Politico is framing the “lack of vetting” as the reason Kamala Harris is now stuck with Tim Walz as a liability dragging down her campaign. The VP nominee is essentially outlined as a lying liar who lies, although they use the word “misspeak” frequently.
Strangely, or not, Politico never outlines that Tim Walz was specifically vetted by Eric Holder. As a consequence, if the political left is going to run with the excuse of failed vetting of Walz to explain Harris losing, they are essentially saying Eric Holder sunk Harris.
Key members of Harris’ circle weren’t aware of some of Walz’s inaccurate statements until they became public, despite the vetting process.

Something is askew in the world of the leftists because pointing out the vulnerabilities of a strategically important selection is never usually allowed.
Walz is transparently sketchy, that is a given. However, to see Politico highlight the Democrat VP nominee as a liar is a serious shift in traditional approach. If it was only this singular notation, then we might chalk it up to a rogue article posited to give the illusion of honest journalism. Alas, that’s not the case.

I’ve been of that same mindset for a while now. I believe they set up Biden knowing all along that he would be a One-Hit-Wonder, thus requiring them to inflict as much of their agenda in as short a time as possible. In this context Harris was the perfect fit as she was never destined to be anything more than a placeholder in the VP seat. Only surprise to them was how quickly Biden’s mental capacity faded, leaving them unprepared to offer up his uniparty approved replacement. They also seriously miscalculated Trump’s energy, both personally and that of his supporters. Now, after two failed attempts to remove him, they’ve resigned themselves to strategies involving hamstringing his presidency like they did the last time, only this time doing it as if they’re on steroids, as the only way to keep their grasp on power.
Trump was supposed to be in prison by now.

Something did something to the world. How have we reached the point where anyone is worried about fact-checking a liar?
I think we missed a step there which should have been FULL-STOP “liar here, and that’s all we need to know.”
Last time I saw that happen was Joe Biden’s crucifixion-by-media in 1987, with the televised, indelible montage of lies, and his withdrawal from the race to succeed Reagan.
The rot started soon after.
I still recall every bit of Biden’s utter disgrace on the national news, at the hands of Connie Chung, and the shock that he was ever considered for ANY office again after 1987 has never left me.
Obama was elected through misplaced hope and trust. Biden, even moreso than Bill Clinton, and maybe even than Obama, will be remembered as the final cynical, mendacious, frictionless vector-pipe through which America lost – or was robbed of – its basic integrity.
People forget that – in his day – Biden was as slick – maybe even slicker than Obama.
So now we have dementia, added to crafty, slick, stupid, arrogant, corrupt, racist, perverted, braggart jerk. That’s the legacy of the 46th “president,” to the lasting shame of a drowning nation.

VD Hansen was saying recently that Trump should revoke all security clearances for all who participated in the FISA spying and special counsel investigations including those 51 assholes signing those false statements. Also anyone who lied under oath.
I’ll go one step further: Trump should also revoke security clearances for anyone NOT in the Government who isn’t working directly on classified contracted projects. If a former President or cabinet member wants to access secure material they can request access for specific documents from whoever is responsible for storing them.
