I was thinking back to 2016 election. When Hillary did not do any campaigning the entire month of August because she was so confident the election was hers. They didn’t take Trump seriously and by the time they figured out he wasn’t a joke it was too late to implement the steal. And yes, I think stealing elections has been going on for years. Its the only explanation for how some of the worse politicians keep getting elected for decades.
The debate was a set-up for a reason to kick Biden to the curb because they knew there was no way he could win. But I think they didn’t figure Joe would dig in and refuse to step aside for several weeks. The timing (July & August) is critical to get the steal in place. Past history shows that they could not get the steal in place in September (after Hillary returned from vacation) because Trump won. I think Joe put a real monkey wrench in their plan (a final middle finger to them for pushing him out) . So its a scramble for democrats, throw Kamala in fast, to get the money and wheels in motion for a steal.
So I think they will absolutely attempt a steal, I am not so sure they actually had enough time to get it in place.
