It’s been a good little while since we featured a Bill Whittle segment; however, considering that Whittle accurately described what the next successful Republican president would look like in 2012, describing Donald Trump without even knowing him, this one is a great segment to catch up with him.
“Those that don’t understand him say that Donald Trump manned the fry station and the drive-through window at McDonald’s merely in order to troll Kamala Harris and her unsubstantiated claims to have worked at Mickey D’s during her perfectly normal middle-class upbringing. But in this episode of Hot Mic, Bill points out that Trump has done something much deeper than that, and that strangely enough, the image of a President in a fast-food drive-through window offers all regular people a sublime sense of pure HOPE.” WATCH:
.

He has cleaned sinks & delivered room service in his hotels…he has done ‘menial’ labor that his employees do—average people, who have hope….there was an old video of him even walking a guest’s dog….average tasks for a not so average man!
He said his dad made him do every job in the company when he was old enough to go to work. He can run heavy equipment, remember in 2015 he said he had his kids doing every job also. And he said “Yes, Ivanka can operate a dozer too.”
Trump did McDonalds Kamala thought it was such a great idea she did Five Guys
Que Malla does DC…
I think you stole that line from Tyrus.
i do not know if it was Tyrus but it was from gutfelds show
Now that’s a low blow. I know…sorry…couldn’t resist.
All at the same time while sipping her vodka, no doubt. What a gal!
That is the ol in and out!
Very punny! (good one).
I want my country with fries!!!!
Extra large!!
“You want fries with that?” LOL
You can have the fries. I just want my country back!
I’m so glad you remembered that video, too! I believe he even cleaned the bathrooms with one of the maids in his hotel, in addition to dog walking.
President Trump did this BEFORE he ran for President. We need to locate those old video’s and recirculate them.
By the way, it’s good to see Bill Whittle again. He’s a genius in his own right.
Here you go 😁👍🏻
Thank you Ms. Betsy!
Most welcome, Pa 💕
Wearing a tie?!!
Always!!
I agree. On both counts. Bill Whittle is wonderful!
While my daughter was in college, she worked for the carriage company that does tours in Charleston, SC. After graduation she was constructing her resume for a position in hopes of an interview that would lead to the start of her career. She asked me if she should include her work experience at the stables where she mucked out stalls, watered, fed, and hosed down those big beautiful behemoths that pulled those carriages. In the heat of the Charleston summer, this was not any easy job. I told her to include it because she could share that the job was rewarding and showed she was not afraid of difficult work, nor was she too proud. It did come up in the discussion during her interview which led to her employment. She has excelled in her career with a fiber optics company and climbing the ladder with promotions. She still, to this day, remembers working in the stables with fondness.
Hard work horses…you speak of Charleston heat. Try brutal Welsh winters.
My sister in law in Wales has had stables all her grown life…riding lessons and carriages.
She has a number of hardworking girls come through who have stayed for years and who love these magnificent animals. Never young men.
Good on her for putting this on her resumé.
And brilliant for those who interviewed her for recognizing just how dedicated one has to be for the experience she had. I’m sure they never regretted hiring her…not for a single moment.
Been watching Whittle for a long time, hes a good guy.
I concur. Really enjoyed the video as I found myself nodding in agreement thoughtout its entirety.
The commies wish cackling Kamala could be like that. Relate to regular folks. But her handlers know she doesn’t have it in her.
The only blessing is… neither does Mark Cuban. When you’ve got a billionaire activist on the stump instead of Kamala… you’re losing.
I submit that every Kommie-La fan out there is as empty and inauthentic and anxious inside as she is.
Those people who I know that support her do seem to harbor uncertainty about themselves and their convictions. These people are book smart but lack street smarts. They were even saying how terrible Kamala was just before Biden was removed, but now will vote for her. I implored them to simply skip the selection of President on the ballot, but they have been brainwashed to believe the garbage about Trump and would vote for a ham sandwich if one were put up against him. It’s sad.
Can’t help stupid.
Mixed up in the head. 😑
the dem voter class is full of depressed, drug addled, fear addicted, miserable people.
Yet, Team Kamala is running ads about Trump and his billionaire friends.
Then she steps out with her billionaire friend. Has Bill Gates hit the campaign trail with her?
He’s too busy buying up farmland and deciding which nation gets the newest mRNA vaccines on a trial basis.
Read today hes giving 5 million to her campaine,a little afraid of Trump releasing Epstein list me thinks.
It is $50 Million through a dark money donation pool. He has also been indicted in the Netherlands for His lies regarding MNRA shots.
No.
He is too busy working on his legal defense in the Netherlands which is suing him for the Modern bioweapon.
But I read that he has donated $50 million to her flailing campaign.
What price supporting an unfit moronic Communist so one’s visits to Epstein’s home turf remain secret? Not to mention keeping one’s part in a worldwide genocide from being brought into scrutiny…
That.
Hey, perhaps the Netherlands/The Hague can call Jack Smith back for this one. After all, this is where he lives…OR he can defend the indefensible monster Bill Gates.
A monster he is.
Time to be called to account for the generational genocide he has unleashed.
apparently pumped in $50M
…and putting Liz Cheney on the stage for whatever support she was at that phony town hall to do was truly bizarre!
The only way she does appear to interact with people is drunk or stoned. Then she’s in a joyous mood, kackling away. She willingly dulls her “cognitive” skills, such as they are, to appear relatable.
We already know what a cognitively declined POTUS has done to America. SHE covered FJB’s condition up just as she covers up her own inabilitiies to cope with reality by avoiding rallies, interviews, etc.
Answering an NBC host yesterday (for which she had to take a Monday off to “prepare”) about how she would turn the economy around, Kamala said, “Well I’ve been to Pennsylvania & Wisconsin & what’s that other state?” And had to be reminded by the NBC host, it was Michigan.
You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken s***. They’ve tried to remake her how many times now?
What communist does?
The price of fast food is fast approaching the price of – what used to be – gourmet meals, so it’s not that big of a stretch as it once was.
I don’t eat out much, but when I do I go to what used to be considered the upscale places that do the farm to table genre. It is better food and if you don’t do drinks and dessert the price comes out really close to what I would pay at a fast food joint. A local grass fed burger is far better than anything I could get at a FF place.
is it Dusty in here?
Yep, dusty and windy and full of fall pollen.
You could see how emotional Bill himself was in this video.
Not as dusty as it’s about to be…
This is our President
A man who has the indispensable quality of empathy. Who in his rallies is talking to each one there as if he were speaking to them individually. Who appreciates and truly loves the American people who he understands are the beating heart of our nation.
Ours.
Not theirs.
It doesn’t belong to those whose souls, such as they are, are shriveled and who sneer and ridicule citizens they dictate to and crush.
As for the kindness Mr Whittle speaks of….
A photo which personifies President Trump’s big heart. He knows this man will not be able to feel his handshake.
Dems would recoil at the thought of reaching out in such a personal way. Not Mr Trump.
This is his humanity. This is what we desperately need…
And suddenly I have to look for another box of tissues…
Betsy, that is a genius pic. Stealing it.
One I’ve kept for years, aries; and one I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to share with friends who will love it as much as I do.
Thank you again Ms. Betsy! It is now my desktop background!
Can’t think of one better, dear sir.
That’s a look which says, “I see you.”
Eye contact, man to man…something I bet that gentleman will never forget and will treasure the rest of his days.
As always, so well said Betsy. The first time I saw the drive through image I laughed, a good, old fashioned happy laugh, one without stress or care, the way it feels like laughing used to feel. Then, I too realized the genius in last weekend.
The road less traveled…my first job was a choice between my college career path and Trump Tower, and I chose my career path. Never for a moment regretted my choice, but often think of that tower, what that road might have led to. And the genuine nature of this man makes me think still that if his administration needed our wanted my help, I would be good enough to be considered. Now that’s a man of the people.
We all get to a point where we look back at the paths we have chosen and wonder how our lives would have been different had we taken another. It’s an age thing I think. And funny, because we have been discussing this very subject in our house today.
You never know, Unicorn…
You have (I’m assuming) years of success and an up to date resumé.
You might yet be able to retrace your steps and take that road. Trump Tower considered you worthy once upon a time. A good opener I would have thought…
( Having a “residence” in these branches should be a real plus. Don’t leave it off 😉)
Thank you, Betsy. Your response put another smile on my face. And while I have never regretted my choice, I like the thought of putting together another resume, “branching” out! What a great idea!!!
I like it 😁👍🏻
My first job (1966) was a soda jerk at an Isaly’s!
We love this man.
2 minutes into the clip and that commentator is 100% correct that the drive-thru window scene was pure marketing genius. I thought of it as Reagan-esque X 1000. POTUS didn’t spend all those years on TV for nothing.
In other news. The attempt to continue the coup of 2020 is in full effect.
Sorry, but to he*ll with the other news.
I’m savoring this moment.
Nicely done Mr Whittle, and thank you for sharing this today. I admire and respect President Trump for his authenticity and his humanness warts and all. God bless President Trump and pray for him.
Yes. And the people who sit in judgement of PDJT haven’t looked in the mirror lately.
One of the best videos ever on CTH.
And the media is on full blast to destroy McDonald’s over this
https://legalinsurrection.com/2024/10/e-coli-outbreak-linked-to-mcdonalds-quarter-pounders-in-multiple-states/
Everybody should make it a point to stop into their local McDonalds and place an order. We need to support companies that come under attack for supporting our real President. This is called putting your money where your mouth is!
I’d love to stop into my local McDonald’s, but it’s owned by our Rino Congressman, and I can’t bring myself to do it.
I used to love their double cheeseburger until it changed. I don’t eat there anymore, but I do like their coffee. Tomorrow when I go out I will get a coffee in honor Trump from Micky D’s.
👍🏼
That’s a great idea. It is indeed good coffee.
For a number of years, McD’s had the best morning drive-thru coffee in the business.
And reasonably priced.
The egg McMuffin is pretty good.
One of my college jobs was doing marketing research for McDonalds to determine if there would be a market for breakfast items. I was a small cog in a very big wheel, but it was a good experience and I think about it every time I order an Egg McMuffin. A lot of young people got their early jobs doing some kind of work for McDonalds. Sadly, in the early 90’s the left started selling kids on the notion that jobs like that were beneath them. That everybody had to go to college and work in a white collar world or else they were a failure in life. Now, at a lot of McDonald’s restaurants I visit as I travel, it appears nobody even speaks English or else the workers have totally bought into the notion that the job is beneath them. They are surly with the customers and clearly do not want to be there.
They also started pushing that high school kids had to do community service. Why not go out and get a real job? That teaches discipline, commitment, work ethic and reward. This will build character and change a life. Developing the initiative to go out there and present yourself to someone who has the ability to assess you and hire you.
For those like me who really dislike the food, consider buying a few $10 gift cards? For some reason in my neighborhood, there seems to be a McD’s within walking distance of grocery stores. And grocery stores are where the down-on-their-luck people gravitate. I keep the cards under the dashboard where all the loose change and spare packets of sugar get tossed:)
That’s a nice idea. 👍
The CDC has managed to lose any shred of credibility it thought it had with this after covid debacle.
This guy pointed out some interesting details on this ‘outbreak’ worth noting.
https://gab.com/PadraigMartin/posts/113356314197440649
Uh, I’m sure your article is worth reading, maybe repost wherever it belongs?
It’s on point. Discusses the e-coli outbreak.
Uh… is worth reading, is Appropriately and exactly in proper place.
We already know the CDC is not our friend. This guy was right to point out the suspicious timing, why the CDC didn’t come out sooner with the e coli warning, how they could trace it to only McDonalds, etc.
As far as I’m concerned, the CDC is still the vermin-fested woke government agency that helped bring COVID-19 here & destroyed its reputation by killing Americans.
Plus Senators Warren, Casey & another Democrat sent a letter to McDonalds WITHIN 24 hours of Trump doing french fries, demanding all info on food price increases, measures they’ve taken to avoid increases, attacking why there aren’t more $5 deals & what other items on their menu have they reduced, if any, & why not if they haven’t. IOW, price gauging attacks are here.
For me, I don’t eatat McDonalds because I prefer Wendy’s but I haven’t done any FF for a long time. But I did like McDonald’s response to negative media attention.
We should be buying their stock!
Love it!
Brilliant Review of our next President!
We found much needed inspiration in Bill Whittle’s post 2012 election video! This video is also great!
I think it was a very shrewd move for the Trump campaign to do this. It sends a good message to voters and comes across as authentic, unlike stunts other politicians attempt, like Schumer supposedly manning the grill.
There’s already a great comparison meme out there on that. Wish I’d saved the link…
For all those millions of us who started our lives with a part time job working at a fast food joint, President Trump showed that he really thinks like one of us and not like the rich guy he was born. That is unique.
That part that is so wonderful is that he does not look uncomfortable doing menial work while rubbing elbows with the little people.
Remember Ron DeSantis at some event working the counter at some fair? I think that he was handing out hard boiled eggs or something. He ignored the people coming to the counter and just talked to the woman helping him behind the counter.
That was at the recent Iowa State Fair. Soy Boy RD was placing cocktail sticks in hard boiled eggs and the passers – by took them and said “Thank you” to him, no acknowledgement from Top Guv whatsoever. My favorite DeSantis clip from the fair is when he and Jill/Casey exited one of the “green room” trailers to go out and work the fair goers. Everyone outside was looking up at Trump Force One circling the grounds before landing. Ron says either “Damn it!” or “Jeez!” etc., J/C says “What?”, he responds “There’s his f****n’ plane!”. 😂
I love Bill Whittle. I’ve always loved Bill Whittle from the first time I heard him on PJ TV. I don’t know how he does it. His verbal essays on his other show on different subjects were pure genius as was this one.
IMO this was one of best summaries of what President Trump does and who he is from a populist view you’ll probably ever see in a video and Bill was right this is why so many Americans love President Trump.
Ditto! He did a great piece on Gaslighting awhile back that I sent to numerous people to wake them up!
Mee Too. Used to watch the Stratosphere Lounge a lot. He was the first person I heard discussing the ‘parallel economy’ to starve out dysfunctional systems. He also mentioned ‘installation warfare.’ This has been going on between the US and Iran for 2 or 3 years now: something in Iran’s SOE gets blown up and voila! within a day or two (somes same day) a food manufacturer plant or fuel facility here mysteriously burns…. Childers noticed that and commented on it on his Substack some months ago.
I think the fundamental reason the Dems are freaking out over this is not that he trolled Kamala, but that he blew up their “Trump is a danger to democracy” narrative.
The last thing they want the voters to see is Trump as a regular guy. The Dems don’t want him normalized after they’ve spent years demonizing him.
Trump looked like he could have been the franchise owner himself who showed up to work with his employees to boost morale, and then greeted customers at the counter and the window to show his appreciation for their business.
Just another friendly, hardworking businessman – the sort of guy you’d vote for if he ran for school board or the city council…or president.
Aaaannnnnd just like clockwork, Kamala was pushing the “Trump as Hitler” narrative today in “press conference” (actually more of a prepared statement and departure afterwards).
She has also turned down a Joe Rogan interview. Trump again will come across in his Rogan interview as a regular guy with a quick wit.
Agreed. To the left, a normal guy is a fancy pants who can’t load the shotgun he supposedly owns.
One of the best videos ever made of our unique, genius President Trump. This Whittle guy is wonderful.
Thanks for posting, Sundance.
BTW, today I discovered it’s possible to have goosebumps and shed tears at the same time! God bless PDJT!
Dennys to close 150 Restaurants
https://citizenwatchreport.com/dennys-to-close-150-restaurants/#google_vignette
President Tump should approach McDonald’s about introducing a new meal deal called
YUMM
YUGE ULTRA MAGA MEAL.
The thing is Trump actually loves McDonald’s food. Many people have commented on how much he eats it along w/a Diet Coke, and there are pictures of him w/McDonalds food. They are angry because Trump working in a McDonald’s made people smile and be happy. Democrats don’t like happy people. Not to mention the troll against Heels Up, which was glorious.
The fast food diet is a part of the security plan devised by PDJT’s long – time private security chief.
Angry Obama, Biden, & Kamala should work angry night shift at competitor Jack In The Box burgers! Track down rogue voters and force them to vote for your team!!…
love him or hate him, DJT has proven while he cant stay faithfully married till now, i wouldnt call him Husband material, but hes proven also he has Hard Working Kids, he has an awesome Family. No one can take that away from him. Even his Ex who he was unfaithful to, speak kindly. Ivana has passed but she said his faults as well as his good.
Thank you for your 90% critical commentary. I’m sure there are other sites you can go to take it to 100%. Good luck out there!
I wanted to fire back in my often available sarcasm towards “Goldie” but I made myself walk away.
Thank you for letting “Goldie” know that her backhanded, insulting comments about PDJT are wasted here.
The name “Goldie” should tell you something right off the top.
Nee “Digger”?
🤦♀️
Steph Gray, here’s one that is not on point.
Take your nonsense over to fake news The Atlantic – or the multitude of other JEALOUS fake news sites.
Maybe you’re jealous too…
Swing and a miss! ⚾️ 🤣
We are having none of that nonsense today, lol.
Only golden delicious fries.
🤣
Eating “golden delicious fries” makes moderating tasty! 😀
Extra ketchup please. 💕
Since we’re in tabloid mode….
likely Ivana was taken to a safe and secure location while the Deep State is being dismantled.
Shhh… don’t tell ’em I said that.
Retired Magistrate here: I am not voting for a husband; I already have a good one. I am voting for Donald J. Trump who wants to Make America Great Again.
Bless your heart.
You’re taking a lot for granted. Do you have inside information that President Trump’s ex wives didn’t cheat on him first? BOTH of his ex wives endorsed him for the presidency which should make people like you consider just what kind of “Husband material” he is.
As compared to Mrs. Emhoff who was a multi – year side girl to a married man. Got it.
Wow! I’ve never heard of Bill Whittle and that was awesome!! Thank you Sundance! Godspeed President Trump and Sundance!
Worth the subscription… https://billwhittle.com/
Worth the subscription … billwhittle.com
I always say (and go out of my way) to say thank you sir/ma’am, “thank you for doing such great work/thank you for being here”, etc every place I go to that has employees at the lower rung of pay (and especially who would be called minority groups). Today, I had lunch at my son’s school. After lunch I went to thank the cafeteria workers with above. I think the guys really like it when I call them sir. Of course I mean what I say, but I also call it, doing my public relations.
It’s so easy and it makes everyone feel good.
And yes, I probably have much more fast food than I should, but it’s where these people are. I do the same at thrift stores.
Complement the janitors too. All the the other staff really look down their noses at the janitors.
Yes, I thanked the fellow taking our trays for the trash can.
I always used “Sir” and “Mam” when conversing with my students. I would get the same in return. The kids knew I respected them which does wonders with classroom management and establishing a learning atmosphere.
I haven’t listened to Bill Whittle in many years. I remember him back from the early Afghan/Iraq war days. This is 15 minutes of pure gold. Yup!
PT does have a “feel for the media”,
but i don’t think that’s what was primarily in play during the McD’s visit.
PT doesn’t have to ACT authentic, he IS authentic, and it’s something we can all feel intuitively.
(bill does finally get there, tho.😏)
someone re-posted a tweet here that PT had “humbled” himself by working at McD’s.
not so.
PT demonstrated that work, any honest work, in and of itself, is an honorable, worthy pursuit.
(notice his intense attention during training.
you can almost hear his dad’s voice in PT’s head saying:
“and there is nothing worth doing that isn’t worth doing well”,
if you get that tortured sentence.😂)
regarding butler, i think PT may have had his moments of trepidation, i think he is even quoted as saying so.
the point is, PT is not without fear, he is incredibly brave:
“Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway.” – John Wayne
that was the resonance of the return to butler.
once again, PT speaks to to all of us who have been afraid at one time or another, urging us to face our fears and carry on.
talk about a universal message!
i kind of chuckle at the pundits who can’t figure out the “everyman’ appeal of PT.
“everyman” is the embodiment of the American ideal.
work hard, get ahead, good family, stumble but keep going, give back if you can, overcome hurdles, be of good cheer no matter, keep trying.
PT just got a bit further ahead than most, but isn’t that to what we all aspire?
the quality that defies understanding by PT’s critics is hiding in plain sight.
President Trump IS a regular guy, albeit with a very public job and a private plane.
he is as grounded a person as you would ever want to meet.
“the elites” who are scratching their heads over his popularity will never understand –
‘course, they can’t understand why we don’t have a monarchy, either.
Second paragraph is right out of the Ayn Rand playbook:) Whatever work you do, do it well.
👍🏻😁👍🏻
Kids working in construction and rental properties is standard for the business From one 4 unit apartment building to thousands of units. From a guy with nothing but a truck and some tools to a huge business It’s SOP for the kids to work From raking leaves to advanced plumbing.
I read yesterday there was an outbreak of E-coli at several McDonalds (not meat -onions & buns) weird! Just wondering if they are blaming this on DJT too?? :):)
Do you think it’s a coincidence that the “E-coli” story comes out a day after the Trump visit to McDonald’s? These are frozen beef patties that are cooked well done on an automatic grill at 400 degrees F and put into a heating cabinet set at 165 degrees F. You don’t get E-coli from buns and onions. As Steve Bannon famously says, ” there are no conspiracies, but there are on coincidences!”
@cdc.govOctober 22, 2024CDC, public health and regulatory officials in several states, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA-FSIS) are collecting different types of data to investigate a multistate outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 infections.
Epidemiologic data show that Quarter Pounder hamburgers served at McDonald’s are contaminated with E. coli and are making people sick. Early information from FDA indicates onions may be a source of this outbreak. Investigators from all agencies are working quickly to determine the contaminated ingredient.
Pure BS in an effort to go after McDonald’s for allowing Trump to work at a store and get all that positive publicity. You don’t f*ck with the Bidens!(or Kamala)
The ‘outbreak’ was pretty minor & raised no big alerts. It was from Oct 11th, I believe. You can click on this and read it – don’t have to have or be on gab.
But thanks for the gossip without citing any sources,so we can all wonder about the information and the CDC.
https://gab.com/PadraigMartin/posts/113356314197440649
At a contract by company I once worked at there was a town hall meeting with executive management team. The company primarily did contracting with for the government and mostly cybersecurity. A question came up about one contract we were bidding on that was basically around cleaning services and garbage and asking why we would bid on that. An answer from one of the executives has stuck with me to this day where he replied with:
“There is no shame in work!”
Someone here at the Treehouse or perhaps at the Donald called this photo a Norman Rockwell. They’re right. Same Americana vibe.
Great video by Mr. Whittle and I love the hopeful statement at the end.
I haven’t eaten the stuff in many years.
But tonight we are having McDonalds.
The CDC can go pound sand.
People were having so much fun at this event that you could feel it through the screen.
True Joy not the manufactured, scripted, kackling kind.
and commie harris lied to take a poor person’s spot in law school…..arrest her….and ALL dems….
I liked his attitude at McDonald’s.
He didn’t pretend to know it all, he was paying attention to the instructions, he tried to do a good job, and he treated the business, and its owner, and the workers and customers with respect.
He gives respect where it’s due, and he punctures inflated egos with glee.
It’s what Americans are known for.
Mr Whittle gets it… gives it straight in terms you – the average person can grasp… well done sir..
PDJT wears a lot of shoes of many types.
The phrase “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes” is a common expression that means to try to understand another person’s experience by putting yourself in their shoes.
Yet To read the comments but craving an XL fries from McDonalds. Always order no salt as they come out piping hot. Hate dead fries. Cheers & MAGA!
Simply put, the real President Trump is the peoples President. The corrupt deep state can’t understand that.
Donald Trump is who the ordinary guy next door would like to be if he suddenly became a billionaire.
Down to earth, maintaining his values, doing good for his neighbors while not lording it over his neighbors, and also having fun, constructive fun, with the opportunities his money affords him.
He likes people.
Real people like him.
He’s not afraid of life, he’s not afraid of challenges.
He’s not afraid to call a liar, a liar.
People who are fearful and people who live in a self-created world of lies and treachery and cowardice, just hate that.
😁
To be a good boss you have to work the dirty jobs first.
Something tells me that, in the future, when President Trump passes, the citizens of this nation will mourn at a level exceeding President Kennedy or General Washington.
Profound and touching. That picture reminds me of my parents leaving me at the college dorm many moons ago. I knew I would be on my own but that wave reassured me that they had my back. Same when we left ours at his dorm last year. He knows we are looking out for him. I doubt if there will be another. This is a historic figure and we are privileged to be witnessing it. However, the movement will transcend and that is ultimately his legacy. The distillation of the MAGA doctrine and principles.
I flipped burgers at a burger/chicken drive-in the ’60s. First job there was on the French Fry line.
In those days we had to actually peel 50 lb bags of Idaho potatoes, but they had a machine that accomplished the job in just a few minutes, although you could load only a third of the bag at a time.
Then we had to ram each potato thru a julienne press, which created raw fries from every potato and they fell into a large clean stainless steel sink underneath.
Then that mound of raw fries (from 50 lbs of potatoes) had to be soaked and rinsed 2 to 3 times to get rid of the excess starch (when the soaking water no longer turned pink), then the fries were portioned into fryer baskets and stacked on a rack so that the wet fries dried before we deep fried them.
Lolz!
Hobart. The original name in heavy kitchen equipment. Fun to break down and clean too. 😄
Ah, the good ol’ days.
Yup. Pull out the bottom drawer to dump all the peelings scrap. It had a cold water faucet at the top to rinse while peeling and also to clean up the insides after use. It sat on a quarry tile floor that had a drain in it so cleanup was not really a hard chore….
The one that I used was a workhorse that lasted at least 10 years after I worked there…
Terrific summation of the contrast between the authenticity of Donald Trump and the present and past treacherous fakers of USA leadership.
That’s it. Exactly as said. Watch and listen to the video. That is me, that is us, that is the United States of America.
I’ve been watching politics for over 40 yrs. The decision of doing the McDonalds stop, was THE most impressive PR move I have EVER seen in ANY political campaign.
Welcome back Sundance.💕
What an awesome essay! I’ve always liked Bill Whittle. Very good speaker and writer. Thanks for posting this.
It made me smile Bigly..
And want some fries. 😂
Gotta love the Gorn from Star Trek in the background. One of my favorite episodes from childhood. Captain Kirk has to improvise and use his intellect to defeat a more powerful enemy. Kind of reminds you of someone does it not?
President Trump and Mr. Musk will lift America off the launching pad of the future.
The installed VP will lead it over the precipice.
EXACTLY why Our President is not only running circles around the Marxist Dems with their Drive Bye Propaganda Fakenews Media but the entire Globalist Deep State…
Found in the bin… 🙁
This would be a wonderful video to play at a Trump rally.
