President Donald Trump sits down with Bloomberg Editor-In-Chief John Micklethwait for an extended interview. The interview is in partnership with the Economic Club of Chicago and is structurally President Trump facing down the globalists who sell Wall Street policy.
The interview was at times very combative as the interviewer, John Micklethwait, pushes a Wall Street ideology in alignment with the World Economic Forum. However, President Trump has already proven that his economic policies work.
President Trump stared down every WEF talking point and totally destroyed it. This interview is brilliant and a perfect juxtaposition for Economic Nationalism vs Multinational Globalism. President Trump tore the talking points apart. AWESOME!
Notice in the conversation about Tariffs, not a single word made by the “economists” on the value of the dollar and how pertinent it is in the equation.
When China and the EU devalue their currency to offset the impact of tariffs, the dollar value increases. This means it costs less dollars to import goods that come to the USA at a lower price (due to subsidies). Essentially, the diminished tariff impact is doubled.
Inflation is party a component of this dynamic as it unfolded in 2021, when China stopped subsidizing at the same time Biden devalued the dollar. Imports increased in direct price and that pressure amplified real import inflation.
The multinational economists are punching at Trump shadows, filled with lies and falsehoods as they keep trying to sell the policies that destroyed U.S. manufacturing.
Inflation:
1. printing money
2. raising energy costs
3. lower dollar value
Deflation:
1. conservative monetary policy
2. lowered energy costs
3. stronger dollar value.
Trump policies, America-First economic nationalism, create deflation. This is what we saw in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Those same Trump policies increase revenue to govt, increase domestic manufacturing, increase employment, and expand the GDP.
It was the Fourth Quarter of 2019…..
Right before the pandemic would hit a few months later, despite two years of doomsayer predictions from Wall Street’s professional punditry, all of them said Trump’s 2017 steel and aluminum tariffs on China, Canada and the EU would create massive inflation – it just wasn’t happening!
Overall, year-over-year inflation was hovering around 1.7 percent [Table-A BLS]; yup, that was our inflation rate. The rate in the latter half of 2019 was firmed up with less month-over-month fluctuation, and the rate basically remained consistent. [See Below] The U.S. economy was on a smooth glide path, strong, stable, and Main Street was growing with MAGAnomics at work.

A couple of important points. First, unleashing the energy sector to drive down overall costs to consumers, and industry outputs was a key part of President Trump’s America First MAGAnomic initiative. Lower energy prices help the worker economy, middle class and average American more than any other sector.
Which brings us to the second important point. Notice how food prices had very low year-over-year inflation – 0.5 percent. That is a combination of two key issues: low energy costs, and the fracturing of Big Ag’s hold on the farm production and the export dynamic:
(BLS) […] The index for food at home declined for the third month in a row, falling 0.2 percent. The index for meats, poultry, fish, and eggs decreased 0.7 percent in August as the index for eggs fell 2.6 percent. The index for fruits and vegetables, which rose in July, fell 0.5 percent in August; the index for fresh fruits declined 1.4 percent, but the index for fresh vegetables rose 0.4 percent. The index for cereals and bakery products fell 0.3 percent in August after rising 0.3 percent in July. (link)
For the previous twenty years, food prices had been increasingly controlled by Big Ag, and not by normal supply and demand. The commodity market became a ‘controlled market’. U.S. food outputs (farm production) was controlled and exported to keep the U.S. consumer paying optimal prices.
President Trump’s trade reset was disrupting this process. As farm products were less exported, the cost of the food in our supermarket became reconnected to a ‘more normal’ supply and demand cycle. Food prices dropped, and our pantry costs were lowered.
The Commerce Dept. then announced that retail sales climbed by 0.4 percent in August 2019, twice as high as the 0.2 percent analysts had predicted. The result highlighted retail sales strength of more than 4 percent year-over-year. These excellent results came on the heels of blowout data in July, when households boosted purchases of cars and clothing.
The better-than-expected number stemmed largely from a 1.8 percent jump in spending vehicles. Online sales, meanwhile, also continued to climb, rising 1.6 percent. That’s similar to July 2019, when Amazon held its two-day blowout Prime Day sale. (link)
Despite the efforts to remove and impeach President Trump, it did not look like middle class America was overly concerned about the noise coming from the pundits. Likely that’s because blue collar wages were higher, Main Street inflation was lower, and overall consumer confidence was strong. Yes, MAGAnomics was working.
Additionally, remember all those MSM hours and newspaper column inches where the professional financial pundits were claiming Trump’s tariffs were going to cause massive increases in prices of consumer goods?
Well, exactly the opposite happened [BLS report] Import prices were continuing to drop:
This was a really interesting dynamic that no one in the professional punditry would dare explain.
Donald Trump’s tariffs were targeted to specific sectors of imported products. [Steel, Aluminum, and a host of smaller sectors etc.] However, when the EU and China responded by devaluing their currency, that approach hit all products imported, not just the tariff goods.
Because the EU and China were driving up the value of the dollar, everything we were importing became cheaper. Not just imports from Europe and China, but actually imports from everywhere. All imports were entering the U.S. at substantially lower prices.
This meant when we imported products, we were also importing deflation.
This price result is exactly the opposite of what the economic experts and Wall Street pundits predicted back in 2017 and 2018 when they were pushing the rapid price increase narrative.
Because all the export dependent economies were reacting with such urgency to retain their access to the U.S. market, aggregate import prices were actually lower than they were when the Trump tariffs began:
[…] Prices for imports from China edged down 0.1 percent in August following decreases of 0.2 percent in both July and June. Import prices from China have not advanced on a monthly basis since ticking up 0.1 percent in May 2018. The price index for imports from China fell 1.6 percent for the year ended in August.
[…] Import prices from the European Union fell 0.2 percent in August and 0.3 percent over the past 12 months.
So yes, we know President Trump can save Social Security and Medicare by expanding the economy with his America First economic policy. We do not need to guess if it is possible or listen to pundits theorize about his approach being some random ‘catch phrase’ disconnected from reality. Yes folks, we have the receipts.
This was MAGAnomics at work, and this is entirely what created the middle class MAGA coalition. No other Republican candidate has this economic policy in their outlook, because all other candidates are purchased by the Wall Street multinationals.
America First MAGAnomics is unique to President Trump, because he is the only one independent enough to implement them.
That’s just the reality of the situation. They hate him for it…

A masterclass by showman Trump..the audience ate it up..The globalists aren’t used to a leader who puts America first. We must move manufacturing back home as much as possible. I’m tired of taking a back seat to China!
Its an absolute must! Companies also need to increase salaries so Mothers can stay home and raise children if they want to.
You don’t need to increase salaries.
You increase the value of the currency with which you are compensated.
This is done through increasing profit; creating wealth. {Capitalism}
$$ produced in the private sector is called profit, and is accretive to the value of the currency.
$$ produced by Govt is called debt, and is dilutive to the value of the currency.
The Federal Reserve is irrelevant and insolvent.
It’s owners can choke on the Trillions of $$ of junk bonds that they have unwisely purchased over the years of collusion with the transient political parties {Congress}.
In God We Trust.
Trust God. Fear not.
Eight families own the Federal Reserve.
Yes, they’re all “kin”, ahem.
Imagine if the 6% we pay right off the top were instead seed corn capital saved and pensions reinvested for retirees. The only way to build up seed corn is through generations, and family is far more stable a backbone than is fleeting government positions.
Once Britain reintroduced the death tax, and the odious Churchill expanded it, the greatest Empire in history went rapidly broke, becoming the cowering husk it is today.
Taxes on income and inheritance are weapons meant to enslave, then destroy, Christian European civilization.
Not families. Large banks and there’s at least 13. With board members. Anyone can buy shares of bank stocks and play the market.
Sir, please remember the word “capitalism” is a Marxist creation..
No! Cut government in half, cut taxes in half, stop wasting money and Mom can afford to stay home. If Moms stay home what do you think will happen to childcare costs? No demand, prices drop.
And children will be mentally and physically so much better off.
In so many jobs, moms can work from home. What is killing the American Dream is still sending your kids to daycare where they start early indoctrination while you work from home. I know millennial who do this.
Saw a sign today offering kindergarten tutoring. Seriously?!??
Young children are not mentally able to be away from family. Very emotionally unhealthy to put children in day school and preschool. Homeschooling is the best.
What I have heard. In 1940 the average family had 1 wage earner and paid 3% of their income in Federal taxes. By the 1990’s the average family had 2 wage earners and paid 40% of their income in Federal taxes. Net result: the 2nd wage earner is working to pay Federal taxes for the corrupt government = slavery.
In 1940 there was hardly any health insurance and everyone could afford to go to the local doctor.

LEGEND
John needs to get has ‘Bloody Bloke’ rear back to the little island he comes from. We beat them twice and rescued them twice because they couldn’t take care of themselves. Now he and his ilk want to destroy America in another way. From within. And he can take Bloomberg and Forbes with him.
That fruitcake got spanked & acted too dumb to know he’d lost the audience. PDT had the audience agreeing with everything he said including when he told the fruitcake “he’d always been wrong”
The UK IC was part of manufacturing the “Steele Dossier” for the Russia-Russia-Russia hoax.
The UK ruling class is not our friend.
In fact, we need to set the English common man free from their rulers. Hmm. What does that remind me of?

Yep you know it’s coming when he asks “are you ready?” Mickletwat didn’t stand a chance.
I was practically rolling on the floor, he had that Marquess of Queensberry limey flummoxed at every turn. Classic Trump, almost as good as the dance party last night. I think the Economic Club set this Bloomberg hack up to get put through the wringer for the entertainment of the members. Thanks for putting up the link, I’ll watch it again later. It really was a masterclass.
John is what Maggie Thatcher would have called ” a wet ” liberal, pro Europe and a globalist. Maggie used to refer to these types of people as ” a sheep in wolf’s clothing. ” It’s like being cross examined by a wet lettuce.
Trump, like Thatcher, is a person of conviction, he believes in what he says, and his results in office back him up.
John recently married Kristin Scott Thomas, an actress who has done quite a bit of work in Hollywood.
She acted for years & years in the soaps. So raise an eyebrow about being an “actress.” I think it was “The Young & Reckless.”
I think you are thinking of Melody Thomas Scott who plays Nikki Newman on Y & R. Kristen Scott Thomas is a British gal.
Nice job SD.
Very informative for us common peasants!
Keep it up.
MAGA
MAGA Economic policy reminds me of the old truism…..Show me the incentives and I’ll show you the results.
Thank you, Sundance!
Watched it live. When I saw the Bloomberg name on the backdrop, I figured it would get interesting. Add in the twit Brit’s accent and I was certain. This did not disappoint.
K Street should seriously consider surrender, Because Main Street won’t be taking prisoners.
We need to turn their lights off and send their powdered bottoms to Tent City for a few years.
By any measure, the real President Trump’s economic blueprint, decimates the globalists agenda.
I didn’t think I could love President Trump any more….
Oh how wrong I was!!! 😍
He made mincemeat of this arrogant, uppity Englishman (who I suspect used to work for the UK propaganda machine).
Best day ever!!!
I could not watch…so I assume he mopped the floor with him, then?
With a biggly rinse
Multiple times, sis. It was glorious!
He mopped the mens room toilet floor after a Metallica concert with that uppity sod!
Ever see anyone sip their cuppa so mucha? 🤣
Watch him kick his foot back and forth too during the takedown.
it made him nervous!
Good job, Mr. President.
Saw that 😆
At one point his hands were trembling.
Don’t ever mess with a boy from Queens who knows his stuff…
It will never end well.

He was left gasping, P 👍🏻
Bloomberg, Oooop$ ! 🥸
Quite right, dahling.
Multi-Nationals could make lots of money under PDT, but as Sundance has explained, they are invested in American Decline with Chy-Na.
Nor is profit their sole motive. You would think they would want a healthy Middle Class to buy their products–but a wealthy Middle Class is a challenge to their political hegemony. They want a One World Government, Digital Currency, a neo-Feudal Hacienda Society and Monopoly Power and they don’t want to share it with the likes of you and me.
Their arrogance has already defeated them, praise God!
James 5:1-8
1-3 And a final word to you arrogant rich: Take some lessons in lament. You’ll need buckets for the tears when the crash comes upon you. Your money is corrupt and your fine clothes stink. Your greedy luxuries are a cancer in your gut, destroying your life from within. You thought you were piling up wealth. What you’ve piled up is judgment.
4-6 All the workers you’ve exploited and cheated cry out for judgment. The groans of the workers you used and abused are a roar in the ears of the Master Avenger. You’ve looted the earth and lived it up. But all you’ll have to show for it is a fatter than usual corpse. In fact, what you’ve done is condemn and murder perfectly good persons, who stand there and take it.
7-8 Meanwhile, friends, wait patiently for the master’s Arrival. You see farmers do this all the time, waiting for their valuable crops to mature, patiently letting the rain do its slow but sure work. Be patient like that. Stay steady and strong. The Master could arrive at any time.
Heavenly Father, we give You all the praise, honor and glory. Father, we call forth the transfer of wealth from the wicked to the Righteous as Your Word says. We receive it for Your purpose and Your Kingdom right now. You deprive the enemy and bless Your beloved family, Father, and we thank You and call it done, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen!
What a wonderful Scriptural choice, dear Gipper. It is true…patience is key, an integral part of faith. God is never silent and He never sleeps, doing (as I am forever saying) better things for us than we can hope or pray for.
We know this.
Those described have no idea. In His mighty name, Amen 🙏🏻
Amen!
They want to be gods. They are evil!
That is an encouraging word. Thank you for that!

And in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of Hosts.

Nailed it! Well done, President Trump!
The ABE POSE
Every time I see this picture the mustached back stabber make me angry.
I see Abe, President Trump’s close friend and ally.
Makes me sad.
My favorite group photo of the King and his court showing the wannabes the Trump rule, even that dogass Bolton couldn’t pull the wedgie out of his behind that Trump shoved there. And ABE, GOD rest his soul, was a Trump favorite and true ally, I know DJT misses him on these types of beat down he gave so many.
“Ahn geh la “
How easily(!) they forget that this man is a bil(!)lionaire who earned(!) every penny of it. He was “the Real-Estate Titan” who wasn’t(!) corrupt. He was the hotelier or the landlord that you wanted to have. And, he was and is the very best thing that ever happened to any market that he penetrated.
The “politicians” who oppose him, by and large, have no(!) “business experience.” What little they have, they got through “influence peddling,” “grift,” and “graft.” They consider it to be quite normal.
And, he dealt with political mafiosi and criminal mafiosi all over the world, and didn’t bat an eye. Still built beauty and luxury (and fed a heck of a lot of working class families) anywhere he landed.
Watch those crossed arms. They are a warning.
Indeed!!
I watched it live and Trump is the hammer
The observation should be simple: “If you don’t put your nation first,” in every single thing that you negotiate, “nobody else on Earth ever will!” Why? Because of course they are putting their nation first! (As any “rational human being” obviously would.)
Remember the advertisements that used to be in airplane magazines – back when airplanes still had them? “You don’t get what you deserve: you get what you negotiate.”
Likewise: Trump’s own best-selling book, “The Art of the Deal.”
This isn’t actually rocket science . . .
If he needs rocket science; he’s got a good friend and ally named Elon Musk.
If he needs medical science, he’s got a good friend and ally named Ronny Jackson.
If he needs vaccine and food safety science, he’s got a good friend and ally named Robert F Kennedy Jr.
If he needs military advice he has good friends and allies named Gen Michael Flynn, Lt Col Tulsi Gabbard and Col Macgregor.
So, we get a great economy for 4 years with Trump after the election. Then four years from now, we’re screwed again because they’re all bought and paid for and the America Last economy returns.
What a country!
I figure we could solve that by “volunteering” all these louts for Elon’s planned Mars colonization mission. Tell them they’ll be a million miles away from the Deplorables and able to enact their theories without opposition because everyone there will be all in.
Then the rest of pop open the beverage of our choice and toast to a better world without them.
Whiner. Do you really think that PDJT is stupid enough to suffer for 9+ years, two assassination attempts, two impeachment hoaxes, a gazillion lawsuits, smears, lies, and slander and not have plans for after he leaves office?
Why would he just make America great again for 4 years with no plans for when he is out of office?
Businessmen always plan for the future…the 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 year business plans…and they research it forward….
Why do you think he picked JD Vance?
The Apprentice.
You misspelled Winner…Because he made America great again and then watched them steal it before his very eyes…he’s not stupid but his power has limits against the cabal, obviously…
Thank you!
JD Vance up next.
Maybe, but I suspect another family dynasty coming up that just might put the long-term changes in!
The first American POTUS should definitely NOT be Kamala Harris!!!
I don’t think most of the country, after experiencing his second go round, and Bribem’s disaster, would be too willing to go back to inflationary and regulatory tactics?
It’s a pleasure to see a post from such an optimist! /s
If you think Americans are going to sit back and watch this happen again , I have news for you.
The populace is awake like never before.
In the words of the late great Rush Limbaugh, “it is not enough to win, to beat these people, they must be utterly destroyed”.
Today was one step closer to that.
AND the “VP puppet-in-chief” Kamala couldn’t even begin to have this type of convo–she’d be LOST after the first question…..she has NEVER had a job in the private sector, nor gained ANY job on her own merit……I can not believe there are such clueless people in our country –she is such a clueless and “un-serious” person it is glaringly evident to those who don’t “pretend”
Her merit is the ability to pull a twelve inch negative on a chain link fence.
Sounds like one from a car wash.
“At the car wash…
Workin’ it at the car wash yeah”
There’s always been an abundance of stupid people in America who assume it’s all a joke and a fact of life nothing can hurt them!
Joe Biden was elected by that grin, aviator sun-glasses and that good ole boy style.
Barack Obama is the second liar they loved to have lie to them, especially the POC who thought they now had it made.
George Bush got in from legacy connections far and wide and a very favorable ruling from the SC against a villain.
Bill Clinton is the first liar they loved to have lie to them and his being a ranking member of the Dixie Mafia.
George HW Bush got in from connection in and out of the country and being in the CIA and China Ambassador.
Ronald Reagan got in from the enormous disappointment of Carter and promise to solve inflation, which he did.
Jimmie Carter got in because he was a peanut farmer, former military and people thought he was smart; which he was not.
She has a degree in Economics. I guess she didn’t study, like AOC.
What an ass clown that interviewer is. Typical SMUG ELITIST.
Thank you, MAGA Brother!
Great article!!
Always MAGA 👊👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
I watched the whole thing, John M really tried to play gotcha on the “immigration” topic, and I fervently wish President Trump would stop saying “we want lots of people to come.” All that talk about the higher expenses for the small business owners in the room, etc.
All President Trump needed to say was that America belongs to Americans and we have the right to determine who we want to allow in, and secondly, THERE ARE LAWS, passed by Congress, and they should be followed.
How high business expectations are is completely immaterial to these two dispositive points. I guess it’s nice he kind of admitted that they are cheating by using illegals.
That should read, business expenses.
Darn auto-incorrect again.
He just says that to be nice. It’s like telling someone that they look lovely when they don’t.
If he says that then he doesn’t look like he is anti immigrant which would give them something to howl about until the election.
“We want lot’s of people to come.” has as much weight as the person who says, “I’m going to quit smoking this year.” No one believes it.
Yes, we don’t want ONE more illegal alien
Not ONE
You mean invader?
So are you against Elon Musk coming here & becoming a citizen? Trump has always said in lengthier segments, immigration should be based on merit, not skin color or religion. LEGAL immigration has done America good because it is expensive & hard. People come here because they want to assimilate. We don’t need the people coming her ILLEGALLY PERIOD.
I didn’t say that. Did you listen to this interview? President Trump always claims he wants LOTS of people to come.
My grandfather was a legal immigrant from Denmark. My favorite uncle from Germany, my brother’s wife from Slovakia. Yes Elon is a great immigrant and earns his keep, but do I think we need LOTS more?
No. Even legal immigration is harming employment numbers of heritage Americans. Time to slow down.
I agree. The H1B visas have really ruined a lot of American careers in the tech sector — people being laid off to train their foreign replacements. Boeing outsourcing everything and hiring $9 Indian engineers — as doors fly off their planes. And places like Springfield, OH are being filled with “legal” Haitian immigrants that will work for cheaper wages than Americans — and getting tons of benefits and govt housing vouchers that displace local renters. I agree with you, cheering — I think we need to put legal immigration on hold until our own citizens are taken care of.
I listened live. Trump embarrassed that stupid brit reporter. It was masterful. The crowd was laughing every time Trump took a shot at the guy for not knowing how economics works. The dude kept saying that he was going to cost americans 40 million jobs. One thing Trump missed out on, at least while I was listening is, he could have easily said “Then why didn’t it happen the last time I was president?”.
We love you, Donald!! You were fantastic!
On to victory!
from what I watched, Trump wiped the floor with that obnoxious arrogant brit
“Crowd starts cracking up after Trump roasts Editor-in-Chief of Bloomberg John Micklethwait on tariffs. “….
Milktwat got more embarrassed then by his own last name!!
I’ve only watched the first 15 min so far, but whether you would agree with what President Trump says or not (although Sundance has the receipts above that Trump is correct)…it is physically impossible to see Kamala Harris having this level of conversation on any topic. It’s no wonder she has not accepted their invitation. Zero chance should could make it 10 minutes and give 10% of what Trump is showing here. There is no comparison.
Could you just imagine her sitting there saying “I was raised middle class, unburdened by what has been, and am filled with joy, such joy, while washing collards in the bathtub”
While planning the Kwanzaa celebration her Indian family held every year
Yes you bet collard greens and chitlins are traditional Indian cuisine
Of course not. She’s a puppet like all of the rest. They just say what they are told to say… Obama was great at that, but Biden isn’t and Harris is worse still.
If we have learned ANYTHING from the past two terms it’s that Trump was in charge as much as he could be (insurance policy) and that the “president” isn’t in charge… AT ALL which is, itself, a crime.
When Trump returns, he will cancel any insurance policy with great wrath and get down to business. He wouldn’t take office again unless he had a plan to neutralize their resistance plans. He has a plan I am certain of that.
After that? Changes…. lots of changes and the people will support it after everything they’ve seen.
Yea I’m pretty sure Trump is coming back with the Hammer of Thor, the righteousness and strength of Superman, the quickness of the flash, the anger of the punisher, the vengance and patience of Edmond Dantes, and the spirit of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
These demons have no idea what’s about to hit them. And then some…
Oh! And the approval and sign off of we the American people, John Q Public!!!
I wouldn’t even give her 2 1/2 minutes!
Nothing like NOT PRETENDING!! TRUTH HURTS these Globalist PIGS
That’s an insult to actual piggies!!!
the interview was a smug SOB
It’s hard to make these arguments because the big funding is from the globalists, but Trump’s nationalism is correct.
Contrast this crisp intellectual beatdown with the endless salad bar that would flow out of Kamala Harris’ mouth at such an event.
He was fine until they had to ask him about January 6,and he defended us by saying everyone has the right to protest ,especially when they think there was a fraudulent election, which it was
Main Street versus Wall Street.
Sadly, this isn’t the Trump the public sees. While he is still presenting himself in “campaign mode” he’s running a modified campaign mode which is more useful to this specific audience.
He is keenly aware of his audience and speaks accordingly. That said, he could have gone into far more detail and didn’t. I suspect it’s largely “the more you say, they more ‘THEY’ know” and he doesn’t need them to know.
Still, an excellent discussion… he destroyed them.
Can you imagine Harris going into the lion’s den like this? No script, no prearranged questions, no ear-piece, no edited videos and transcripts afterwards. Just straight-up, no bull-crap.
Any democrat would get destroyed and three-quarters of the GOP would as well (since they are really democrats too).
The man is awesome and fearless because he has truth on his side. The globalists (including GOP here) are nothing but lies and deception. Not one word of truth to be found. They serve their master satan with their lies. Lies=satan, satan=lies. The two are inseparable.
I love how the Euro-weenie tells PDJT that he is mostly talking about major corporations and tariffs and then asks about small businesses.
The Euro-weenie rubs elbows with the crowd who hates small businesses and shut them down during covid while big businesses got to remain open.
After this interview John had to check and see if he still had his balls attached.
Sadly, for him…
They weren’t
President Trump was seen later juggling them as he walked to his Limo
And he was observed as he dropped them out the car limo , watching them roll slowly, picking up debris as they fell into the drainage sewer…
Later, a rat was seen chewing on something sort of round, and when he was finished, he regurgitated this “ball” and a street sweeper was seen to push the blob back into the sewer…
Ha! Juggling!…uh….ewww
I was tuned in while on a run. Ended up running longer than planned. Mr. Trump was excellent with his ‘weave’ as he called it. Mr. Micklethwait kept trying to trap but was caught when the weave pulled together to wrap it up. Only ball left was “What about the small businesses?” My experience has been that small businessmen supply big business and do well when the big guys need their product. When Crysler went bkpt in 2009, thousands of small businesses died.
Funny thing about policies that work well for large businesses in certain market sectors, the policies & associated numbers can be SCALED if and as necessary to work for any size businesses in the same industry.
That clown on the right was repeatedly setting himself up to get kneecapped on many questions. He kept making the SAME complaints and faulty predictions as the anti-tariff (globalists) whiners did in PDJT’s first term! Pres. Trump proved the globalists’ doomsday forecasts wrong by the actual GREAT numbers achieved after PDJT imposed the tariffs.
Micklethwait. A very snooty hoity toity ivy league name.
Cambridge or Oxford.
President Trump…..no one like him. He loves America and it was a beautiful thing to watch him put that stuffy elitest in his place !
Yo, GloboCorp. Next time “come correct, or don’t come at all”.. 👊👊👊
Watched the whole interview and The Donald slayed the Beast hand down . Interesting that the audience picked up on the interviewer’s bias, siding with the President every time
Do you know why the camera is shaking during the conversation with Trump? Trump was dropping bombs on the globalists’ talking points.
I shall now digress to a point entirely relevant to this article. Our politicians want to take away our 2A for ‘safety’. We shoot each other too much. We have weapons in our pantry. We do not know how to handle weapons. They cause problems. Yet, when you have weapons crime goes down. When you have weapons, we secure our 1A. 2A follows 1A for a reason. So, the politicians advance an argument which is entirely wrong and proven so. Why? To take away our 1A and make us slaves. Simple as.
So, why do they keep saying the same nonsense about global trade and tariffs when it has been proven to be correct? That is, Trump’s position is proven to be correct. Period! What is the reason that they keep advancing an argument which is entirely wrong and proven so. Why do they flood our country with illegal aliens, too?
They want American business in foreign soil to select foreign politicians agreeable to US/globalist interest. Trump’s policy will keep them here. Having American or European companies in foreign lands are literally forward operating bases to penetrate the foreign governments and select appropriate foreign politicians with money, donation, bribes, etc. Adverse foreign politicians are simply assassinated. See those who opposed Covid protocols. It is a way to tightly pull foreign countries into our orbit. We are undermining their governments and not promoting democracies.
The other part is the illegal aliens flooding our country. When you read the history books about the ancient empires in middle east around the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, even these ancient empires moved populations from conquered territories in order establish its power both military and culturally. The conquered territories are now peopled with your subjects and the conquered people are scattered throughout the other parts of the empire. The backdrop of the Book of Daniel is this.
It is my conjecture is that that is what are doing now. However, instead of having a war to conquer territories we have companies to change the foreign culture to something much more American/global and select the foreign politicians who willing, enthusiastically follow our command. Think South America. We brought in Hawaii into the Union with this tactic. It works well.
In other words, we are conquering territories with soft, but, irresistible power. We provide a higher standard of living, jobs, amenities, consumer culture, education, healthcare, etc. And/or, the foreign people come here and either become citizens or become addicted to welfare like Haitians, Hispanic (to a lesser extent) and muslims (to a much larger extent). Islam is particular vulnerable to welfare because muslims believe it is right to live off of the kuffar. They are very vulnerable. Just look at their employment rate in all of the western countries. They are literally becoming slaves to NWO by their own will and intention! Either way, these people are controlled by the elites/IC.
We cannot have conquering wars for territory for a myriad of reasons. So, the IC has come up with an absolutely brilliant plan to conquer territory plus hearts and minds without war.
I honestly believe that this is what it is all about. Conquering people and territory with incredibly forceful soft power is the idea and, frankly, this strategy is far more effective than war. This modern soft power is far more powerful than war because hearts and minds have been won, as well. Today’s soft power includes technology and finance employed skillfully. Soft power centuries ago was much more limited because technology and finance were very limited, as well.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I said it here and I will say it again. Historians will be reading what the IC/elites have done with mixture of awe and respect. Future founding fathers trying to make a more perfect union in the distant future will study what these people did today, like our Founding Fathers studied the Romans, Byzantines and Greeks.
In Islam, “dawa” is “soft war”.
Financial war, for instance, is war without weapons: a culture war, just as media, propaganda, or historical revision is culture war.
Excellent comment, I must say.
I am very flattered and I do sincerely thank you.
President Trump understands tariffs, antidumping duties, countervailing duties, etc. The harmonized tariff schedule is complex, but it would not surprise me if he considers it light reading.
For about half of my 30 years in US Customs/CBP I was in trade enforcement. In fact, I wrote the national policy on IPR-violative product interdiction, which was a section of the Border Enforcement Handbook (no longer used, and somebody else put their name on it anyway).
I will tell you this to a certainty:
Much of our tariffs are not collected because of fraud, transshipment, and other methods of duty evasion. And, Customs, after Reagan left office, moved steadily away from enforcing our import laws.
Few penalties, even fewer prosecutions. So, believe it this: There is a much larger pot of money owed to the US than I think even President Trump suspects .
Kamala was invited & turned it down, big shocker/sarc. Who does this twit Brit think he is?
President Trump explains his policies in terms even I can understand. I’ve shared this interview with others.
I absolutely loved this interview. He didn’t let that stuffed shirt shove him around for one second. He dominated. There is no commie dem who could ever do this with any honesty.
Now to cut government spending at the same time.
Too bad those 87,000 IRS agents will be out of a job as should be everyone at the Department of Education and no more subsidies for PeeBS.
“But we can’t fire them, they’re union and Civil Service”
So just close the whole dang department, offer a few corrupt politicians a privatized version in a few cases, and buy out the CS just like any other union does.
For starters!
Unfortunately, I do not truly understand how the economy (at it’s core) works. Thank goodness for Sundance who helps me to understand on a very basic level.
Here’s what I do know, DJT when talking business and the economy is freakin awesome (genius)!!
This interviewer was a total English prig… Champing at the bit to trip DJT up and make him look inferior – LOL never happen!
Wow. He has such a command of economics and how they really, really work. And they always throw these static analysis at him that do not consider all the dynamics of an action. And then think about his opponent maneuvering in this world. Lord help us.
Eggs are up 41% because they keep murdering the chickens
among many other causes….
Mostly murder
Either by government orders, “bird flu”
Or fires, lots of fires
“…food prices had been increasingly controlled by Big Ag, and not by normal supply and demand… to keep the U.S. consumer paying optimal prices.”
They keep murdering the chickens and the chicks
And lots of fires…how many food plant attacks are we up to now?
And fertilizer plants, which affects both feed and farming
and…and…and…
That is why you shop with local butchers
“shop with local butchers”
A heads up for those who don’t already know what’s up:
The Regime has been going all in to eliminate this option. In fact, their schemes to seize CONTROL of ALL food production have been so wide spread and so successful that they will totally ELIMINATE alternative options aka Food Freedom UNLESS voters re elect MAGA President Trump so his MAHA Teams can get to work asap.
41 percent PER YEAR more like.
Yep.. chicken feed is astronomical!
Most people are actually seeing almost 500% on eggs under Biden Harris, I don’t know where people learn math nowadays.
They keep doing recalls on meat
Never any recalls on fake meat it seems..
One asks, What could go wrong? We must not be lulled by the fact that it’s inert. IMHO, inert foodstuffs are like sleeper cells.
Bleck!!!
Which chickens layers or roasters?
Eggs were typically $.050 – $1.00 per dozen Under Trump, they are now ~$3-$5 per dozen.
40% must be Commie kamaltoe math.
