Tonight, Vice Presidential candidates JD Vance and Tim Walz will debate for 90 minutes in New York. The debate is being simulcast by CBS and will be moderated by Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan.
The debate is scheduled to begin at 9:00pm ET and run until 10:30pm ET. The debate will be in Studio 45 at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York. There will be 4 breaks for commercials. Vance is using a very effective technique of disarming Vance and the moderators by agreeing with them first and then delivering the attack line. It confuses them and throws them off balance. It forces Walz to reciprocate so it looks like Vance is directing the debate.
