Politico is framing the “lack of vetting” as the reason Kamala Harris is now stuck with Tim Walz as a liability dragging down her campaign. The VP nominee is essentially outlined as a lying liar who lies, although they use the word “misspeak” frequently.
Strangely, or not, Politico never outlines that Tim Walz was specifically vetted by Eric Holder. As a consequence, if the political left is going to run with the excuse of failed vetting of Walz to explain Harris losing, they are essentially saying Eric Holder sunk Harris.
Key members of Harris’ circle weren’t aware of some of Walz’s inaccurate statements until they became public, despite the vetting process.

Something is askew in the world of the leftists because pointing out the vulnerabilities of a strategically important selection is never usually allowed.
Walz is transparently sketchy, that is a given. However, to see Politico highlight the Democrat VP nominee as a liar is a serious shift in traditional approach. If it was only this singular notation, then we might chalk it up to a rogue article posited to give the illusion of honest journalism. Alas, that’s not the case.

Vance is keeping company with people who can help him learn the ropes. Holding high office comes with a learning curve and I see what the good, bad, and ugly experiences have done for Trump. Trump now commands respect and if you are normal, it looks and feels good. If you are not normal, then he still looks like your enemy. None of us can imagine the weight of the enemy at your throat 24/7 for 8 years.
Trump has survived and emerged with plans. We know he can be a great President if we also set him up with a cooperative senate. Vance will not be another Mike Pence. He may go quietly into the sunset or he might run for office. We can’t predict tomorrow but you can bet that Trump will have his eye on many individuals who have won his trust. The future becomes the present sooner than you think. Remember that China has 50 year plans and they are a force to deal with.

The Socialists Democrats needed to take out Biden but he would not go willingly. So, they did their coup thing but couldn’t bury Kammie because of money, so they were left with promoting her…..or so that is what I read. The Obama/Holder team is very particular about who they like….yes, it has to be someone they can control. I don’t think Kammie can be controlled by them. She has her own team and they are strange. So, she got Walz as a running mate but they don’t seem too concerned that he is a blimp.
They got caught in a trap and had not prepared anyone that Obama and his comrades approved of or trusted, so they are willing to let Trump have four years while they prepare for 2028. That is four years to prepare!!!

Compare the two debate performances. Vance got the job done. He was prepared, on-message, and made Vance look foolish. He did what Trump should have (but failed to do) in his debate against Harris.
Walz is sinking himself – obvious to most people. Vance is certainly not “another slick politician”. Good grief, the debates are totally ridiculous for expressing anything much at all. Some people who frequently lie are compulsive liars, NOT because they seek to influence or to mislead, but rather, they NO control whatsoever over this specific compulsion.
It’s different than a psychopathic liar who has full control and who consciously seeks to manipulate, to influence and to control
Compulsive liars are also referred to as chronic liars.
The compulsion is out of their control.

How to explain the polls that show no effect on Harris’s slim lead?
“polls” huh?
I used to follow these, back when they published reliable internals, and I could cross reference these with reliable exit polling from recent elections. I could then adjust even a rigged top number, in a data-driven way.
The key word is reliable, of the 2 above-mentioned datasets. I don’t waste time on unreliable data, and it’s been years since we’ve seen reliable data in polling.
When Geraldo Rivera claimed that 50 million people supported President Clinton, based on polling (back when the Lewinsky story broke), that was pretty much the last of believing on any polling (for me).
I wondered how did Geraldo Rivera extrapolate 50 million people from probably some very tiny number of people “polled” . . . then, wondered if he was getting it mixed up with the 50 million dollars he was going to find in Al Capone’s empty safe.

When our tiny county tried to go up against the state of Minnesota, and specifically the Minnesota Secretary of State (who is a Democrat within a Democrat stronghold), we held a protest at our county courthouse.
Our county is tiny. No one ever holds protests there, since this is a Democrat stronghold, too.
Of all the politicians who heard about what we were doing here, and what we were fighting for (fraud in the 2020 election), only Mark Koran said, ‘I’ll be there to help you.’
Mark Koran attended the protest, and Mark Koran spoke out against the SoS, the gubner, and all the fraud that was going on.
We didn’t win our law suit against the county, but just filing a law suit against them made them sit-up and take note, enough so that they changed what they were doing and are now following the law.

And as far as the lying liar tampon timmy, when a huge group of people from all over Minnesota went to the state capital and protested there, timmy did not show up.
When many from that same group moved and started protesting in front of the gubner’s mansion on Summit Avenue (all with permits to do so), timmy stayed inside and peeked out through the windows from time-to-time.
Balzless walz was too afraid of the people he is supposed to serve to even walk outside and address their grievances.

I had no idea that the fifth anniversary of Tiananmen Square was the day that Tim Walz and his wife were married.
The day that it all happened and for weeks afterwards, I recall getting the “Los Angeles Times” and any other paper from the news stand that had any news about it . . . by the 10th anniversary, I recall a brief news report about whether there were any of the prisoners still in jail, how they were faring.
It just hurts your heart to think of it, those beautiful brave young people with their “Statue of Liberty” . . . then when all the violence ensued with out-of-town military mowing down the demonstrators and the authorities tracking down everyone, there were fax machines over here in America receiving random faxes from Communist China as students were desperately trying to get out word of what happened, looking up any fax numbers they could find as they prepared to escape.
The Bush Administration was catering to the business people who had moved their factories to Communist China that could see their entire fortunes disappearing if the Chi-Coms got upset with the American reaction and of course Bush and his good friend James Baker were very concerned about the Chi-Coms getting upset and continued to cater to them behind the scenes.

Ya know, I have a theory on this whole “weird” thing.
I believe the left did what they typically do and polled words people came back with on Tampon Tiananmen Tim. The one they saw a lot was weird.
Again, doing what the left typically does, they didn’t change candidates. Nope, they decided to use the word in a full court media press to be used against JD Vance and Donald Trump.
Yeah, maybe they picked a candidate so poorly vetted and weird that they could spin it as the excuse the first female of color presidential candidate did not succeed.
The candidate that got exactly zero votes for during the primary.
The candidate that dropped out with around 1% of the vote in the 2020 primary.

The problems with the Kamala campaign are too obvious to ignore. They had to have a scapegoat to hang all the blame on to give the media some cover to hide behind. Walz is the designated fall-guy. Walz’s political future ended once he walked onto that debate stage.
Saturday night live also mocked Walz and showed Harris cackling while drinking wine. Assuming the editorial control lies with the show runners and that they are solidly in the bag for the DNC the past 8 years or so…one has to wonder how that skit saw the light of day.
He’s no sketchier than her.
Politico has edited their headline to be softer on Walz.
I agree that it makes no sense they’d be reporting this stuff. I can speculate possible motives. They know the fix is in, and they know an October surprise is coming for Trump (my guess remains a revival of the Katie Johnson story or one just like it) and so they’re pretending to do a journalism so that they can claim to be fair and even-handed in their criticisms. That’s one possibility.
Another is that the internal polling data is so bad they can’t fake it. They can’t steal it without making it so plainly obvious they’d start a civil war. So get ahead of it, circle the wagons, and focus on making Trump a lame duck for his only remaining time in office. Lawfare, etc. Regain one or both houses in 2026, and retake the WH in 2028.
Of the two, I find the former more likely, but who knows.
