There was a book called that . . . my parents had it on one of the bookshelves in the den . . . I did a book report on it . . . but that was in 1967 in the ninth grade, many moons ago in Political Science class (I think it was called) and now I am anciently old . . . Mr. Butterworth was okay with it . . . I even had a teacher in the 7th grade, Mr. Gibson, in Social Sciences, who gave us all copies of “Anthem” by Ayn Rand (and so during the summer, I read more of Ayn Rand). “Anthem” seemed like a totally science fiction scenario but as things have unfolded and ludicrous ideas like “man-caused global warming” have gotten any traction, you can see where it is all headed!
Thank you. That is a wonderful book that I, too, read in high school. You have inspired me to purchase a copy so my kids can read it now. Thank you for that.

I think you are right about that. The progressive amendments to the constitution in the Wilson era enabled the federal government to expand, and it was filled with a lot of people who believed in communism. The Frankfurt School came to Columbia, and the State Dept eventually was filled with communists. The NY Times constantly agitated for the U.S. to get involved in WWII and praised Stalinism.

Yes, all those people who came to the defense of Senator McCain as the great hero . . . but he would NOT have been captured if he had followed the flight rules . . . no, he dropped altitude and got his plane hit and therefore wound up getting captured.
We heard all about how can Trump say this about one of our great veterans, so veterans you had better not even THINK about voting for Trump. Frank Luntz, Erick Erickson were notably out there hammering on Trump. Other politicians “from across the aisle” like Congressman John Dingell of Detroit rallied in defense of the heroic image of Sen. McCain.
Of all the hospitals in the VA system that were so bad, the VA hospitals in Phoenix and Detroit were among the very worst; trying to get veterans to go against Trump because McCain and Dingell were outraged fell flat.
Trump stood by his words and the outrage the political machine (on both sides of the aisle) attempted to purvey was looking more absurd by the day.

There’s another aspect to the jobs growth consisting of nearly all government work, that I didn’t fully appreciate until just a little while ago.
Aside from making things look good for the current administration if one doesn’t look too closely, the people who just got jobs, even at state and local government levels, are likely to be going to vote for Harris, from anecdotal evidence I have witnessed.
For instance, a man who couldn’t get a teaching job before, due to DEI, all of a sudden gets hired. He has heard that President Trump wants to ban the teachers unions, and also believes that abolishing the Education Department will result in less money to his district. He thinks it’s in his best interests to vote for Harris, because Walz is a teacher.
I wonder how many of those jobs added were teachers?
Then there are the federal workers just hired. They know that they will be the first to go if Musk and Kennedy start reforming government agencies.
The Democrats just bought a lot of votes for Harris.
Turns out last week’s “stunning” jobs report had a secret ingredient: Government Workers. 785,000 of them.
Another couple reports like that and our entire economy will be workers regulating each other.

I am not an expert in research or intrepreting results of research.
The study linked above states a 15-17 minute interview was conducted with 2,000 individuals who self-identify as Christian and 1,000 who were voting-age adults.
From the information gleaned (from 3,000 people), the study predicts over 100 million people under a “people of faith umbrella” will not vote in the upcoming presidential election.
I reckon that puts me in the minority. I’ll continue to try and influence everyone I encounter, faithful as well as faithless, to vote for President Trump and will patiently explain why if needed.
My faith is larger than a survey of 3,000 people. I cannot predict what Our Lord has planned for any election but I do know His plan for me.
Faith-fueled optimism is addictive. Pass it on.

For every 10 registered Christian voters, 8 show up to vote.
21 million Christian voters are still unregistered. If we can get them, that can certainly swing the election. Vote for Life!
I also think this goes back to the watering down of the Republican platform presented at the RNC from 90 some pages to about 19. Couple that with abortion issues and I think many will unfortunately, sit this one out.
The growth of the homosexual cancer in the Pub party is also a factor.
And Christians were burned with the Bush / Cheney/ Hastert era. I knew a mega church pastor who thought he was hot stuff getting invites to Bush’s insider luncheons. A super big push effort to get Christians for Bush versus the demon clowns. Bushes were such a waste of effort.
A comment on the Beneath Sheeps Clothing video noted devine intervention of Washington having bullets shot thru his hat but not hitting him. A pretty direct parallel to someone else getting shot basically thru his hat/his ear and otherwise not being more grievously hurt or killed.
In the 60 Minutes interview, Harris said she owns a Glock. If it’s a Generation 4 model, introduced in 2010, it’s banned in CA because they do not meet the state’s safety requirements for handguns.
Better yet, according to Scott Adams, “glock” is coincidentally the noise she made when she was dating her path to politics, Willie Brown, more specifically, “Glock, glock, glock, glock…”

Overheard and engaged conversation suggests people from both sides there.
Once again huge amounts of out of state money is stealing Ohio from Ohioans.
First to “slave our democracy ” they convinced people to change Constitutional required vote to simple majority.
Second huge amounts of out of state money convinced enshrining a woman’s “right” to kill at her discretion.
Now huge amounts of out of state money is trying to change redistricting authority to a unelected board with no responsibility to the citizenry.

We hope the redistricting scheme will fail, but we have seen little organized opposition, just like with the other issues on changing the state constitution and opening up abortion, yet all kinds of ads in favor of it, including an ad by a RINO former Supreme Court Justice.
Where are the Ohio Republicans? M.I.A. on purpose, because the party is still heavy with fat RINOS who bend down and even over for DEMS and their money.
The demoncrats are even making their VOTE YES signs red to make it look like the right supports this. Maybe they do considering little effort to stop it.

I believe Jay Valentine (Omega4America) and their fractal system might have been another huge difference maker; however, it seems like they were shut out. My perception is that the engaged consultants are very protective of their clients (RNC) and will shut out other consultants regardless of what’s in the client’s best interests. Dream on. This is a ‘never go near it’ subject at all levels of politics, the media and the govt. up to and including the S.C. who would not take it up when Obama and his huge question marks over eligibility beat the system. Will definitely not happen now. If they can get rid of the other big issue—anchor babies having automatic citizenship—it would smack her down too but I don’t have much hope of that happening either.
