The media construct around the political campaign of Kamala Harris took a big hit today when Harris held a campaign event in Raleigh, North Carolina, but did not have a big-name music star to bring the crowds. As a result, only a few dozen supporters showed up to hear the preliminary economic plan of Kamala Harris.
The official crowd size was listed at 109 participants, including media as Kamala read from a teleprompter at the event.
Harris has pledged price controls for groceries, which will drive up the price of groceries. Harris has pledged $25,000 in down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers, which will drive up the price of housing. And Harris has pledged to use taxpayer funds to build 5 million residential housing units for low-income illegal aliens.

Exactly! I think this will be the last year for anyone wanting, to be able to plant an orchard. Everyone should have at least one fruit, and nut tree.
If Kamala wins there won’t be any food, and prices will be out of reach for many. Start planting a garden, and planting some fruit trees while farmers can still afford to produce the tree stock, and if you can afford it get trees that fruit at different times of the year.
Example, in my garden autumn/winter are citrus of all varieties to eat fresh and dry for powder for drinks and tea. I can the mandarins, salt the lemons for baking chicken, dry the orange peels for tea, and the zest for baked goods. Pomegranates for eating fresh, and for juicing. The juice can also be canned, or frozen. Persimmons for fresh eating, baking sweet bread, and for drying for snacking. Raspberries for fresh eating and preserves.
Spring/Summer grow berries for preserves, pie fillings, and for canning whole, and then come my peaches, plums, pluots, figs, apricots, almonds that fruit at different months throughout these seasons. My almonds make me flour, and almond milk which is just the nuts soaked in water, blitzed in the blender, and then sieved. The particles left in the sieve make the flour. Apples come in at different months, and so do my pears both European, and Asian. Make fruit butter, apple sauce etc

Reality check. I live in so cal desert. Aug is hot and July was too. Always been that way till this year. Many have electric bills like 500 to 700 folks with kids. Yeah you could say the price went up. For seniors like me on fixed income that is one third of the check from SS. We got a 3.2% cola in a 22% percent inflation world. Yes the groceries are crazy too but this electric bill is wiping lots of people out. They will have to pay 100/mnth for credit. Our gas is around 5/gal. This is unsustainable for MANY. Living in a van is no longer an impossible notion. Rents are like 22 hundred for a 2 bedroom. Don’t come to CA comrades heed my warning.
