I will candidly admit that I never saw the potential of these two men while I was growing up. Reagan was a cowboy actor – a reasonably good one, but never “outstanding.” He then got into politics and did reasonably well in California. Meanwhile, Donald Trump was just a flamboyant billionaire. I no more expected him to get into television than I expected Ozzy Osbourne(!) to do so. The first time that I caught a glimpse was – as with everybody else – when he rode down that golden escalator. (Well, maybe when I first read, and then re-re-read, The Art of the Deal …)
But, I guess that God sometimes has a sense of humor. “David? He’s just a shepherd-boy who’s good with a slingshot.” 🤷♂️

The atmosphere of the country changed for the better, and people could breathe and live their lives again. He was incredible, leading by example and strength of character.
He too has been my favorite, but as you say, President Donald J. Trump has surpassed the accomplishments of Ronald Reagan.
Trump has an uphill battle and needs Godly wisdom to surround himself with fellow Patriots who put the country over their own ambitions, and perhaps greatest, loyalty.
Iran released the hostages because they were promised arms for hostages by pro-Reagan agents of the CIA during the 1980 election year. In effect, the Iranians helped get Reagan elected and were rewarded for it. Of course they held the hostages until Reagan’s Inauguration Day. That was the treasonous deal negotiated to get Carter.

If you read The Last Circle: Danny Casolaro and the Octopus and PROMIS Software Scandal, it says Reagan was not the good guy he’s made out to be. He was owned by MCA Corporation, which was very powerful.
Have read that both Reagan and Thatcher did substantial damage to their respective countries with the austerity measures they implemented. Reagan stopped prosecuting companies for false advertising.

Heard an economist say that Carter implemented the policies that turned inflation. As commonly occurs, the result takes a while to happen and so it may happen in the next administration. Just like it was Johnson’s spending in Vietnam that caused the inflation during the Carter administration.

President Washington will always be #1 for so many reasons and on so many levels, but President Trump has far surpassed both President Reagan and President Eisenhower — two fabulous men and Presidents — and although I hate to even have him as #2 for any reason, is #2 to President Washington.
President Trump himself said he would be the best President the United States has ever had, and I think we can all see that God has raised him up to do amazing things.

Trump ran briefly for President in 2000 in Ross Perot’s Reform Party. So he wasn’t a lifetime Democrat.
My understanding the classical definition of Republic was a government established for the welfare of the people (commonwealth), while the definition of democracy was a method of government organization. The two concepts are orthogonal. From what I can tell the Republic vs Democracy idea came about in the 50s-60s as Communist governments styled themselves as “democracies”, and there was a need to distinguish American government from Communist ones.
Cicero argued in De Re Publica that there are three forms of government; monarchy, aristocracy, and democracy and all three have a danger of destroying a republic, hence his idea of a “mixed” government that would take aspects of all three forms to create a separation of power.
This contrasted with Plato’s “The Republic” which seemed to require unrealistic rulers in the “guardians”.
The Founding Fathers fashioned this nation after the Roman Republic. Plato’s Republic incorporated a caste system and philosopher – kings.

Watching Breanna Morello Show on Rumble tonight. One segment with Kyle Seraphin and George Hill on how the Freaking Bureau of Insurrectionists is destroying
incriminating records, according to Project Oversight/Heritage (I think?). They also speculated that the real reason why Mr Smith is shutting down his office is so that certain records can conveniently disappear, just like pitbull Weissman’s crew wiped phones not once but twice.
Destroying records should result in mandatory jail time. Period.

I think that the most important thing Trump has now done is to make the entire nation aware of it. Trump is able to very clearly say what everybody else has long been saying. And to effect change as very best he can. That’s what a leader does.

Trump’s record of keeping promises is actually quite poor.
A quick way to thin the herd of government employees.
1) Declare that your job function is now located in city xxxxx, state yy
2) You have x months to show up there
3) You have 1 month to decide if you accept
4) If you don’t accept, you will be let go with severance
5) If you do accept and don’t end up going, you will be let go without severance due to a Code of Business Conduct violation
6) No moving expenses or housing allowance will be paid for your move.
This is currently being done in the private sector.

Unfortunately, in 1977 Jimmy Carter signed into law the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute which codified much of those Executive Orders into law. However in reading the statute, management still appears to be given broad powers that may permit several of HelloWorld2020’s excellent recommendations to happen.

None of the government employees that are the source of the problems is in the AFGE. For example, Peter Strzyk, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page, et al. They’re too high up to be bargaining unit, by law.
People in the AFGE are clerks, truck drivers, janitorial, mechanics, etc. Stabbing needles into the AFGE voodoo doll doesn’t change a thing. It’s GS-13 and higher, SES’s, that have caused all the trouble.
I did have some employees who were members of FUSE (federal union of scientists and engineers) which topped off at GS-12. Except in DC most GS-13 and up are supervisory. In DC everything’s about 2 grades higher since they are so important.
AFGE has nowhere near that kind of power. Keep in mind the feds are right to work, meaning that representing “800,000 government workers” says nothing about how many are dues paying members. That said, yes the FLRB has the ability to consider contract issues, but the regular civil service MSPB is also available to employees, in or out of a bargaining unit.
“Adverse actions” are appeal-able to the MSPB.
You don’t get severance when you quit your job. Not moving is quitting.

The people who currently are in power own pretty much of the world at this point, and they are backed by the jackals at the CIA. No President before Trump has had the courage to stand up to the “corporatocracy.”

Those who are most unhappy about Trump’s victory are concerned about ending up in prison. They are still putting their energy into labeling Trump as Hitler and a monster, even though this tactic was thoroughly rejected by the majority of Americans.
The people self-described as “progressive” have views about Trump that appear increasingly unhinged and divorced from reality. They cannot face the possibility that Trump is not Hitler. What makes it so hard for them?
I recall the awakening that occurred in the Black community after Trump’s mug shot. Blacks were making videos explaining that they used to hate Trump, but then they started looking into what has really been going on, and they realized they have been lied to by the MSM.
If the Blacks of this country can be open to considering new ideas, why can’t liberal or progressive whites do so? I think it is due to white guilt: progressive white people believe they have it better than poor people but then they believe they OWE something to people less fortunate than them. They bought into critical race theory and the belief that whites are responsible for all the pain and suffering of every different minority. The guilt these people feel is real, and the one thing that lessens that feeling of guilt is blaming Donald Trump for what they themselves feel guilty of: i.e. racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, etc. As long as they can paint Trump as the one with the ‘hatred” they feel less guilty about their own success, compared with those of people in the minority.
Conservatives who succeed in life due to their hard work, don’t feel guilty about that success. But progressives do. Thomas Sowell wrote about this in his book Guilt Vs. Compassion.
A suggestion is that the white house be shrunk to skeleton crews by closing any non essential staffing and sending those who are removed to other job sites. That would surely cut down on leaking. Also, any whistleblower should be given their jobs with back pay.
If the deep state doesn’t exist, then there will be no resistance…just sayin’
