I’m only posting this because there are so many voices that keep talking about Donald Trump needing some version of Steve Bannon to assist him in the election or White House.

These two represent the opinions, sentiments, thoughts, perspectives and insights of all the people with alligator emojis in their bios. These are the Cruz Crew members in 2016, who turned into the knuckleheads for Ron DeSantis in 2024.
Maybe, just maybe, Steve Bannon doesn’t have any idea what the alligator emojis are doing to his brand 😂. Or, maybe he does, and this is just another blazing alert flare warning that people will reconcile away – because retention of a false belief is easier than acceptance of a reality that makes us uncomfortable.
Everyone has some kind of flaw. There shouldn’t be a purity test for MAGA. And I’m not a fan of Chip Roy, either.

MAGA, and its community, has gotten much wiser and more focused in the last 8 years. And incredibly so since the Tea Party era. Welcoming, but smart.
If someone gets out of line, we now let them know. Quickly. Witness just recently Kyle Rittenhouse, and Joe Rogan today. They’re not getting cabinet positions, but the tolerance for disloyalty and cowardice has gotten small. We’ve all been burned too many times by the RINOs and grifters. It’s a huge tent, but just there’s no room for saboteurs anymore.
It’s not a purity test. But we don’t suffer hucksters and frauds anymore. For the less engaged, we have people like Sundance to point them out.
I’m not a long term fan of Vance. But right now he is doing all that can be expected in a positive way.
If Mr. Bannon gets out of alignment with the Movement, the Movement will let him know. If he gets back with us and pulls hard, we need all the help we can get, right now.
But if he stays out of alignment, the Movement will simply part ways with him. Bannon is a smart guy, I’ll give him that. So I am sure he knows this. I doubt PDJT will let him back into the inner sanctum again (I could be wrong on this). But he remains a valuable ally. Don’t alienate allies at this point.
Even Ron De Sanctimonious is saying the right things right now. Of course he is a Sea Island turncoat, but he’s welcome to fight alongside us down the final stretch. We’ll still keep our distance from him later.

Same here. I saw him hosting today and I shut it off. I can’t say for sure that SB has ok’d these 2. I will say this SB did have Roy on his show a few times before. I also remember SB telling everyone how he warned Roy about DeSantis and that he should stay away from him but Roy wouldn’t listen then. Now Roy realizes that SB was correct. Let me refresh your memory about the manner in which SD “called out” Johnson. He did it by sympathizing with Johnson for being misled, because he’s an honest man who truly believes the scary stories of the IC. I would never consider Dr. Peter Navarro, who was recently released from prison after four months incarceration (for similar “crime” as Steve Bannon), Dr. Dave Brat, presently of Liberty University Admin, an Economics expert, & former Congressman (c. Teaparty, I believe), and Ben Harnwell, “@harnwell”, warroom Bureau Chief in Europe “sucking the bottom of the barrel for hosting duties.
The guy is sitting in jail right now to protect the office of the Presidency. I think the idea has to be to get the best out of individuals while it matters, a transactional rather than a permanent alignment and broaden the tent. Why antagonize the opponents of the communists? Seems to make sense to fight on a common front. Doesn’t mean you stop recognizing the temporary loyalty these people may have toward the cause but for fighting the biggest war if you can have their support, then why not? So on occasion I will switch on Warroom…I do like the way he brings historical concepts into where we are today…I also so like a lot of his guests and I do learn alot…OTOH, a lot of what happens is very sketchy for me (to quote SD above)…did I or did I not see SB pushing Project 2025 like it was his literal job in the weeks prior to him going to jail? I remember thinking it didn’t make any sense to me but that was before the entire Project 2025 blow up in the media and DJT disavowed it…Did that happen or did I misunderstand that?

Did President Trump disavow all of it or just the far right stuff? He said a couple of times some of it went to far and in mho some of it did. He had to distance himself from it because he finally got the abortion message right. We gave it back to the states and did not want it wrapped around his neck again because it was finally put to rest.
Project 2025 is the plan that must be implemented as far as cleaning up the deep state goes. I haven’t read the 900+ pages but from what SB talked about it was the blueprint. The Democrats successfully poisoned the well on it and it had no defenders so it died. That was deep state fighting back and winning. Obama has done worse and never published any of it in a manual.
I really enjoyed Deace’s take on the binary choice in 2024 and the passion around 1996 NYC vs. 2024’s San Francisco, Chicago and London. Deace and Roy were way off in their vision for our primaries but we need to come together and vote Trump in 2024.
Bannon also ran Andrew Breitbart’s namesake news site at one time. I don’t think he did anywhere near as good a job. But then again, he had to do it under the thumb of the Mercers.
I take a similar view of Bannon as I do Musk. If he’s pulling in the same direction at the moment, don’t take the rope from him. Everyone’s own personal journey is different; PDJT was once a Democrat on many issues. Age, and resulting wisdom, are the polish of life.
Right now, he is silenced in jail. Unlike Jenna Ellis and many other weaklings, he chose jail. Don’t discount jail, it’s no vacation. He could have Quislinged to save his skin. And that counts for something, too.

I won’t claim to have all the details but as DJT was learning the political side of governing he was surrounded by swamp-pushed never Trumpers there simply to thwart his agenda.
John Kelly was Chief of Staff and an absolute snake that sought to purge those loyal to DJT and the America First agenda. It made President Trump easier to set up during Russiagate and beyond.
Bannon has often said he’s a populist and Donald Trump is far more moderate than he is. Perhaps that strained the relationship.

IMO, Trump should never have injected Jared Kushner into his WH. He could and should have kept him as an “aside” to help with some diplomatic decisions, but to give him “authority” was a step too far. Hopefully, PDJT is aware of that mistake.
Steve is also incarcerated because he supported PDJT’s executive privileges. He refused to go before the J6 committee. Something to consider.
There are many times I have not understood some things he has said or done, in this instance, due to his situation, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Although there are other times when I just shake my head.

I have been impressed by the carefulness and consistency of Peter Navarro.
Having contributed an article to Project 2025 policy book on fair trade he appears to have formed a very critical opinion of them since stating that they are a “Trojan Horse funded by Globalists.”
Self interest is not only pervasive among the Democrat politicians but also Republican politicians and that I why I fear they will do as much as they can to set their agenda and undermine that of President Trump in the event of him winning.

You might want to question Sundance on why he called Dr. Peter Navarro “not very smart”.
I don’t have the receipts, but I do recall Sundance laying out clearly that Navarro chose to go to jail when he didn’t need to do so; an unforced error.
Navarro invoked executive privilege without consulting the Executive regarding that privilege.
I dont think Trump needs the Ron Popeil of the MAGA movement in anyway. Although I dont think Bannon needs to be in jail so I have sympathy for him in that respect but any two hour show of the Warroom is about being a huckster for you name it. And every chance they get they say head over to birch gold and get a copy of the end of the dollar empire? As the Bric. nations try to go away from the US Dollar they realize they cant, so despite OBidens plan to destroy this country the dollar is the most sought after in the world. So unless Trump is starting a 24 hour shopping channel I dont see where Steve is a fit given Trumps previous comments about Bannon. It all reminds me of AJ and rile up people but never offering any real solutions to stop the madness.
I don’t know all the $ number$, but I think when Steve or anyone tries to “make a living” from their daily livestream shows, they have to include revenue from advertisers unless they close membership and charge a subscription fee.
Those livestream shows generally require a staff, quality technical equipment with high bandwidth internet connectivity, and facilities to house the “studio’ with all the personnel & equipment.
The old cable pay-TV business model required subscription fees as well as advertising, but has proven to be unpopular. So, in lieu of requiring viewers to pay subscription fees, Steve and every other host of a free-access, live-streaming conservative channel on YouTube and Rumble has advertisements during their shows.
Precisely and having advertisers like Mike Lindell, Slnt and Patriot Mobile does not bother me.
Regarding Birch Gold, Bannon has a finance background and BRICS is a big deal.
I don’t mind hearing how the current regime is putting the primacy of the petrodollar at risk, to the point that even long time allies are hedging their bets. It doesn’t mean I act on every piece of information I hear.

Funny people watch television and have no problem with advertisers. When they see advertisements on conservative channels they have a problem. Do people understand that even though these creators love what they do, they still have expenses? Many here give to the CTH. Same principle. We can’t take and take and give nothing.
I always hate it when conservatives start talking about how much anyone is making. Unless they are clear out committing fraud, or doing something illegal. I am not concerned. Their income is not my business. Just as my income is not their business.

Oh man this is a tough one. I am willing to accept that everyone has faults, but people can change. I’m not sure there’s anyone who I can agree with everything on. Steve’s actions since doing warroom have seemed above board and truly MAGA. He’s been burned by some guests, like Steve Cortes. I mean he even had Nancy Mace on his show several times praising her (when she deserved it) even though she’s one of the republicrats that found him in contempt. He put his grievances and any grudge towards her aside to have her on the show. I don’t know his heart, I just know he hasn’t done or said anything that I’ve seen that leads me to believe he’s not 100% behind DJT. He wants America to survive. He wants to make America great again and give us a seat at the table. I’m willing to accept he isn’t perfect and makes poor judgement decisions, but then again who hasn’t?
I believe he doesn’t fully understand the silos of the IC, and the depth of the deep state, but I think he’s trying. He still pretends sometimes, but maybe he’ll come out of jail with fresh eyes and be able to see the strings more clearly.

Carlson and Bannon are different. I trust Carlson more. His judgment seems better to me. He holds back and doesn’t say all he knows but he doesn’t make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I understand where he’s coming from. I’ve heard it suggested that he was C$A. Maybe so.
Bannon seems like a heavy drinking Irishman fighter type. Very alpha male. Very opinionated. Very interested in all things military. Very patriotic . But a bit of a loose cannon.
He is entertaining to listen to but I don’t trust him or his judgment. His best skill is waking people up. He’s very effective on the radio about bringing people into MAGA and waking them up.
I’ve noticed that he appeals very much to a lot of men here, probably because he is manly.
I think he is too war-like and too blind to Israel’s crimes.
I would not think he would be good in any of the more serious positions in the administration Sundance has described thus far.

Steve Bannon is in jail because the appellate courts thought he should have gone to the hearing and refused to answer. I know that is too course a summary, and there were pitfalls the courts didn’t address had he gone.
I respect Bannon for having the fortitude to serve time rather than serve the will of the Uniparty, but he always seems to have a hidden motive. I have spoken poorly of Bannon here in the past. I find his show detrimental to my frame of mind. This is clearly a poorly done comment on my part, but I don’t have good feelings about Steve Bannon. He’s a prince on his own behalf.
Every time I will trust the quiet, anonymous worker toiling in relative anonymity asking nothing for himself over one trying to stress everyone up.
I am glad you posted this, Sundance. I am have been very skeptical of Bannon for a long time. The last straw for me was when he kept pushing Bob Good even after Trump endorsed his opponent, McGuire. I did some research into Good, whom I used to like, and found out he was not a nice person for several reasons. Bannon allowed his sidekick, Grace, to trash McGuire and his followers every day on Truth Social with untruths. Then, her posts were posted on his Telegram page. I unfollowed him on Telegram and her on TS. BTW, Good insinuated that McGuire cheated in the Primary. Good had a re-count done in the District. Good picked up a total of four votes – it’s official, he lost. The very next day, Good filed paperwork to run again for the House seat for 2026.
He did the same thing with Roy Moore.
Bannon is full of himself and only himself.
Chip Roy is my rep in Congress. He is in the top 5 most conservative members of Congress and a leader of the Freedom Caucus. He’s not perfect, but the world would be much better off, if there were more guys like Chip in Congress. Steve Bannon is lucky to have guys like Chip to boost his standing.

Listen, I don’t like most of the sponsors on his podcast, but the podcast is very educational in many areas, and the guy has to make a living.
I’ve never trusted Bannon. I really don’t trust anyone until proven for a loooong time. I have always wondered if DJT is naive, flattered, desperate? I’ve screamed at the TV “fire him” I’m sure he has his motives and maybe he knows but plays the game to get what he needs…..so frustrating some times.
Bannon is “sketchy” only because he’s a political lightweight who was/is completely out of his league. Not that his ideas are bad or that his political philosophy is wrong, they aren’t.

I have never understood how people could just forget what Steve Bannon did while he worked for President Trump. He constantly used Breitbart to attack Trump’s family and then he gave that Wolf guy ammo for his hit piece of a book against Trump. He absolutely stabbed Trump in the back and people act like it never happened. I have never completely trusted him since then and I have posted about it on this site before. Of course, it’s still disgusting that they sent him to prison but I will never fully trust that guy and I don’t believe Trump has any obligation to ever hire him again. FTR, I feel the same way about Ted Cruz. I don’t trust him either.

I like Steve’s show and I watch a bit of the Warroom every morning; a bit because I don’t have the time for more. I watch a day late so I don’t have to watch the ads and I can select what I want to watch. He has good and interesting guests. If I don’t like the guest I fast forward past it.
I guess Steve was some kind of strategist in the WH and I do not see him as a strategist. He is kind of like the military leader giving support and energy to the troops…gets people to do stuff not just sit and listen to him. Gung ho type of guy.
He did not like Jared and others in the WH so I can see why he might be let go…he did not get along. But, he has been faithful to Trump, MAGA, and he sits in jail for PTrump. I have never heard him say a single negative thing about PTrump.
Bannon was first rate about the dangers of the vaccine. He had Robert Malone on when the mRNA was being rolled out and I didn’t take that vaccine because of that information, which was not widely available in the mainstream.

As a Texan, many outsiders don’t understand that Chip Roy is a fraud who cheered on the impeachment of the greatest AG in the country, Ken Paxton. He sided with the Bushes, corporate PAC whores, John Corndog, Karl Rove, the Marxist Dems, Biden’s DOJ, the FBI Gestapo and the RINOs in the Texas House. Chip Roy and his ilk almost destroyed the Texas GOP. If Ken Paxton would have been removed, I believe Texas would have become a blue state. Many conservative Texans will never forgive these traitors. In the end, their escapade backfired on them. Fourteen impeachment RINOs either didn’t run for re-election or got their ass handed to them in the primary by a true conservative. The last House Speaker barely won his race and will hopefully not be Speaker next term. I live in a district with one of those House impeachers. A few days ago, a volunteer came to my house, asking if I would vote for Angie Chen Button. I told her no. If a godless leftist, who happens to be former Miss Texas, wins the race so be it. We will still have the majority without Angie Chen Button. I will vote for Republicans and even RINOs because I know the Democrats’ policies will destroy a state and country. However, I will never vote for a traitor even with a “R”.

Steve Bannon has collected enough chits to earn MAGA credibility in my mind. Perhaps Billy Bush weekend could have turned out much different w/o him on the scene. Maybe not but he was there and the Bill Clinton victims appearance was classic. He has also consistently raised the alarm about communist China. Warroom Pandemic was key to sunlight on COVID malfeasance.
My point is that Steve Bannon is a patriot and is in the fight doing the best he can, I am confident. Dan Bongino is in the fight. Gen. Mike Flynn is in the fight. Sundance is fighting every day. Although each of these may at times make me cringe, I thank the Lord for fighters.
It takes all kind to get us where we need to be and we will be blessed if our differences become the most important thing to worry about. Remember Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams and others were able to eventually get to that point where those kind differences were of primary importance. Not at the beginning though.
