The second presidential debate of the 2024 election year, but the first debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris takes place tonight in Philadelphia, hosted by ABC News at 9:00pm ET.
The entire corporate media system has been assisting the Kamala Harris campaign to establish a preferential narrative while simultaneously covering Harris’s exit from all prior positions. Harris has been prepping with the Obama team, and she is expected to play the race and gender card as much as possible.
The debate is being simulcast by multiple media outlets, carried on PBS and broadcast on Newsmax as well as other alternative platforms. A few of those livestream options are presented below.

PA is not leaning Trump in the “after the debate” picture. Weird as the 3 different undecided PA voters I saw from post-debate CBS and CNN clips were all in favor of Trump. Not sure where they came up with the decision to change PA from leaning Trump to a toss up after that debate. Although I think Trump won because he was debating Kamala AND the moderators and was constantly fact-checked while she was left to say whatever whopper she wanted, at best it may have appeared as a tie between the two to the uninformed. A tie would not shift from leaning Trump to a toss up in PA, unless they think a tie is a win for Kamala? BS in my opinion.

As a Native New Yorker I am outraged that Kamala promoted the lie that the Central Park 5 were “exonerated”. What an unnecessary, bald-faced lie for a supposed prosecutor to announce to the world in a national debate. Those 5 are guilty as hell. That a sixth rapist admitted his own guilt after the statute of limitations ran out doesn’t mean the other 5 were not guilty. I’ve had this same feeling many times when I thought something did not go well for Trump….and then over the next day or two it backfires or turns into a big Trump advantage for some reason.

President Trump allowed her to get under his skin from the get-go. That was her handlers intentions. Trump was not at his best last night. It was hard to endure.
You are correct concerning abortion and it having always been a State Constitutional issue. When is someone going to say the baby in the womb is not part of the woman’s body?! A woman has the right to do anything she wants with her body, but not the body of the baby she is supposed to be the loving host to. It needs to be labeled infanticide because that is definitely accurate and the term “murder”, though correct, turns off the audience.
Trump repeated his accurate claim that she/Biden let in millions of illegal aliens. He could have been much better if he had given numbers and specific incidences of illegal crimes. He was too broad and non-specific.
As to the claims of losing the 2020 election, Trump could have easily cited the various forms of forensic evidence, video, data tracking and analysis, as well as illegal ballots not printed on the correct paper causing reading errors, deliberately allowing the precinct judge to mark the ballots as they chose. All these demonstrated the steal. He could have pointed out that he did not lose court cases, but we in fact refused to be heard by Obama judges.
With the known bias of ABC sNews, Trump should not have agreed to them as a host for the debate. He stepped in it, and holding his nose was insufficient.

Trump did not lose any of his supporters last night which means we are still with him. After Camel Ho talked about people leaving his rallies early, I do believe that hiss rallies going forward will be BIGGER and BETTER than ever. She will hide until the elections, so somehow Trump must plan a way to draw her out into the spotlight. The VP debate might be the one that decides this election.

I never fully understand the weird reactions to simple criticisms of these types of performances. While it is mutually understood that Trump means well, he does not have a record of performing well in debates. Again, who is coaching and vetting him for these performances and why does he seemingly not listen? This was his chance to make her own all of the poor policy coming from that camp from the Antifa funding all the way through present day, yet he spent most of his time defending himself on personal attacks. Do you think any of this helps settle Independent voters who are on the fence about who to vote for? Biden was to stay in as long as possible, but once his mental state could no longer be hidden, it was decided that he needed to leave. It is entirely possible that his handlers wanted him out before the end of the first term and it was to be done with the least damage to his credibility as possible as to protect down-ballot candidates.
By the time the summer debate rolled around, Biden’s mental capacity was akin to that of a child. Crediting Trump with ending his political career is therefore a bit of a stretch.
Which brings me to my next point: This absurdity should have been drawn to attention also during the debate. Anytime Harris answers with “democracy this, democracy that” all voters should be reminded that a small group of insiders illustrated a takeover of the party – with notable similarities to Chicago ‘68 – precisely to prevent a democratic election of a Dem candidate for a general election. That surely would have been a great start! There are so many issues which have could have been brought up, just as an example: “We inherited a bad economy.” Where have we heard that before? That was O’s talking point during the first four years of his presidency and he never missed an opportunity to rub that into everybody’s face.
Trump could have easily dismantled that whole argument, beginning with the failure of her to take responsibility for anything which happened on her watch. That alone would have been devastating. That could have brilliantly been followed with statistics highlighting his point (prices of commodities, falsities in unemployment reporting, economic issues) and lastly stating what he would do in order to correct all that has gone wrong. Harris cannot come back from anything of that nature because she isn’t running on policy; she is running on an image of likability and a manufactured brand image. It’s disgusting, but easily brought to attention when handled correctly!
Maybe you can volunteer to show him how it’s done.

I did not watch the debate. If she wins, I do not know what I will do. It will be the end of this county. I’m very scared.
I could not watch. I had this bad feeling about 30 minutes before and I had planned to watch. It was instinct. He took their bait but I honestly am not sure how he could have done any differently. Seems he missed many opportunities to set it straight.
A debate between her and Vivek would have been the most amazing feat in history. Too bad Trump didn’t get Vivek to be the moderators and HER for debate prep.
I think at this point, I’d do town halls, my rallies, my podcast, my interviews and eff the media with debates that have slanted moderators………….which they would all be.

Is he up to the task, yes. But my husband watched and he was very disappointed and at the end before bed he said, I hope President Trump is okay, he seemed so off and rambly and could not stay on what he was speaking about. I also hope he is okay

Do you ever look at the astroturfers (or other useful idiots out there) and try to put yourself in their shoes? What has to go wrong in your life to make you think that such behavior is worthwhile? Are they living in destitution, maybe? So poor that they’re willing to serve as propagandists in exchange for a few pennies? Maybe they’re college kids who are disregarding their studies in exchange for a little handout from the political group who hired them. Exchanging their future for a few coins today – like an idiot.
Trump did fine in the debate. He wasn’t as brutal to Harris as he has been to others in the past, but there’s no denying that he handled her like any other globalist chump who has tried to face him. I look forward to voting for Trump & Vance in November!

With all due respect (because I believe I have seen your name before), most of the comments discussed are not in the category of legitimate criticism – far from it. They are indeed “drive-bys.”
Fact is, no one who has not been confronted with 3 against 1 in a hostile environment and managed to get through and still get many good points across, plus a couple of good zingers, can make any sort of argument that PDJT “shoulda” said this, “shoulda” said that.

None of the Trump supporters criticizing his performance last night that I’ve read on here are trolls, here to cast doubt. The name-calling and childish cult-like criticisms aimed at them are not a legitimate defense of Trump. Those doing it are not advocating, but bullying. Some of them have expressed opinions that rest on the notion that Trump’s choosing to align with RFK Jr. represents very bad judgment on his part, that with their greater intelligence and insight they would never choose. Same with Vance for VP.
Critics of Trump’s performance last night recognize that it was 3 and more against one: it was the whole of the msm-constructed reality of lies against Trump. He knew that going in, too. And yet, speaking for myself, he was not prepared or focused enough to not take the bait and was on the defensive. Observations such as these by Trump supporters are not troll behavior, whether ones impression of last night agrees with them or not. If supporting and voting for Trump is being a “useful idiot,” count me in.

I had one prediction yesterday, and unfortunately, it came true. I was afraid that Trump would in a heated moment, say that the immigrants at a pet dog.
As soon as he said it, I thought, he did go there. And her reaction was exactly what I thought it would be. And now, that will be the thing that will haunt us until November.
He could have said, there are reports from the town that they are going to the local park and grabbing geese and bringing them back to wherever they live.
The fact that she was able to call him a disgrace, indirectly, 3 times made me sick. HIs answer was pure Trump, I fired those people, and the fact that she didn’t fire anyone.
There were just so many times he could have been more clear. I love DJT, I despise KH. I cannot bare the though of her winning. All of us who know the facts, understand her lies and misrepresentations. The Afghanistan thing. The moderator asking about the ceremony in DC for the 13 at Abbey Gate made me sick. SHE WASN’T THERE for the ceremony! She has been nowhere around those families.

Interesting. I was reading SilverSunday’s post above and thinking that my thoughts are/were the same. I watched the debate and really wanted PDJT to decisively win like we all know he is capable of. But, IMO, he didn’t.
I also was not happy when he brought up the dogs and cats thing – most Americans have no idea what he is talking about and the way it transpired and how KH jumped all over it did not IMO go over well.
I completely agree with what SilverSunday wrote and had the same “down in the dumps”-type of morning.
And then, I read Jazzbogie’s attack response. Wow. I recognize Jazzbogie’s name, so I know this poster is a regular here. But, I don’t get the attack.
I certainly am no Democrat. Am about as MAGA Conservative as possible. I love PDJT and will vote for him no matter what. I despise Nikki Haley almost as much as I do both Biden and KH.

If I were a brand new reader/poster here and read all the attacks on people who voiced their opinion that PT had a less than sterling performance, I’d immediately move on.
I didn’t watch the debate, but my husband did, and he didn’t think PT was at his best. He’s not a dem, he’s not a fed, he’s just telling me what he saw. Get over yourself.

I watched all of it. Very painful and frustrating. Harris spewing same tired old lies and innuendoes. Trump dealing in generalities when specifics were begging to be heard. Neither side got credit for any “zingers” that would have moved the needle. I feel for those that are still struggling in deciding who to vote for. Also don’t understand how anyone can be undecided. Neither debater got a win or a loss. Just around 2 hours of the same ol’ same ol’.
It’s my opinion that Trump did not win that debate. Trump did not lose that debate. Thanks to no real “deer in the headlights” moments some will say Harris won because she managed to escape relatively unharmed. In the end I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life that I’ll never get back watching that debate.

The moderators were unfair and biased. He was debating three people.
Kamala’s performance was canned. By that I mean she had the questions before hand and she knew the order of the questions, she had pat, memorized answers that she had practiced over and over with gestures. There was nothing spontaneous or real. She was not sincere, she did not pause to think.
The gay moderator and Kamala acted in tandem and appeared to have practiced their act together.
Her facial expressions when PDJT was speaking were horrible. I see why over 90% of her staff quit, she’s a real bitch.
She was rude and classless.
She is high strung and emotional. Her shaky voice especially in the beginning is a tell. I would bet good money she was on beta blockers.
She is 5’ 3”. How did they manage to make her look the same height as PJDT who is 6’3”? There are no 12 inch heels. She must have had a box or a raised floor. ABC cheated.
She had a “baby size”podium and the Blob Media manipulated the cameras to make her look larger.

Read the Lincoln – Douglas Debates!
Those were not “side-by-side press conferences,” but involved ideas, which were explored in depth, because the speakers were allowed a great amount of time to speak!
People in 1858 had longer attention spans!
“In each debate either Douglas or Lincoln would open with an hour address. The other would then speak for an hour and a half. The first then had 30 minutes of rebuttal. In the seven debates, Douglas, as the incumbent, was allowed to go first four times.”

The coming administration can make a good case to strip the networks of all their over-the-air licenses. I think we should push that idea, just in case there is another “debate,” because this 3-on-1 bs is malicious. Maybe the networks will be a bit more circumspect about pushing their bias.
Btw, the memes and clips that come out of this debate may well convince a few more dems to not vote, or even switch their vote. She really was that bad, but it will take time for that filter into the public consciousness.

How still gets their news from MSM outlets? I would speculate not many and none of my adult children (early – late 20s)… MSM is the weak and sick of the herd.
I don’t believe anyone under 40 watches TV News or gets the paper. I’m not sure how many between 40 and 50 do either. The only people I ever encounter that mention TV or cable news are over 50.
Some of those podcasts will reach millions of voting age people that don’t watch TV but stream content, binge Netflix etc. I’m assuming there were few if any votes to flip viewing last night because most seniors are pretty set in their politics.

It was weird that Kamala came out saying how Trump would be name calling and then calls Trump a Liar first thing.

Weirder was Trump’s one closed eye when he started. Like a twitch, like something SUPER upsetting happened timed to just before he went on OR they spiked his drink with whatever they’ve been giving disoriented Joe OR he was actually trying to appear easily discombobulated, so Kamala and her ilk would be open to another debate in October.
I feel like it’s the latter.
Viewers who were afraid to open their bubble to hear Kamala speak unscripted, or afraid of what Trump might reveal, that which could blow holes in their carefully constructed narrative and mindset, may now let their guard down.
Kamala even invited people, actually invited them, to go hear Trump speak at one of his rallies, including assuring them they would see people get bored and leaving early. Feel good bait for her spiteful brethren for sure.
They just might go OR, in the least, tune their now relaxed psyches into a Trump interview OR an October debate and see a lucid Trump full of stats and facts their cracked open brains will no longer be able to deny.
PDJT’s rallies are all easily available online for anybody curious who can’t go in person (I still haven’t gotten there for various physical reasons, but have watched many over the years).
