I sense the Democratic party is going into a defensive position of becoming more “moderate.” While the media held them up as popular, the Democratic party’s portrayal of “The Joker” has actually caused a LOT of loss in support and it’s only getting worse.
The Democratic party has NEVER changed. They still hate black people — even the black leadership hates black people. The Democratic party has the highest concentration of psychologists and sociologists of any political party. So they, above all others, would know the expected outcome of their policies on black people. And seriously, when they “defund police” and offer bail for criminal behavior? How come the environmentalists never discuss the massive amount of plastic waste that is disposed of by our hospitals, on a daily basis?
Bath basins, emesis basins, plastic straws, styrofoam cups, plastic cups, soda cans, plastic cups that juices come in, plastic medicine cups, paper linen saver pads, not to mention the overpriced chemical ‘bath wipies’….that were supposed to reduce the use of basins and reduce the spread of germs?

Isolation meal trays…excess styrofoam…and plastic utensils…patient water pitchers with liners that are changed each shift?

Up until 10-8-2008 I had a custom door and sash business in SoCal. We used Teak and Honduran Mahogany 80 percent of the time. These woods grow in swamps, are among the strongest, most reliable (straight grain, wont bend, warp or twist,) insect and rot resistant and among the fastest growing trees on Earth. For goodness sake what are boat decks and cabinets made out of!
When Barry Sotero came into office in 2009 all that changed. I was demonized for using these woods, mind you it didn’t matter that they were harvested and replanted for sustainability. It didn’t matter that they converted C02 into oxygen and the end product would last several lifetimes…No The new Green Deal was all about synthetics. Example…Trex decking…a mixture of toxic industrial waste and petroleum products that deteriorated in ten years and is poisonous when inhaled (sawdust). No… What was important was saving the rain forests.
FYI…all trees grow in forests, and within 60 years (after harvesting) they will be right back where they were, leaving an incredible material that will last for twice that time. Like a large-scale garden.
Petroleum will always be used, who gets to use it and for what is the question? Cars are petro products, tires, roadways…almost everything. It is refined and processed into thousands of products. If Gavin Newscum wants to improve the quality of life by eliminating fossil fuel (EV mandates) he should start with electric jet so he can go to DC knowing that he is leading the way

We are presently at our cottage on the Vancouver Island B.C.
The cottage is located on the pacific ocean and is true beachfront.
High tides, and salt air are ever present.
I mention this because the cottage is approximately 110 ten years old, and is made of “ old growth” fir.
The floors don’t squeak, the the exterior has some rot, but not much.
Old woods are truly the best, a few cottages up from us a “ new build” plastic and acrylics..15 years on it looks awful.

1.) 10 years ago I lost a golden retriever to a cancer that is implicated to be caused by the main chemical in ALL weed and feed and plain feed lawn fertilizers….”2, 4 D”…..which alleges to be ‘safe around children and pets’.
2.) The way I found out what caused it was “googling”… articles from researchers…the one in question that identified the culprit…I spoke to it yesterday on the Google thread…..it was an article documenting research…of bladder cancers and, an un-treatable connective tissue cancer called “Myxo-sarcoma” which is what my dog had….the research was done at Purdue. They identified golden retrievers as being susceptible as well as scotties, border collies and shelties all having DNA from Scotland..
That article is no longer available on a google search.
Back then, I went to Home Depot, Wally World and Ace, with my magnifying glass and checked all the brands….all the fertilizer had that chemical in it.

I don’t mind the use of plastics in a setting where the previous resident in your room may have had a horrible communicable disease, the nurses and other medical people that traipse through your room and take care of you may be transferring who knows what germs into your room. Seems like a good use of one-time-use articles to reduce hospital contracted illness which is still far to high.
That is why we use the disposables…also, it is cheaper to not have to do the sterilizing. The problem is that it is a massive amount and no one speaks to it. Also, it helps a lot if housekeeping does their job…and uses products necessary to kill germs…ho, husekeeping staff are stretched very thin.

Consumers pay more. Nothing changed at the landfill. The impact fees collected are put into a gigantic slush fund for the enjoyment of the Politburo.

Most stores here don’t even put the plastic bags out any more. Everyone just stole them because you could click “0 bags used” at checkout and nobody ever checked. Paper bags have returned – apparently these anger Gaia less – for 10 cents.
Another unintended consequence? MASSIVE THEFT. Once the bags went away people started using the hand baskets to carry groceries to their cars rather than buy the bags. Many stores no longer have the hand held baskets.
I don’t know if it reopened yet, but the local WalMarts closed the self checkout lanes because the stealing got so bad.
We bought a YUGE box of the plastic bags online for about a penny apiece. I thoroughly enjoy taking out my plastic bags at the grocery store and just using them anyway.
Up in Breckenridge they now have a 100% ban on drinking straws. Even those crappy paper ones. The business owners are pissed, but they’re spineless and nothing will be done. So, just like my personal plastic bags, I tossed a box of el cheapo straws in my glove box, just so I can walk down Main Street drinking from a straw.

I notice self checkouts have started installing cameras at each checkout where I live.
The dinky little paper bags they charge money for are nothing like the old paper grocery bags. They are truly ‘single use’ because they rip before you get them home.
Some low-income people are ashamed to be seen as too cheap to spend money on a bag, it embarrasses them.
Walmart has become grim and Soviet-like.
By me some places charge for those plastic bags, I save them, double them and use them for kitchen garbage…I haven’t bought garbage bags in years.
I pay a recycling fee….with my garbage bill…to reduce waste, for example, then I have to buy recycled paper lawn bags paid for by my recycling fee per village regulations (or get a waste management bin to store in my garage)…to dispose of yard waste.
Aggiegirl, there is a giant hospital dumpster within a block of my house. It is filled to the brim every week. They keep adding to it until a truck finally comes to pick it up and take it somewhere to be emptied. It gives me the heebeegeebees to think what all might be in that thing.

I have been a critical care nurse for 45 years with a smattering of correctional care…you are correct… but it is also to cut costs. It is mostly about profit, first and foremost, today.
They used to supply our scrubs for work, we would change into their hospital scrubs when we got to work and changed back into our street clothes…not any more. Cuts down on laundry bill.
They used to mop every occupied patient room every day…too…depending where you are, not anymore….

People come to work on public transportation wearing scrubs.
The more they cut corners, the more they charge the patient.

Most of the posters here come and go. A few are old timers. I guess I’m an old timer at this point. And a couple here are regular fixtures, posting 15-20x a day, every day. God bless ’em.
And then we have the ones who show up around election time. Most are sincere, looking for all the good stuff here to nourish their mind. And our host here gives them a lot of great insight (particularly on explaining the systemic institutional dysfunctions and motives at the federal level). But not all of them come here for that.
Sometimes, like every website allowing comments around election time, we get something else. I’m not saying that’s the case here, but we’ve all seen it before. I try to impute good intentions to everyone.
We have wonderful site admins here. They give a long leash and allow spirited discourse, are sweet people and as helpful as the day is long, as long as we don’t get truly nasty and violate the published rules. Several even jump in and comment sometimes. Good people. It’s not an echo chamber by any means.
I come here most days just to read the posts. I don’t follow your posts. But I occasionally see others who post, and will occasionally pay attention to what they say over time if it’s something unusual or noteworthy.

For anyone who viewed John Cullen/Clay Martin ballistic analysis – has theory been validated by others? Maybe I’ve missed it but have not seen comments from anyone proving or disproving his theory. Not much discussion at all and this gives me pause.
The analysis makes sense to me…but as a civilian, with no experience in this field, I’m curious about its validation because I was not aware of Cullen or (his)Las Vegas shooter theory prior to this video? But I also have never had interest in ballistic theory discussions before now either.

There is merit to his claims but I don’t know that anyone else has done independent review of it. But the “easy” way to look into it is to acquire the original source material they used and play it all back for yourself. If their audio sounds like your audio, then it is only a matter of deciding whether or not you think they made sense.
As professional assassins go, subsonic rounds are often preferred for many reasons and most specifically because suppressors work a LOT better and it would confuse any such common forensic review.
That said, assuming all of the rounds fired were supersonic as one would expect (because better range and destructive capacity) then the “at least two shooters” makes sense if only because without large objects in the area being moved, the audio dynamics are pretty stable. If there was one shooter, the audio dynamics would have remained consistent throughout. They weren’t. As for there being a third? It’s hard to tell.
I think the best chances of resolving this situation exists within the Secret Service itself. While the administration is corrupt, many in the Secret Service are not and are raising hell about it. At some point there will be a complete rebellion as the ONLY mission of the Secret Service is protection of presidents. I don’t think they do counterfeiting investigations any longer. (Could be wrong) And to have their ONLY purpose and their almost mythical reputation destroyed like this is more than many can stand.
In the aftermath of any Secret Service rebellion, we’ll have all of the other answers or as close to them as we can get. I expect we’ll have the figurative heads of those responsible before the election.

He suggests that those who affirm the American nation be called Americanist. Those who seek revolutionary transformation of America should be called Transformationist.
Personally, I think it’s more descriptive and accurate to call them Patriots and Insurgents respectively. Clearly, Harris participated in the insurgency of 2020, and now the Harris – Walz ticket will attempt to solidify the Insurgent’s gains and extend them. God help us if they’re successful.

Could undeliverable blank ballots be gathered up and delivered to undisclosed locations where they could be filled out in the quantities necessary to tip an election in a crucial swing state?

translation: after the all clear more ballots appeared, and we pretend the new ballots would miss the deadline possibly because we are deceptive pricks.
All the more reason to strictly limit the mail-ins, formerly known as absentee ballots, meaning the person was unavoisably away from their place of legal residence and COULD NOT vote in person on election day.
Mass mail-ins are more costly, more work, take longer to know the results, and have more chance of fraud or loss.
You don’t adopt a change that does all these things.
Things that are illegal (and enforced) on Election Day at every voting location in America that are 100% legal (because they cannot be enforced) with “mail in” voting.
– it is illegal to follow somebody into the voting booth to observe them vote or to “help” (exceptions for handicapped)
– it is illegal to electioneer within a set distance from the voting center
– it is illegal to fill out another person’s ballot
– it is illegal to break the chain of custody of ballots
And so on.
How do I know mail in voting is fraudulent? Because every single solitary voter protection is thrown in the garbage with mail in voting.
Trump should propose a National Election Day federal holiday. In exchange for a mandatory closure of all businesses, with pay for qualified workers, mail in voting is banned. No absentee except under strict rules (PA’s old rules would work). NO “provisional” ballots. If you’re not a registered voter in the precinct WITH ID, you don’t vote.
It’ll never happen, but it would be a great way for Trump to focus on election fraud by offering people a highly attractive alternative: paid time off / Federal holiday.

Ukraine SitRep: Incursion Towards Kursk-
Yesterday the Ukrainian army started an attack on Russia from the northern Sumy region into the Russian Kursk oblast. Two to three Ukrainian brigades are involved. They progressed some 5 kilometer but immediately took severe casualties and losses of equipment due to Russian air force action. But over night the Ukrainian troops dug in and this morning tried to expand their holdings by attacking the city of Sudzha.
The Russian military says that the Ukrainian attack has been stopped. Reserves in the region have been activated and will remove the Ukrainians from Russian terrain. There is no doubt that this will, within a day or two, be achieved.
The Ukrainian operation makes little sense. It is well known that Russia has plenty of forces in the area. It will not need to stop its attacks in the Donetsk region to counter the Ukrainian forces near Sumy.
In 1943 the German attack on Kursk was launched for a similar reason – to divert Russian forces from attacking in the Donetsk region. It ended in utter defeat.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are already at odds over their campaign platform. Walz is pushing for a extreme far left platform while Kamala wants to remake herself as a moderate aka Obama-style. Internally the fuse has been ignited, with the fireworks at the convention. Walz is more intelligent and articulate than Kamala, and he knows it. I think Musk and other high-profile people outing Google caused them to adjust their search results. Now when I use “Trump” as a search term I no longer see Harris results. Same with “Trump rally”. I’m not saying I think the results aren’t still being manipulated, it’s just not as egregious right now.

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers has introduced a new bill that aims to counter communist China’s malign activities in Africa.
Reps. Young Kim (R-Calif.) and Colin Allred (D-Texas), both sitting on the House Foreign Affairs
Additionally, the legislation would authorize the president to impose sanctions on China-linked entities responsible for adverse environmental, ecological, or public health incidents in Africa.
“We cannot allow the People’s Republic of China and Chinese-linked companies to continue their exploitation of African nations as they subject their people to harmful ecological and public health risks,” Allred said in a statement.
“…bill that aims to counter communist China’s malign activities in Africa.”
Because China might get in the way of our own planned “activities?” You just can’t have two superpowers competing for the same precious resources.
