The second presidential debate of the 2024 election year, but the first debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris takes place tonight in Philadelphia, hosted by ABC News at 9:00pm ET.
The entire corporate media system has been assisting the Kamala Harris campaign to establish a preferential narrative while simultaneously covering Harris’s exit from all prior positions. Harris has been prepping with the Obama team, and she is expected to play the race and gender card as much as possible.
The debate is being simulcast by multiple media outlets, carried on PBS and broadcast on Newsmax as well as other alternative platforms. A few of those livestream options are presented below.

Oddly, the most decisive strategy for winning this debate might be to simply let Harris speak. President Trump should consider yielding all his time to her, every question. Her collapse into chaos will be absolute, leaving nothing but the ashes of her own undoing. This may be a case where less Trump is more. His stance has already been well-established through numerous interviews, rallies, and social media. Conversely, her political platform remains unclear, and she is the one who needs to articulate her own views. He has nothing to lose, and possibly a lot to gain, by simply letting her do the talking. Legacy media will be scrambling to rewrite their stories for the next day, as they will have lost their only remaining angle of attack (Trump’s “lies”); the focus would be on Harris trying to attack Trump’s platform, but being unable to string together a coherent sentence while cackling and nodding manically in an attempt to mask her own unravelling. President Trump doesn’t need to dignify this clown show by offering any kind of responses except the occasional sympathetic glance over in her direction. Just my opinion, freshly brewed and slightly undercooked.

I agree 100%!! In the sad spectacle called a “debate” with Slow Joe in June, President Trump did a great job just letting Joe talk, and making clear from his facial expressions that most of what he was hearing were the unintelligible ramblings of a man in the middle stages of dementia.
He needs to do the same thing tonight – force Kamala to use ALL of time to “explain” her policies – don’t give her the opportunity to snark or attack, because she will be prepared for that! I hope DJT has practiced his puzzled face so when she goes “word salad” it will be obvious to everyone just by looking at him (although I doubt they will utilize the split screen, for that very reason).

I’m with you; my wife wants to watch it. But why? It’s a set up. Yeah, she sucks…but the two moderating, coupled with more than likely a hidden ear piece, and the week long prep….more than likely with the questions….it’s just a set up for clips and sound bites. I agree with many- just let her talk.

I’m not sure I can watch this. No matter how it goes President Trump will be vilified, mocked and declared the loser. I remember how they did that the first time he debated Biden in 2020. I thought he did great, yet all I heard was how he lost, how he was too argumentative and should not have interrupted Biden.
Even people I know who said they supported President Trump thought he lost that debate. It makes one question their judgement or their sanity at times.
Maybe I will watch the rerun or read the reports here. I have a lot of respect for those of you who watch and post.

This debate is fairly predictable. Harris will lie repeatedly, speak in Word Salad-see, and be as vague and vacuous as you would expect.
President Trump will rebut many of those lies, speak directly about specific policy issues and will clearly run circles around Madam Roundheels.
Afterwards the media will unanimously declare Kackling Kamala the winner and demand that President Trump concede.
It’s all part of the show. Everyone has a part to play. Our part is to stay calm, don’t get angry and clearly tell everyone we know the true differences between the candidates. Pray continually and vote when it’s time.
