I listened to the discussion this afternoon. I was working with it on in the background so I missed parts of it but the general idea I came away with was how centrist Elon sounds. I mean, pro America and common sense. No, he’s not a strict Constitutionalist but I’d say he’s broken away from the leftist pack. This goes for many of the social issues as well. I guess that is what surprised me more. The discussion about children and women’s health regarding the oral pill. Oh and the psychotropic drugs being pushed on kids and people in the USA.
It’s interesting hearing him talk on all these different subjects, his mind just works different than most people. There were times where I thought the video froze but it was just him thinking.

Those are signs his mind is working away exploring pathways and connections that very few other people pick up on. He has some other personal affectations. But he is a very serious person. The same things can be said about Elon Musk. He has a very adolescent sense of humor (X, 420, 69, etc.) Musk has been astoundingly successful in multiple cutthroat fields and is legendary for his focus and work-ethic. He is the richest man in the world.
The same things can be said about Donald J Trump. His communication style is unconventional but he is extraordinarily effective with it. He has made and lost and made again enormous fortunes. He is perhaps the most famous man in the world and will likely again become the most powerful man in the world.
All three men are totally unique. They are all different from other people, but they are completely comfortable in their own skin.
I thought it was interesting Tucker would throw in a snark line and Elon didn’t connect the dots it was snark, but yet, Elon has a great sense of humor.

I recently read that “dark” MAGA means taking out the trash, and meting out righteous justice in this world. Perhaps Musk is similar to President Trump in this respect, as both warriors are seemingly unafraid of the battlefront. They are in it to win it.

Regardless how we might feel about Elon, he is interesting, engaging, and seems easy to talk with. He presents a person who has something to say. He is smooth, intelligent, revealing and has a nice sense of humor. Hard to believe he bounces back and forth as the richest man in the world. I have listened to some of the other richest, and they so boring and condescending. I don’t get that impression with Musk. I like his laugh and hominess.

I have never understood the value of polling. Is there anyone who votes according to a poll they have read?
One example I can think of — there’s a group of people who suffer from terminal FOMO (fear of missing out) who feel they must always be with the majority and are easily shamed by the opposition when they are not. They fell all over themselves with BO, esp with the added inducement of being shamed as “racist” if they did not join with what they saw as the majority.
