A psychological disturbance from his son’s death that renders things like honor and probity and loyalty and gratitude a nullity against the deep and unending pain of losing your son in your profession and all the hopes and dreams for his and your future together. They were going to talk about heroic martial deeds and go to Army-Navy games and he was going to attend his grandchildrens’ lacrosse games and then suddenly-it’s all over. Nothing matters after that. He was probably easy to turn.
The scenario you paint is one no doubt endured by every father who has ever buried a son lost in military service.
All the more reason for an honourable career military man to support someone who wants peace, so that no one else has to suffer the indescribable grief he will carry for the rest of his life.
To honour his son’s sacrifice and memory in this manner would be noble.
To slander a man who has shown you nothing but kindness and empathy is reprehensible.
Whatever the reasons for Kelly’s actions…actions he will also have to live with for the rest of his life long after these days have passed… it is clear he needs prayers and lots of them.

Let’s hope that Kelly will one day recognize the horrid thing he has done. And in so doing will recant, apologize for this terrible deed…and find grace and peace through the inestimable lovingkindness from Almighty God.

I was just looking the other day at the most recent poll for Delaware. I was hoping to see my fellow Delawareans breaking from the Democrat stronghold. The most recent poll I came across was Sept. 19 Harris 57 Trump 37. I can’t imagine this is true because in 2020 Trump gained 10,000 more in person votes than he had in 2016. In those two previous elections our Trump sign was assaulted by passerby’s walking down the street and we were yelled at. This year my husband hung a Trump Flag and put a sign out front and no one has assaulted the sign, we have not been yelled at. We are actually getting honks and thumbs up from drivers who see us when we are outside. Just the other day new neighbors whose land backs up to ours saw our Trump flag and sign came and introduced themselves to us. They are Trump supporters and chances are my husband and me would have done the same if we were new to a neighborhood. I agree you never know.

I am the grandson of a man whose life in Galicia (the one in Ukraine/Poland, not the one in Spain) was saved by two older brothers who gave him the money they had worked hard to save over 10 years so that he could emigrate to America. I agree with those here who have stated that her calling VSGPDJT a fascist is a good thing in the respect of signaling to people who for whatever reason are undecided about this election that she is morally unfit. I can tell you that I have been pleasantly surprised by what I have heard from even the more obtuse of people in my circle who had previously been outraged about my support for President Trump but who now are deeply committed to not voting for any Democrats. It won’t likely make a difference here in Massachusetts, but I am hopeful for its implication for swing state traditional liberal Democrats that realize that too many lines have been crossed.

I recall a news video of jbiden posing for photos with a group inside the White House. A little girl stood next to him, and he was holding her hand. As the moments and photo shots went on, he drew her hand up until the back of her hand was pressed against his zippered fly. He held her hand there.

I agree. Early voting has begun. I don’t anyone who is planning on voting who is still undecided. Everyone I know who is voting Trump knows the media/Dems desperate playbook. Anyone who believes these stories have already decided they’re not voting for Trump.
I voted yesterday and don’t regret my choice one little bit. It has been a long time since I’ve been influenced by grade school levels of discourse.
