Politico is framing the “lack of vetting” as the reason Kamala Harris is now stuck with Tim Walz as a liability dragging down her campaign. The VP nominee is essentially outlined as a lying liar who lies, although they use the word “misspeak” frequently.
Strangely, or not, Politico never outlines that Tim Walz was specifically vetted by Eric Holder. As a consequence, if the political left is going to run with the excuse of failed vetting of Walz to explain Harris losing, they are essentially saying Eric Holder sunk Harris.
Key members of Harris’ circle weren’t aware of some of Walz’s inaccurate statements until they became public, despite the vetting process.

Walz is transparently sketchy, that is a given. However, to see Politico highlight the Democrat VP nominee as a liar is a serious shift in traditional approach. If it was only this singular notation, then we might chalk it up to a rogue article posited to give the illusion of honest journalism. Alas, that’s not the case.

If they don’t endorse Harris and there’s an “open convention”, all those hundreds of millions are up for grabs. So: Harris, who is dumb as a doorknob but essentially FREE in terms of the money.
So now they have got a problem. They’ve overthrown Biden, but have a retard as their candidate. Nobody of any pedigree in the party wants anything to do with her. Not Newsom. Not the AZ guy. Shapiro is a Jew, and the Dem base would have lost their shit if he had been picked.
But they’re running out of time. They have to try and make Harris plausible before delegates vote. She NEEDS a VP. So they hurriedly “vet” Elmer Fudd thinking he’s just Bernie Sanders.
MN is reliably blue, the only state that went for Mondale in the Reagan ‘84 landslide. Yeah, Mondale was from there, but the problems of MN are its blue color. In states like that, lies by Democrats are covered up, called “conspiracy theories”, whatever it takes to protect the Democrat.
Did they fail to vet him? Or did they just assume the cone of silence – the conspiracy of silence – that surrounds all Democrats was a sign of no problems?

There was always a plan to swap out Biden, but not with Kamala Harris. They got stuck with Kamala Harris, because that was demanded by South Carolina congressman Jim Clyburn, who controls the AME political machine that counts the votes in the five swing city/counties. The Obama/Biden/Harris crowd hates Israel. Bibi knows this all too well. He also knows that given a fair election, the likely winner is not Harris.

If you interfere in the election, to the point that Harris is ‘ballot harvested’ into the WH, versus winning fairly, I will blow up the oil fields in Iran. The only time this entire Politico article mentioned the word “lie” was when they quoted the Harris/Walz campaign referring to how Trump and Vance “repeatedly lie”. They use the words inaccuracies and misstatements to soften the language describing Walz’s “comments”. US Congressman Jim Banks of Indiana is demanding the Pentagon investigate whether the Minnesota governor complied with foreign travel reporting requirements “for his security clearance during his many trips,” some of which took place while he was a senior ranking member of his state’s Army National Guard.
In a letter to the Pentagon Tuesday, Republican Banks called the situation “an obvious security risk.”
Walz was a visiting fellow at the CCP-sanctioned Macau Polytechnic University until at least 2007, according to public filings and press reports. The school was established in 1981 and subscribes to the vision of China’s Belt and Road Initiative — a massive infrastructure program that is the cornerstone of Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s aggressive pursuit of influence overseas.
“We do this in alignment with China’s Belt and Road Initiative,” reads a statement from Marcus Im Sio Kei, the rector of the Macau Polytechnic University, on the school’s website. “We are committed to cultivate talented individuals to serve the country and Macau.”
During that first trip, Walz spent a year teaching under the auspices of World Teach, a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based nonprofit that sends volunteers to teach in developing countries. The group, which was started by former Harvard University students, has partnered with Changsha Yuanjing Education Consulting Limited, a company affiliated with China’s Ministry of Public Security, according to public records.

“Any individual traveling dozens of times to an adversary nation in a personal capacity while having access to classified information poses an obvious security risk,” Banks wrote in the Aug. 12 letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. “An individual with a clearance should have had the good judgement not to engage in such travel in the first place, and any superiors or security officers for that individual are obliged to prevent such risky behavior.”
US service members are ordered to report on such trips, but “especially” so when dealing with an adversarial country, and are “required to complete debriefing questionnaires” and report any suspicious behavior they encountered, said Banks.
It’s not clear if Walz reported his trips to China to his superiors in the National Guard. Requests for comment were not returned Wednesday.
“The obvious question is did Walz have a [security] clearance and at what level?” said Scissors.
