrupt grand view is not our constitutional grand view.

Sometimes the remedy has to be radical and severe in order to save the patient. Rip the band-aid off and clean the wound. It hurts, it’s not pretty, but it’s the only way to start healing.
We have been in an abusive relationship with our government for most of my life (77 years), and the cure isn’t going to be easy or pleasant. It’s going to hurt, but believe me, we will all be better in the long run.
I, for one, am excited in hopes we will finally get true transparency from this government; the good, the bad and the ugly. I want to know the unvarnished Truth about so many things:
1) Did we really win WWII? Why were so many German scientists embedded in government agencies if we did win;
2) What really happened to JFK? Did the CIA really murder our President?
3) What really happened in Las Vegas? Who really planned that “event” and why?
4) Why has the FBI set up so many internal targets – Parkland shooting, the nightclub shooting, the CA shooting, etc., and how were they radicalized? 5) Did we really blow up the Nord-Stream2?
6) Who is really profiting from the war in Ukraine?
7) How has Nancy Pelosi and so many of our Congress members become so rich from being in politics?

I’m not an attorney but one topic I wish we would discuss is indictments & convictions in DC.
We know if Gaetz gets through Senate confirmation, there will be many investigations where IMO crimes were committed. To me that is the easy part.
The hard part is convening truly open grand jury’s in DC to first get an indictment and then the really hard part of getting jurors who are not so anti-Trump in DC (98% liberal) to be able to honestly render a guilty verdict for obvious laws being broken.

The Left crossed the Rubicon two years ago, then were repelled at Rome two weeks ago. They have nowhere to go but Canada where they will have no power, and the same with Mexico which they helped corrupt. They wanted us to live a communist life, not themselves.
Those at the top of a Communist tyranny always expect to live a completely different life from the majority under them.
This is why they spend so much time accusing their critics of being greedy.
Fox and Friends HATES Matt Gaetz ………..wow, they are really stirring the pot and sounding JUST like CNN and MSNBC. I had not turned these shows on until POTUS won but BOY are they trying to DICTATE what POTUS does. Another reason for me to block them out of my show list again.
People in places that violate our 4th Amendment rights every day are freaking out. I’m not saying that, the closet Trump voters in these places are saying that. Even they are afraid of getting fired. It seems Trump is being taken very seriously, probably more seriously then I would dare hope him and his appointments are that effective.
Meanwhile, people have been more emboldened where I work to say what they are thinking.
Can confirm the upper levels of the GS scale believe DOGE is real.
Good. That means that at least they are psychologically prepared if and when it happens in their respective agencies and departments.
Too many upper scale federal employees earn exorbitant salaries that are not at all commensurate with the societal benefits from whatever it is they actually produce. I base that on the personal observations of several family members and close friends who were full time employed by the federal government or as contractors working alongside full time GS-7’s, -10’s, -11’s, -12’s, -13’s, -14’s, and one -15.
The common impression (of my relatives and close friends) was their incredulity at the blatant lack of concern for quality or volume of work, but rather the overwhelming concern about personal status, promotions, office politics, salaries, and paid leave/ vacation. Reading books and knitting are examples of two of the non-work related activities carried on at desks of the employees during working hours at the Social Security complex in Woodlawn MD..
