The second presidential debate of the 2024 election year, but the first debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris takes place tonight in Philadelphia, hosted by ABC News at 9:00pm ET.
The entire corporate media system has been assisting the Kamala Harris campaign to establish a preferential narrative while simultaneously covering Harris’s exit from all prior positions. Harris has been prepping with the Obama team, and she is expected to play the race and gender card as much as possible.
The debate is being simulcast by multiple media outlets, carried on PBS and broadcast on Newsmax as well as other alternative platforms. A few of those livestream options are presented below.

I’m surprised Harris did not also bring up the “Suckers and Losers” hoax. The moderators let her get away with Charlottesville though.
She did allude to that when she mentioned McCain and then went on to solilogize that we should be respectful of our veterans, yadda yadda .

I look at how Harris appeared. As a woman, I disagree with the pundits from Fox News and elsewhere. Kamala did not “win.” She appeared like that person in middle school who bullied others. Her evil and besmirching looks at Trump were horrible. As a woman, I can’t use the term here, but I’m certain many woman watching saw what I saw, and don’t want that type of “woman” running our country.
Relying on the moderators to get her thru the debate made her look weak. They were like training wheels on her bike! She wasn’t able to stand on her own two feet and discuss her policies. Remember Margaret Thatcher? Now that was a strong woman. Kammy’s is like a floosy at a bar counting on the bouncers to protect her. Putin would pulverize her.

I think people should go over the TIMER in reviewing the debate, and make an ISSUE over it.

This January, a repeat felon in the city of Chicago was caught with a firearm. The felon, Cordarrow Thompson, was on early release from his 8 year sentence, given in 2020, for assault with a firearm by a felon.
This man had already, five times in his life, been convicted of unlawfully using firearms to harm others. Here he was for a sixth time, in a city that claims it is hard on gun crimes, with an illegally possessed gun.
I haven’t been able to find details about the firearm he had, but any gun in this situation should have sent him back to prison for the other five years of his sentence, and gotten him convicted for another 8 to 15 years for felon in possession of a firearm.
Instead? They released him without charges.
Well, as any thinking person would expect, he went and got not one, but two other firearms, illegally. At least one of which was illegally modified to be a machine pistol, and both of which were equip with drum magazines that are illegal in Illinois.
Which this obvious example of who shouldn’t have guns used to rob people.
At the end of July, some of Thompson’s intended victims turned out to be a cop and a detective. When the cop shot him for the threats, Thompson unloaded nearly 70 rounds into him.

Trump’s greatness lies in knowing who he is, not becoming what someone else thinks he should be, what the pundits say he should be and just putting all his chips on the table – the bet being himself, his own personality, strategy, tactics and his personal vision about how to achieve it. Within my household who are all Trump supporters, we were disappointed in Trump’s performance. This should have been like Mike Tyson boxing a child, but Harris made a reasonable showing despite not saying anything of substance which is typical for her.
He knew ABC would be on her side and she probably had the questions beforehand. Trump was not prepared with preplanned concise statements to ridicule their policies. He only had that “I’m speaking now” little dig from her 2020 debate.
When she mentioned the sovereignty of Ukraine, Trump should have asked her, “what about the sovereignty of our nation? You’ve let hordes cross our border and I guess that wasn’t fast enough for you so you flew over a half million illegals into our country–all on the taxpayer’s dime, put them up in hotels, paying them welfare while denying our citizens and particularly veterans the very basics in care. He talked alot about the border and the illegals and the crime, but he kept repeating the same thing over and over.
When she mentioned energy, he never made the point that we were energy independent when he left office and they immediately through executive orders destroyed all that and then sold off much of our oil reserve to lower prices as a political stunt.
I could rant on. Trump won the debate but it was like Alabama beating Slippery Rock 31 to 28 vice 73 to 0. This could have gone so much better.

Couple things I would have liked to have heard
Wish Trump would have mentioned how many of his border EO’s they got rid of on day one
Mention fentanyl
Didnt mentioned she basically hasn’t been to the border
Defend why he was against the border bill….. IE how many people were allowed in each day, instead of basically just letting it slide.
Been nice for him to point out the 13 kids who died parents have n3ver heard from her or Biden
In short, he was defensive and repetitive.
I did like his closing statement, just feel he missed a lot of chances to really flay her. Also loved his comment about her being in Ukraine, and 2 days later Russia attacked
Regards Kamala, she lied, and constantly.
Her hand on her chin thing was a disgusting prop, she came across as fake.
In the end few bruises on both tonight, but no blood was drawn.
Trump was not debating Harris, he was debating the moderators while Harris jeered from the sidelines.
I did like him shutting her up with “I’m speaking!”.
It really doesn’t matter if he failed to get in every possible point. Most people already know who best supports the issues they care about.
People who like Trump still like Trump. Everything they heard confirmed their opinion.
People who hate Trump still hate Trump. Everything they heard confirmed their opinion.
People who don’t think enough about politics to care either way were probably not watching and won’t listen to the follow up either.
The only people who might be swayed either way were those who were on the fence and were only watching to see which candidate is more likeable and relatable. Kamala probably hurt herself by being so snarky and condescending and for being way too slippery.
Unless follow up is presented as emotionally engaging pic or video memes.
Typical political ads are boring, dated and u persuasive turn offs.
Indulging too many “I wish Trump would do this” requests == too much debate clutter for normies to remember which would threateni the whole point of the debate ie
WINNING enuf Electoral College Votes to be re elected and inaugurated.

Kamala’s likability is zero and so is her personality. Trump won.

At the end of the day, Trump did a great job making his case. Yes, we can all think of things we wished he had said, or the missed opportunities or points. But he succeeded in making the debate about the failed administration of Biden/Harris. Harris came off as superficial, pouty, and manipulative. The more the debate went on, the nastier Kamala became. She excelled at personal attacks while accusing Trump of being a divider.
Everyone could see with their own eyes and hear with their own ears that the moderators were there to bolster Kamala Harris as much as they possibly could. The disdain by the moderators was palpable. This will all be detailed later in clips and analysis.
I’m happy with Trump’s performance. He kept his base rock solid. He was passionate, engaged, and the gladiator of the stage. Harris was a weak, manipulative, and lying puppet. She had nothing of substance to say. Now she will just go into hiding again and hope to skate through to the election without ever having to take an interview again.

The most telling aspect of the debate, and, yes, I endured the whole of it, beer and popcorn well at hand, was the many times Muir and his colleague interjected themselves into the debate, in defense of Harris, or in opposition to Trump. Reminded me of the 2012 debate between Mittens and Obama, where Candy Crowley came to the aid of Obama (“Read the transcripts, Candy”).
When are the Republicans going to learn how to properly respond to such bias?:
“Whoa, Sweet Pea, I’m not here to debate you, I’m here to debate my opponent.”
