Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff reportedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend by hitting her in the face so hard “she spun around”, according to a bombshell new exclusive by the Daily Mail.
Emhoff allegedly struck the woman, referred to as “Jane,” in the face while waiting in a valet line after a 2012 Cannes Film Festival event, according to the DailyMail.com.
Jane, a New York attorney, reportedly called a friend sobbing in a cab after the incident and told others about the alleged assault at the time. Friends provided photos and documents from 2012 to support parts of the story but chose to remain anonymous, citing fear of retaliation.
Jane’s friends said she received tickets from wealthy connections to attend the exclusive amfAR Gala Dinner at Hotel du Cap in Antibes, France, on May 24, 2012.
The alleged assault occurred after the event, where celebrities like Heidi Klum and Harvey Weinstein were present. Jane, who brought Emhoff as her guest, later called a friend sobbing, saying her date had hit her.
The friend recalled Jane describing how Emhoff slapped her after she offered a valet money to skip a taxi line, which he misinterpreted as flirting.
‘She slapped him back. My impression is that he had a lot to drink. She was sobbing [on the phone afterwards], but she wasn’t slurring her words. She told me that she broke up with him that night,’ one friend told the Daily Mail.
A second friend, also a New York attorney, said Jane recounted the incident, describing how Emhoff slapped her out of nowhere around 2-3 a.m. after a pleasant evening.
‘She said she wanted to go back to the hotel without him. But while she was shutting the door, he forced himself into the car, which she did not want.’ the friend said.
Jane was embarrassed and described it as a “trailer trash moment,” realizing it revealed his true character.

Just saw a video of lady in Tennessee saying she got notice from TEMA (FEMA) telling people not to do anything… but to donate money.
She said the local people are clearing roads… etc ,as they cannot wait. Also to donate to churches not fema to ensure the people who need help get it.
Also, a man from Florida arrived in NC Sunday and that he and a buddy have been helping… flying a private helecopter and fueling it 4 times yesterday at their own expense.
He said that he and his buddy saved the baby (and a woman) that the news had reported to have been saved by government!
He said that there needs to be national guard Or other flying over mountain areas to save people; as they cannot be gotten to. Said he talked to some National Guards who said they cannot fly without the order.
He said he called a Florida Congress woman and some help should arrive tomorrow, but still no helicopters.

actually, the lesson from Helene is the opposite from that being promoted. In 1933, the Tennessee Valley Authority was given the mandate for flood control in the valley of the Tennessee River and its tributaries. Over the next 40 years, they built 49 dams, which, for the most part, accomplished their goal. Whereas floods in the Tennessee were once catastrophic, younger people are mostly unaware of them. The French Broad River (Asheville) is an upstream tributary where flood control dams weren’t constructed due to local opposition. Rather than the devastation of Hurricane Helene on Asheville illustrating the effect of climate change, the success of the flood control dams in other sectors of the Tennessee Valley illustrates the success of the TVA flood control program where it is implemented. Hurricane Helene did not show the effect of climate change, but what happens to settlements in Tennessee Valley tributaries under “natural” flooding (i.e. where flood control dams have been rejected.)

That was fast.
There is a fatal admission on Page 9 of Jack Smith’s filing.
The background to understand the importance of the admission is that Smith is saying (like the J6 Cmte before him) that Trump’s criminal state of mind is established by the fact that many Trump advisors told him that he had lost the 2020 election.
That theory has always been ridiculous because advisors are just that — they advise — the President decides. Their advice is not imputable/attributable to the President’s state of mind.
But there is a little parenthetical on Page 9 that these advisors “were telling the truth that he [Trump] **did not want to hear**—that he had lost ….”
This inherently confesses that Trump disagreed with his advisors telling him he’d lost. That right there negates “the criminal mind” or what lawyers call scienter.
And without the requisite scienter or intent, Trump cannot legally be convicted of a crime.
Trump’s only “crime” is believing that he won the 2020 election, something many Americans both sophisticated and ordinary agree with.
+3 I am only 20 pages deep into the document, but I don’t see how any of the discussions with the President, including his private advisors, can escape the evidence ban of the exclusionary rule established in Trump v United States.
While driving home, I listened to Nicolle Wallace. She had the standard JournoLawfare™️ types on.
Two errors were easy to spot:
1) Harry Litman opined that anything any witness told them Trump said to them automatically comes in as evidence at a possible trial. Wrong. He’s thinking only in terms of party admissions. He’s ignoring the Trump v U.S. exclusionary rule about consultations inside the Executive Branch.
2) Lisa Rubin opined that Trump cannot claim immunity for any of his contacts with state or local officials. That is also wrong. I don’t know what these people learned in law school. And in any event, apart from general principles, to see that is wrong, one simply has to read Trump v U.S.
A) It’s plain that the President can conduct intergovernmental relations and that is therefore a part of his official job duties.
B) As the Chief Law Enforcer of the country, if a federal election has been tainted by violations of state/local law, of course the President can raise questions and suggest to state/local officials courses of action he recommends as a result. Relatedly, he can also use federal law enforcement officers that report to him to investigate problems in any State before, during, or after a federal election.
Both of these categories of duties are either core Executive Branch functions or certainly well within the outer perimeter of the President’s duties and thus are either absolutely or presumptively immune.
It’s misleading in the extreme for MSNBC viewers to be told by purported legal experts (really just puffed up Democrats with Esq. after their names) that Trump doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
That’s a species of the same lie they told MSM viewers before the Supreme Court immunity decision. A no brainer, they said, that Trump has no immunity.

After a day of news I wanted something amusing if not funny. I find this gem.
The media has been holding this CCP connected Kamala Emhoff character out as some new paragon of male virtue. Former Press Sec Psaki recently interviewed Emhoff, in which she gushed that he was like “Mr. Wife”! ( apparently cucks have been given a new salutation!! ) and Emhoff lapping it up with clasped hands leans forward to Jen, and says
“Well, I’ve just always been like that. I feel you have to support women.”
Turns out? While married to his last wife with young child, he got busted for inflagrante delicto with his kids nanny. Ha! Who proceeded to become pregnant and purportedly had the child too.
Uh, oh – but now it comes out that awhile back he was seen and slapped or punched in the face, a former girlfriend at an AmFar event at the Hotel du Cap South of France. Drunk, of course. Why? Because he believed at the time his girlfriend was ( wait ) “hitting on the valet parking guy!”.

I don’t think you guys are understanding how **** insane the response is in North Carolina.
Here in Florida, IMMEDIATELY after a storm, the first and foremost priority is saving people that are trapped. No red tape, no chain of command bs, no waiting for a go-ahead. It’s just everyone working together to save those that are trapped. Period. Civilians work side by side with first responders and law enforcement to save fellow residents and I’ve never once in my 37 years here heard of anyone being turned away from helping.
I understand there’s a disconnect from truly grasping what’s going on here because y’all don’t live through storms like this every single year but I’m telling you as someone who has- this is **** insane.
