“This was no small thing, to restore a republic after it had fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may have been that our task was impossible. Yet, if we did not try then how would we know it could not be done? And if we did not try, it most certainly would not be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, would have been lost.”
“But I tell you this: We did not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we made with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from this day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”

This totalitarian regime just can’t stop with the political retribution, another 6 AM raid – but they didn’t bother to arrest him:

Just grab everything, go fishing, and hope to find something to use against Trump.
The Trump administration is taking names of those behind it. Guaranteed
Trump taps Matt Gaetz for Attorney General.
NOICE!!!!
https://www.wsj.com/politics/policy/matt-gaetz-attorney-general-trump-fa28c323
I love this pick. He knows how swampy the Swamp is.
I guess Ken Paxton was too MAGA for Donald Trump. Gaetz won’t even be confirmed. The pick of Gaetz makes the Rubio pick look good. At least Rubio will be confirmed.
Thank you for finding that… that’s the video I saw earlier but it was an mp4.
Try as I might, I can’t help but appreciate Massie here.
The truth is Ken Paxton wouldn’t have been confirmed either. Cornyn would have made sure of that.
So Fox is reporting the tech Senate GOP will not confirm Gaetz. Can Trump appoint him through a recess appointment ? And how does that work anyway? Do recess appointments bypass the Senate.
The Senate has to be in recess. During Trump’s first term, Mitch McConnell never recessed the Senate. Even when everybody was at home, they would hold “pro forma” sessions without a quorum.
It has to be in Recess for 10 days. SCOTUS decision.
What was the basis of that decision?
There are 53 GOP Senators. As long as 50 confirmed, Vance can break the tie.
That assumes Gaetz’s nomination even gets hearings, and reaches the floor for a vote.
President Trump can be very persuasive.
Just make him acting AG then. No confirmation for that, I think.
Acting AG’s have no authority and are largely place keepers.
Aw man…. I thought they could do all the things but only for 120 days.

Can JD Vance Be VP and Senate Majority Leader? Charlie Kirk Floats the Idea
https://www.newsweek.com/jd-vance-vice-president-senate-majority-leader-charlie-kirk-1983232
As per the Constitution, the Vice President already presides over the Senate and casts tie breaking votes as needed. When he was Vice President (1789-1797) John Adams was just doing his job. Nothing unusual about that. The Senate Majority/Minority Leader positions came about in the late 1930’s when the parties started to elect their leadership rather than defer to senior members with good oratory skills. Even since then, the VP has sort of taken a back seat.
Hope this link works, it’s a vid of Rep Massie going up an escalator followed by a gaggle of reporters…
GOP Massie says “recess appointments” when asked if GAETZ can get confirmed by the Senate he replies, “He’s the Attorney General. Suck it up!”

CUT CUT THE CORD
♥️
Two things Trump seems to be stressing in his selections – Peace and youth.
I like it.
Yes, giving the next generation their feet in the door of running a nation.
Also military background
I can’t stand that traitor Rubio.
However, I recall that when Hillary was SOS
Obama sent her all over the world on a
consistent basis so he didn’t have to
deal with her treachery
although she was probably doing dirty deeds on his behalf
Hillary spent her time forcing the LBGTXYZ agenda on 3rd world countries in exchange for aid $$$
And abortion ships to the African coasts.
I remember that too, didn’t she visit more countries than any other SOS?
Bill was happy she was away as well.
The hag was tramping around the world on the taxpayers dime shacking down countries for donations to the Clinton Foundation
Had I see your post I would not have tried to say much the same thing. Clinton was an envoy for Clinton is right.
Clinton circled the globe as SoS to advance her own personal interests.
Clinton was doing dirty deeds on behalf of Team Clinton – like Uranium One.
I think that was the quid pro quo to keep the Clinton crime syndicate in line after the election. Otherwise Clinton would have been all over the media telling people how she would do things if she had been elected. Keep in mind, Hillary Clinton was one of – if not the – first to bring up Obama’s birth certificate.
This is an exceptionally good read from Alt-Market.us.
It is not on the economy but rather a treatise on evil and is titled, Remember Peanut: A Treatise On Evil And Why The State Killing Of A Squirrel Matters So Much
FTA,
“I have to say, when it comes to my pets I take a hard line position: They are a part of my family. Hurt my pets and I’ll hurt you. I don’t care what the law says. I don’t care about your rationale. Retribution is coming.
I think there’s a lot of people out there that agree with this sentiment and most of them are conservative. There is also clearly an element of government overreach here that made the death of Peanut a catalyst for political debate between conservatives and progressives over state power. Leftists love the state and defend it blindly. Conservatives are suspicious of the state and seek to contain it.”
“There are very evil people in the world and the state often colludes with those people to destroy good things. Their goal is to seek out any and all goodness in the world and suffocate it. And this is what has so many people upset about a pet squirrel.”
https://alt-market.us/remember-peanut-a-treatise-on-evil-and-why-the-killing-of-a-squirrel-matters-so-much/
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/p-nut-the-squirrel-was-marked-for-death-and-decapitation-from-the-start-as-rabies-test-results-reveal-tragic-twist/ar-AA1tYeo1
The excuse for killing P’Nut was that he bit an animal control officer. Now state records reveal that the state planned to kill him and Fred days before they even raided the place. Killing was scheduled before the raid.
Beat me to it.
I agree…
Exceptional
Thank you, ma’am!
👍🏻 😘
There is no human emotion in them, Hoosier, I am convinced. Power for power’s sake is their raison d’être.
This story broke my heart when it broke…and still does to this day.
It’s been such a bizarre thing to see but they make more clear each day, good vs evil.
The story breaks my heart too.
I have 6 inside critters and my 2A rights would be tested if they tried to mess with my furry kids.
I interact with squirrels, raccoons, birds, and other wildlife on my property. It pains me so much to know what happened to Peanut and Fred I can’t even read stories about them now. They really do bond with humans, like cats and dogs do. I have zero doubt it was traumatic for them to be taken away.
They are drunk with power. They are only joyful when their power causes us pain. Animals are God’s creation. I know many will say, it’s only a squirrel. My hope when they meet our creator they are asked about P’Nut and Fred…😔
“I will be your retribution” PDJT.
Loving his appointments so far, the DOJ accused Gaetz of sex trafficking and Gabbard was put on a terrorist watch list.

Roger Stone
@RogerJStoneJr
That’s a surprise!
It is not like me to complain. But here I go.
The Presidential Thread these days is difficult to use as far as finding thoughtful analysis by our very intelligent and informed posters. Seriously. It is filled with repetitive breaking news headlines, sometimes a dozen or more times per page. What ever happened to being somewhat considerate? Like when we used to say, “Sorry if this has already been posted.” How long does it take to do a quick scroll, to at least at a minimum, scan the current page?
This, combined with the negative comments and the trolls, makes it very time-consuming to weed through the pages in order to find the “meat” and the stimulating discussions.
Yes, these are exciting times. But my good gawd! . . . GET A GRIP!!!
Go ahead . . . Slam me.
Unfortunately, when there is a fast moving news cycle it is inevitable that there will be repeat posts… I know because I always try to check first, I post… and then boom… so did 5 others LOL!
As for the negativity, I agree~
True and good point. But the time stamps will tell if that is the case.
Okay, SLAM!!! LOL
You are correct, the comment guidelines should be referenced occasionally less we get too chatty. (like this) 🙂
It’s a mess, that’s for sure.
No slam necessary. You are speaking for a lot of posters.
Agree with your points (although sometimes others beat you to the comment and you don’t know f you don’t refresh) but I just wanted to say that I’m noticing A LOT of new names; I get the impression some of them are meant to be discouraging.
It’s definitely not the same crowd as when we were on the other platform during Trayvon and 2015/2016 election.
Tulsi Gabbard to be ODNI!
I just don’t understand why PDJT would do this?
That’s it. I’m never voting for Trump again. How could he do this to me??? It’s not like I do not have access to his inner circle.////
Why, Why, WHY???? He seemed so smart and capable.////
I mean, he even survived a bullet to his head.
They tried to destroy him and his family. Surely, he understands that this is our final chance to save this nation.
Maybe he knows something that I don’t know.
🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
perhaps we are all nuts LOL
I just spent Election Day through Sunday with visiting friends who have extreme TDS.
“He’s a rapist. He hates women! Putin is his buddy! He’s filed for bankruptcy 6 times! Joy Reid is a nice person! Joe Biden honorable served our nation and didn’t come from millions like Orange Julius!”
I also heard, “The border needs to be shut down and remain closed for 10 years!!” “All of our jobs have been shipped overseas!!” “If I want to own a gun then, dammit, I will!”
So, I found some common ground. I explained to them how voting R or D also ended up with the little people getting effed over. Again and again. So what do we have to lose by letting Trump try?
I calmed them down and said that I was going to give PDJT until mid-April to see what he has done to help the middle class.
But, if we Trump voters are already screaming and tearing our hair out over his picks then I do not know how we can convince new people to the movement that He Has Our Backs.
I’m not taking about being a little flummoxed about his choices. I am talking about the non-stop tearing down of PDJT.
There are a lot of misguided democrats who are desperately looking for someone to give them hope and a safe future. They are at the end of their ropes and truly believe that PDJT is going to ruin what little life they have left (she’s 65 and he is 78). The first time she voted was for Ronald Reagan.
If we are already complaining and denigrating PDJT then they will see this as “See, I told you he was horrible. Even his own voters are turning on him. The ladies on The View were right.”
Go ahead and discuss the pros and cons of his choices with the understanding that there may be people who may try to have a shred of hope that the people in DC don’t eff us over even more.
“Maybe he knows something that I don’t know”… THAT is pretty obvious.
Sundance explained the chess move – it gets Rubio out of the Senate, off the SSCI, and will keep him occupied and out of the way.
AND he’ll be removable if he crosses the President.
Works for me.
Looks like somebody is determined to get a Divided Congress. Pull as many Members out if the House as possible to put Democrats in charge.
You must be right.
I am sure that is how I would feel if my government tried to bankrupt me, imprison me, say my kids are traitors, be accused and prosecuted for things they had to change the law to even bring to trial, tried for non-crimes, have the government stage materials in a raid and be charged, have one of the most coveted properties in the country be valued for less than 1/10 of its worth and prosecuted for overvaluing it and the kicker…
take a bullet to my ear missing my brain by a fraction of an inch and then a couple months later have a guy set up in an assassin’s nest and get within 400 yards.
Yep, I’m sure I would try and throw the government back to my persecutors. /s
We knew he was unconventional but I do think he is trying to restore the republic.
He has a sense of who he can work with and is clear that if should they not work out, he will fire them.
There are a slew of up and comers that would like to wear the MAGA mantle when President Trump steps back. I think that is why so many of this crew is youthful.
He is telling them, you are the future. Learn, step up, do. Fight, fight, fight.
So many are, doh!
Now if Little Marco gets out of line or doesn’t do the right thing, he can be fired. No more Senate for him. One more RINO down.

DC In Full Blown Panic After Trump Picks Matt Gaetz For Attorney General-
Wednesday, Nov 13, 2024 – 12:32 PM
The hits to keep on coming – as President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) for Attorney General of the United States.
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/trump-picks-matt-gaetz-attorney-general
Probably a lot of it electronic. “Old” computers will be sent for recycling after being wiped with BleachBit.
You mean like with a cloth?
Matt Gaetz has little or no experience in the federal court system. The DOJ lifers could run rings around him. While he may know what he doesn’t know, there are also things he won’t even know that he doesn’t know.
Law license was suspended a couple of years ago for not paying annual fees (reinstated when he paid up). Confirmation hearings will be….interesting.
There has to be another place in the Trump administration for his talents, and a more experienced conservative lawyer for AG.
He is smart as a whip.. he’ll be fine!
Being smart is important. Being knowledgeable is also important. The DOJ is the largest “law firm” in the world. Being smart but inexperienced is not the best combination. If Gaetz picks some smart, experienced deputies, he might be ok, but he still needs to know the hidden nooks and crannies where Holder and Garland hid what there were doing.
Reform or elimination of the FISA court would be a start. At least look at a complete listing of all FISA warrants granted from Obama on .
He’s smart and a quick study. Who will also have some career types as close advisors. He’s a fire-breather. I can’t wait.
The AG’s office is no place for on-the-job training. I’m a retired lawyer, and not knowing what questions to ask, or not even understanding the terminology in some areas, is going to be a handicap. “Would you please explain that to me?”….?
I would have preferred him taking Rubio’s seat in the Senate.
I bet you started somewhere didn’t you?
and being a lawyer is a landing place for lawyer jokes
Give me a break. “On the job training?” He’s a lawyer. He sat on the House Judicial Committee. I don’t think he’s going to need much coaching (if any).
So, “He’s a lawyer”, huh? What’s his specialty? Contract law? Entertainment law? Constitutional law? Personal injury? Malpractice? Mergers and acquisitions?
When did he argue his last case, what was it, and in what court, state, district, or SCOTUS?
It was for Bobby Kennedy.
I agree, Wethal, and I say that as someone who likes Gaetz a lot. He doesn’t have the right experience. Well, hopefully people directly under him do and can stop him from making any mistakes.
Wait until the FBI pick! 😉
It could be a head fake. Nominate Gaetz, and then after everyone melts down withdraw the nomination and name someone else who is also ultra MAGA but seems reasonable by comparison.
Classic Motte and Bailey.
“Gaetz for Attorney General.”
“REEEE! Noooooo!”
“OK then … how about Ken Paxton.”
I agree, JC. He won’t get confirmed. Ken Paxton to the rescue.
Massie.. “Gates is the AG, suck it up”.
Majority Leader candidate Thune:
“One thing is clear: We must act quickly and decisively to get the president’s cabinet and other nominees in place as soon as possible to start delivering on the mandate we’ve been sent to execute, and all options are on the table to make that happen, including recess appointments. We cannot let Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats block the will of the American people,” he continued.
he will not be on an island
He knows more than enough. He does not need to navigate the DoJ or Courts – together they form a criminal cabal hopelessly beyond reform.
Gaetz just needs to know to know structurally, where to place the small explosives. .
Gaetz just needs to know to know structurally, where to place the small explosives. .
He doesn’t know that, either.
Wethal, I have always appreciated your learned comments, you provide food for thought and useful information.
But as far as AG, you don’t see Merrick Garland in court too often, isn’t it more an administrative or directional appointment?
It’s a good comparison, but Garland was just a figurehead, with Lisa Monaco running everything.
I don’t want Trump’s AG to be like that. Sure, he has to delegate a lot, but he still has to know where to direct people’s attention.
If you can spare some time, this is the coverage of Matt Gaetz on War Room. Skip the first five minutes, that is the cold open and the MSM meltdowns on the pick.
https://rumble.com/v5p30wz-episode-4054-matt-gaetz-for-ag-creates-nuclear-fallout-in-media.html?e9s=src_v1_ucp
It should give you some reassurance on the pick. He’s already been battling this DOJ.
I think many of these picks don’t measure up to the “Are you qualified” question.
I’m sure Trump has his reasons but I wonder who’s in his ear these days.
Who knew Rubio was MAGA all along?
AG is probably THE most important position, I really don’t want an inexperienced person to be in it. I really do like Gaetz and want him to be working for Trump, just not that position. What happened to Matthew Whitaker?
I like Gaetz too, but he would better serve Trump as the MAGA Senator from Florida.
Would have preferred Ken Paxton serving as AG.
That is why he will be aided by his Deputy AG. He will not be alone. PDJT will hopefully nominate a deputy with the experience of Mike Davis and others of that caliber.
Try not to get down before we see the whole team. There will be 1000 appointments that have to go through the senate I heard someone say.
Matt Gaetz has little or no experience in the federal court system. Is area experience a requirement. That means 90 % of the people working for the government should not be.
The office has more than enough human resources, that even with the personnel “purge” we expect and the influx of those that will support POTUS’ agenda etc. One thing I’ll want to learn of however IS the “purge” of asst U.S. attorneys and of course his deputy etc.
Perhaps an Alina Habba could be the antithesis of a Lisa Monaco.
AG of USA has nothing to do with law. It is all strategy, and execution of that strategy.
Stop already. Concern overload
Duly noted………and how did Garland who had all of that knowledge do? How about Eric Holder?
Boom – little marco enticed from Senate and now can be fired at will if he steps on his wanger one time. heheheh
That was my first thought when I heard about the appointment, too. Then Sundance made the same point.
I think it’ll probably work out well.
Perhaps you would benefit from the thoughts expressed by Sundance over at The Conservative Tree —- oh, wait.
Never mind.
as brilliant as Sundance is, we are not his sheeple
one of the things wrong with we citizens is that
somewhere along the way we have lost our own
critical thinking skills
this site is interesting because of the varying
viewpoints expressed where by some of us learn something
You are absolutely correct. I know I’ve learned a lot not only from Sundance’s research and analysis but from all the terrific folks here who offer their own perspective.
My issue with the comment on this thread is opposing the action President Trump of selecting Rubio for SOS and the follow up wondering why he would do such a thing. I should not assume all posters read Sundance’s posts. If they had read his analysis of this particular selection, perhaps they would not have needed to ask “why”.
I’ll continue to try and hold my powder until late January. It just seems with each announcement of a new position in the coming administration, there are immediate “oh-no’s” and there “must be a better choice”.
Again, I totally agree we should not be sheeple. I also believe that as of November 5th, my glass became more than half full and I’m having trouble dealing with the Monday morning quarterbacks, even though some of them may be correct.
Leaning back on my comfy conservative couch now and continuing to enjoy the sound of liberal screams.
MUST SEE: Biden Staffers Flock Out of Offices to Get a Glimpse of President Trump as He Arrives to White House (VIDEO)
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/must-see-biden-staffers-flock-offices-get-glimpse/
Look! A real President!
Thank you for that!
During PDJT’s first term the crooks were able to use the dossier and investigations to occupy so much of his time. Threats of obstruction if he declassified evidence of their corruption were effective. Those things won’t happen or work now. People are wise to those lies, don’t believe the MSM, and with holding the House will not happen. Gaetz as AG will be great and like Paxton, have been the subject of DOJ and FBI investigative corruption. Any FBI agent or DOJ employee involved in either investigation should be fired, and if there is a problem firing them, moved to Nome Alaska the new FBI and DOJ gulag HQs.
I still don’t understand the wisdom of using seated House of representatives for appointments in Trumps cabinet. Even if they are from red districts, the special elections still take time and it dwindles the majority for that time. It just seems like self sabotage.
If I didn’t know better I’d think Donald Trump wants the Dems to have the majority in the House of Representatives. How many more members can he poach before the Dems have the majority?
I have a question:
Who are you and why are you impugning the President’s character?
It does for sure. It’s 3-5 months to schedule Special House elections, depending on the State. Can’t help but wonder who is advising these picks.
Just throwing this out there. I am wondering if Rick Grenell is going to be Head of the FBI. I guessed yesterday that Tulsi was ODNI.
I like that thought!
One would think that Grennell will have an important spot in this Administration.
FBI Director is about the last one he would be a good fit for.
I heard a story that he told people that he was tired and didn’t want to be part of the administration. I think he would have been named for something by now if he was going to be part of it. I doubt he’ll get FBI Director, but I guess stranger things have happened.
They’re all lying to each other. Compulsive liars.
MATT GAETZ!!!
This is so much winning! OMG could this be any more fun????
Has Trump picked that Soros lackey Scott Bessent for Secretary of the Treasury yet? That is the horrible rumor and I guess I can throw in the towel if Trump is hiring Soros goons . Why not Ron Paul? Why not someone who isn’t a billionaire, globalists Wall Street type.
Might I suggest you listen to Carol Roth on the Glenn Beck show this AM? Maybe it will help with the considerable negativity you are expressing today.
I will never trust someone who worked for YEARS with the evil George Soros, period.
Ron Paul is going to work with Elon at the DOGE.
Most of the smart people on Bannon think this is a wonderful pick. I’ll go with them.
Goetz for AG!!!! Love it!
One of the media stations interviewed F;a Congressman, Muscovitz. He had nothing negative say. Was very positive about Gaetz. Great comments. He said Gaetz would be the most powerful AG in History.
Anybody that has seen him during the hearings will likely know that. He is one of the best prepared and pointed congressmen.
<chuckles>
-His name is Richard???
Besides being an Iran and China hawk, new “America First” CIA Director John Ratcliffe was one of the chief architects of renewing FISA Section 702, which permits warrantless wiretapping on Americans.
Anyone who takes a paper shredder to the Fourth Amendment cannot be trusted.
My memory isn’t what it used to be but I believe SD had a piece about this letter not being all it appeared to be.
Concerned that nothing gets done about this abuse.
Patriot Act should be consigned to the dustbin of history.
Notice that they are asking for FISA to be reformed because of “the FBI’s prior flagrant abuses”.
I’ve been yelling about NGOs to anyone who will listen.
“Government-funded non-governmental organizations” is obviously a contradiction in terms
They are just an illegal arm of the government.
DOGE will find them if no one else does.
I love that the acronym includes DOG.
It just follows you everywhere you go, sniffing everything.
From Wikipedia (I know, I know, but they do have some facts):
The Doge of Venice (/doʊdʒ/ DOHJ)[2][a] was the highest role of authority within the Republic of Venice (697 CE to 1797 CE).[3] The word Doge derives from the Latin Dux, meaning “leader,” originally referring to any military leader, becoming in the Late Roman Empire the title for a leader of an expeditionary force formed by detachments (vexillationes) from the frontier army (limitanei), separate from, but subject to, the governor of a province, authorized to conduct operations beyond provincial boundaries.
The Doge of Venice acted as both the head of state and head of the Venetian oligarchy. Doges were elected for life through a complex voting process.[4]
Elon separate from but subject to Trump, authorized to conduct operations outside the previous department boundaries.
Sounds good to me.
Government funds NGOs. Well said. Not a lot of “non” there.
DJT’s Senior White House Staff:
Dan Scavino will return to the White House as an Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff.
Stephen Miller will return to the White House as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor.
James Blair will serve as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Legislative, Political and Public Affairs.
Taylor Budowich will serve as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Personnel.

Truth!
It would be great if Jim Justice’s Babydog gets invited to hang out at the WH during the day since he has been banned from the Senate floor. Babydog would be a great companion at the WH during the day. 😃🐶👍
Remember at one of the last rallies when President Trump said that he and Matt Gaetz had “a little secret”? It’s been bugging me for days. What’s the secret? BOOM!
I’ve been wondering the same thing. Maybe it’s something they would have sprung if the Dims had managed to pull off the steal.
I think the secret was that Gaetz was planned for AG all along.
Trump Selects Tulsi Gabbard to Serve as Director of National Intelligence
So, when is Dan Bongino going to be appointed as USSS head?
Also, the president of the Gun Owners of America as BATFE head?
Some deal must have been struck if Trump chose Matt Gaetz and will be confirmed anytime in the first 6 months.
So Trump is dwindling his house majority and now the Pennsylvania Senate race is going to recount? How is this winning when everything is being sabotaged prior to him even taking office?
I imagine they aren’t out of house until confirmed…….if at all.
Where is Lindsay Graham? I haven’t seen him in a couple of weeks.
Elon Musk just put him on notice.
Graham said he would have to think about whether to confirm Gaetz.
Musk just tweeted out, “Big Mistake.”
Musk is ON FIRE tonight on X
He may want to consider not outshining his president
I have no problem with him taking to his platform in support of President Trump.
He’d be stepping on toes if he were doing it on Truth, however.
My guess is he took the election pretty hard, probably being consoled by Kamala or vice versa.
Kamala IS a Trans ?
Don’t see Trump’s post on this yet, but The General is usually right on things. Saying it is Patel for FBI.
BREAKING: Kash Patel confirmed as FBI Director.
@GeneralMCNews
https://t.me/GeneralMCNews/11174
Well they had him as CIA a day or two ago. So I would wait for the answer to come from Trump before believing it.
HOPEFULLY
Quick update in the state of the Blob:
Judging by the fear and disgust running through the mind receptacles of the latest information “push” (i.e. the NPC leading indicators), the Blob is beside itself over the Hegseth nomination.
They are scared. They are feeding the NPCs the idea that he is just an unqualified Fox news guy. The NPCs know nothing of the military service, the bronze stars, etc.
That tells me Hegseth is solid.
The Blob is in meltdown mode. They are getting hit from every side. They don’t know where to hit. Keep ’em guessing. Keep ’em on their toes.

Really dangerous and dumb.
Gaetz already resigned.
Speaker Mike Johnson: “I think out of deference to us [Gaetz] issued his resignation letter effective immediately…under Florida law there’s about an 8 week period to select and fill a vacancy… We may be able to fill that seat as early as January 3rd.”

All that I can simply say is this: “Where the hell have we all been, all this time?”
“Somebody is now talking sense.” And somehow, the very thought of it right now sounds so “incredibly exceptional.”
Why is that?
Look: “we have a country to run here …” Is anybody still “tuned in” to that channel?
Abraham Lincoln prophesied that the only way that this country could fall is if it committed suicide. Well, have we somehow already done it?
No. “Everything is not awesome.”
Things look real!
As to Gaetz’ experience with or working knowledge of the DOJ, I’m reminded of an escalator ride nearly a decade ago. We didn’t need another politician, we needed a bull in a china shop. Gaetz will ransack the place. I’m hopeful.

Matt Gaetz has already sent his letter of resignation… so, his seat could be filled quickly.
Just in case any of you still doubt that: “Ike Was Right!™”
Here’s the latest financial profit-report from a UK “military industrial complex,” confidently predicting “3+ billion pounds” of government support (to the Ukraine situation …) until 2030-31!

Uh huh.
“A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction. . . . American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. (Oops: Guess we “outsourced” all of that to China …) But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. . . . This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. . . .Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. . . . In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.”

Matt Gaetz just resigned so DeSantis could have a replacement by January 3rd
Which may mean he might can be a recess appointment.
Well, not that the January 3rd date makes him a recess appointment, but maybe Trump has some assurances he will get recess appointments.
Gaetz is an improvement from ‘experts’ like Session and Bill Barr.
NBC nightly news just can’t bring themselves to say the words ‘President Trump’, constantly saying Mr. Trump.
These media folk just don’t get it; hope they’re learning to code. Everyone needs a backup side hustle these days.
They are intentionally disrespectful. It makes them small. It does not go unnoticed.
