So they get what the government labels a refund, but it’s pure vote buying with other people’s money. Refund implies a return of funds already paid. In the case you mention, nothing has been paid in.
Credits are money given by government whether you paid taxes…..you could have paid say $500 in Fed. tax for the year but still get the $5000 included in your refund. It is a gift from taxpayers who do not get a refund.
Yes it comes down to this, the schoolgirls have to fight this battle alone. There are too many older Americans dead set on allowing perverted men to play sports against women, and to invade other women’s spaces.

However, all I was doing was responding to Sync’s post where he/she stated that the media has covered the Iranian attack on Israel way more than the earlier Israeli attacks that killed civilians. Sync commented that this was “wild” – which gave the impression that he/she was wondering why this was the case.
I believe that Sync was hinting that the media was pro-Israel and was covering “incoming” hostilities more than “outgoing” as a result.
My response offered another possible reason (the dangerous escalation) for this imbalanced reporting.
My last sentence was just a snark pointing out that it was likely that Sync’s implied question was rhetorical rather than sincere.

The lack of verifiable sources and reportage on articles like that make them difficult for me. They remind me of those sites I have occasionally viewed by an errant “click” like “Real Raw News” that has famous Pols in shootouts to evade capture with those referred to as “white hats” etc.

These people are crazy! The article, authored by Joe Navarro, a body language expert who worked with the FBI, went through eight body language cues from the debate. He touted his time with the national security division’s elite behavioral analysis program and began his analysis with Vance’s beard, which he said “matters.” In his analysis, he claimed that — to women particularly — a beard can appear to be more threatening, conveying what he described as “aggression and opposition to feminist ideals.”
He wrote:

As POLITICO Magazine has noted before, Vance is the first White House wannabe to wear facial hair in 80 years.
