It’s mid-August and the headlines are increasingly looming around the Ukraine v Russia conflict. You can sense it; I can sense it, and we all need to trust our instincts.
As we navigate our way through this intense foreign and domestic political gaslighting, lies being created daily by government officials and their allies in the corporate media, being able to hone your instincts becomes even more critical. Not many people can do it.
The last week or so has highlighted a marked increase in urgency and hostility amid those in the CIA/DoS who control the events in Ukraine. Everything about this insufferable World War Reddit is sketchy, including the ongoing absence of any frontline reporters anywhere in the “battlefield” giving updates on what we are told is intense fighting.
I have never seen a war that did not have a single journalist war correspondent, clad in a helmet and flak jacket, giving updates on what is happening on the ground from a location near the battle zone. Yet here we are more than two years into this “conflict” and not a single war correspondent is reporting. It’s just completely weird.
Adding to my own view on the sketchy reporting from Intelligence Community operatives, is my personal drive in a car from Russia (Kazan) to Montenegro (Kotor) through the entire cross section of Ukraine, without any difficulty. I did see some large fishing nets being deployed in what I was told was a makeshift counter drone effort, and I did witness some 6′ wide trenches being built, but no actual ‘conflict.’
To be fair, I wasn’t exactly trying to put myself into a combat zone, I was just going from East to West and was quite happy not to encounter any hostilities. But it’s all just weird.
If you read the western headlines and traditional legacy news reports, you get the sense that NATO is trying desperately to increase the intensity of the hostilities. At the very least, they are trying to increase the perception of an uptick in hostilities and conflict.
We see reports of Ukraine military entering Russian territory to fight, which I highly doubt – and reports of Russia attacking a nuclear power station in retaliation for the invisible Ukraine military entering Russian territory…. again, seriously doubtful. From my perspective, these are Western IC “reports” of activity that is carried out by Western IC operators.
POLITICO – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Sunday that Russia has started a fire on the grounds of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest such facility in Europe.
It comes as the war between the two countries enters a new phase, with Ukraine occupying Russian territory for the first time last week as part of its retaliation against Russia’s full-scale invasion, which is now in its third year.
Russia captured the plant, which is in Ukrainian territory, shortly after invading Ukraine in 2022. Its six nuclear reactors are in cold shutdown and no nuclear activity was recorded on Sunday, but the overall risk of nuclear meltdown remains elevated.
“Currently, radiation levels are within norm,” Zelenskyy said in a post on X which included a video. “As long as the Russian terrorists maintain control over the nuclear plant, the situation is not and cannot be normal.”
“Since the first day of its seizure, Russia has been using the Zaporizhzhia NPP only to blackmail Ukraine, all of Europe, and the world,” he added.
There is widespread concern about the safety of the plant, which is located on the southern bank of the Dnipro River around 50 kilometres southwest of Zaporizhzhia. (read more)
From where I sit, the nuclear angle is created to try and scare people into a justification to push the west further into the regional conflict. After all, a nuclear cloud would travel far beyond Ukraine’s borders – at least that appears to be the purpose of the messaging.
The Dept of State and CIA operators of this Ukraine construct are so deeply enmeshed into this storyline it is really weird. The only Western narrative that came close to this level of media propaganda was the COVID-19 vaccination demand.
Yes, what I am saying is the stories around Ukraine are as detached from the reality of the visible threat, as the vaccine narrative was from the reality of the COVID-19 threat.
Something else entirely is at play that has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with regional military conflict.

To make matters worse, that coward then lies about his military experience, pretending to carry weapons in a combat zone when in reality he ran from it–the hutzpah is mind blowing. Veterans and civilians alike understand this intuitively. Once Walz has been exposed as a “bad person,” then all the other accusations will become more credible, the dam will break and the pile on from media will begin to drown his reputation and his political career.

Simyon Pegov (War Gonzo). Patrick Lawrence. V. Rogov. Sladkov. I don’t know the names of most. The Chechen fighting units’ leadership is reporting directly from the ground in the Kursk region. Many fighting units have Telegram channels that report daily what is going on in their areas. For example the 79th air mobile brigade.

Zelensky is lying about Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. Zelensky said that the Russians are burning tires to cause smoke. The Russia are furious and have called on the IAEA to investigate after the ZNPP cooling tower and building were hit by a kamikazi drone flown from Nikopol which started a fire. The IAEA observers reported smoke after several explosions were heard. So, it is not just burning tires.
Ukrainian POW’s in Kursk report in videos that the goal of the Ukrainian armed forces is the Kursk nuclear power plant. IMO, this is all a last ditch effort to scare the Russians into negotiations using nuclear terrorism – because on the ground, the Ukrainians are losing badly.

This was not a nuclear silo. This was a cooling tower and its infrastructure. Many cooling towers are made of engineered plastics which burn; metal cooling towers must be protected from rust and corrosion with epoxy paints which burn. If you really want to know you can research what was in these cooling towers. I imagine there are wiring, pumps, insulation from heat and vibration, areas for personnel, computer gadgets, levers, gauges, thermostats, flooring, pipes that can be broken.
The smoke is coming from a cooling tower (the purpose is to cool the super heated water from the steam generation of power, before releasing it back into whatever water source it was drawn from, in order to prevent “thermal pollution”).
Most likely what is burning is the pumps used to pump the water to the top of the cooling tower, and/or the fuel that powers them.
The pumps will be on the outside of the tower and they will not produce that kind of smoke…they are iron and copper with a small amount of plastic. I work in heavy industry. I have seen most of the powe plants between Houston and NOLA. Including Waterford 3, upriver from New Orleans.
There really is not much to burn IN a cooling tower. They have a honeycomb media that water passes through and the condensate is pulled through the fan at the top. You see this in cooler/cold weather as steam being released into the air.
If the plant has been cold for the past two years. There is a possibility that the media has caught fire, but most nuke plants still need to move water around around the core. It is not like fision/fusion stops when you flip the light switch to turn the juice off.

The Ukrainian troops have been told by their commanders that if any civilians give them problems, shoot them and throw them in the basement. There are multiple videos now appearing of Ukrainians looting stores and homes.

YouTube is full of pro-Ukraine / anti-Putin content. This latest incursion into Russia in the Kursk region seems pretty incredible, though plausible enough the way they explain it. Short version: Russia didn’t consider Ukraine a threat and the Kursk defenses were lightly manned with little in the way of equipment which has been diverted to the other combat zones. Furthermore, this isn’t the first cross-border raid into Russia conducted by Ukrainian forces.
Then they follow up with stories about Russian people outraged and demanding Putin step down, mass protests etc.
I haven’t heard much about this anywhere else, and all the videos use stock footage with an AI voiceover. So I have my doubts about these developments.

I don’t think it’s unusual that during your drive across Ukraine you found a ghost town, when the country is at war and the military equipment is likely concentrated at the fronts.
Please let’s set some parameters on what we think is happening, or we will lose all sense of reality, which is clearly one of the goals of the global oligopoly.

I was a senior in college during the Tet Offensive. Remember seeing a picture of an Army deuce-and-a-half with a pile of dead American soldiers just thrown in the back. Was either Newsweek or Time. That tends to turn off the people against the war. News doesn’t show stuff like that here anymore. It is hard to remembers so long ago, but I seem to remember it was about 600 soldiers dying that week.
