When I was 10, we lived in a smallish city 500 thousand plus -minus. Anyway Mom was at work, Dad was at work, I walked maybe half a mile to school and back, got home and made myself lunch (whatever I could scrounge in the old fridge) and sometimes boiled a pot of oats. Then it was off to adventures, which on rainy/windy/cloudy days often consisted of an old “flick house” where they showed 2 movies back to back over and over. I remember watching the movie Dual at Diablo – a western that caught my fancy (can’t remember why) 7 times over a 2 day period. Often others were 3 or 4 times. Anyway the “rule” was – “make sure you are home by dark” – that was it. So unless you got home accompanied by the police (or ambulance) nobody really cared, except for your answer – “watching films at the Roxie” O so moving on…….. OK it was back late 60’s or early 70’s, but hey just who has made this world so dangerous now, even I would suffer the horrors if my son did today what I/we all did back then. Amazing, we’re still here and wiser for the experience – I think

In reading various opinion articles on the internet, there is a theory out there that has got me thinking. When considering this election…..has the thought come to mind, that they withheld the cheat in order to “let” PT win? Considering the power they held in all institution……why couldn’t they have produced as many ballots as was necessary?

This is NOT the first time this type of effort has been attempted.
In the FY2018 Federal Budget Proposal submitted by President Trump in March 2017, President Trump’s Wolverines consolidated allot of Executive Branch Agencies, cut redundant Agencies and more. They even went on Fox Business (with Charles Payne) to describe their effort and what was cut as well as consolidated. They also described how in DC Speak, if a budget is NOT increased that equals a CUT because a 10%+ Increase was always wired into every budget line by past administrations (President Trump’s team eliminated the hardwired increase).
The result was the total REJECTION of that budget proposal by the REPUBLICAN Congress. (Ryan and McConnell) as well as subsequent rejections of every budget proposal after 2017 by Pelosi and McConnell and Republican House Minority leader.
So … let’s see what happens this time … because any actions by this new department will have to be reflected in the FY2026 Budget Proposal in March 2025. Plus, as in 2017 those cuts and consolidations will have to survive lawsuits from Democrats and Republicans. On the law suit side, Senator Warren did loose her suit in 2017 when President Trump moved her Consumer Protection piggy bank under the direction of the Secretary of Treasury…so we’ll see what happens.
The budget is one thing. Shutting down unneeded or redundant offices and slashing payrolls is another thing altogether.

So 75% of the Senate voted to ignore the People’s mandate for change and the People’s mandate for supporting President Trump’s agenda. Thune, same as McConnell, represents continuation of the past 3 or more decades of ignoring the People, their own constituents.
And they don’t even have to reveal themselves. Can We the People start a movement to amend the Constitution to take operational rules-making away from the cowards and backstabbers in both the Senate and the House?
