Meanwhile the few of us who remain are on the other side of that splintering door; veins bulging, muscles strained, pushing and holding back with all our might against every surge and attack wave…. and Zuckerberg nervously says, “whoops, sorry for dropping the drawbridge guys.” Good grief Mark, shut up and grab an axe now!

The issue is the Republic. Forgiving traitors to the Republic sends the message that the Republic does not matter and that all the harm that traitor do to the Republic does not matter especially if enough time passes by. You have got to be joking. The left is wanting to throw Trump in prison for over 100 years for what equates to ripping a tag off a mattress and you want to talk about forgiveness.
Will this be the new buzz word from the left as the November election nears ? or will they wait until Harris gets crushed by Trump ?
The mea culpa rings hollow. While I think the assassination attempt and Trump’s reaction – Fight! Fight! Fight! – made many in tech rethink their position on Trump. And here’s the, BUT… But there is no way I believe Zuck has changed his actual position at all. No way the man behind Zuckbucks in 2020 is changing his view or how his company will react to censorship requests.
Read the last line in paragraph three. The same batch of underlings that work to get posts removed or censored will still have their jobs in a Trump administration. For as much talk about draining the swamp, it’s an impossible task in four years, let alone months after he’s elected. There are too many low level bueracrats to fire. It can’t happen in a short amount of time.

That’s how impeachments begin. With that stuff right there. Think Mike Johnson is doing anything to stop it? Or maybe I’m too deep in the weeds and this is a delusional, fever dream scenario.

Here is why I don’t believe his apology is authentic…
A friend of mine has a “private group page” on FB where 200+ friends exchange political ideas and articles.
FB will go back years to find something to use as an excuse to put me in forced Administrative review. They have done it three times already over humorous memes, historical quotes about freedom or government that they don’t like, and opinion articles by people they want banned (ie Shellenberger or anti mrna vax doctors).
If Zuck was really sorry…he would have acted on his statement to have FB quit harassing people over basic free speech posts.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
I do not hear an apology or confession at all from him. All I hear is deflection of blame, playing the victim and denial that he did anything wrong.
