I’m a little surprised by this, as I expected Shapiro wanted no part of the Jew-Palestinian dynamic right now. I thought he’d hide in the background, finish his term as governor, & go for it in 2028. This development has me wondering if he’s been “encouraged” to do this by the DNC cabal through an arrangement such as, “you’ll be next up as soon as we steal this election too & kick Harris to the side of the road”. 🤔
He won’t be the VP. That was a trial balloon to gauge the Democrat voters and activists. There were a number of negative reactions to the leaked announcement.
Look, we already know she isn’t the one choosing her VP. She was selected herself to be the presidential candidate. Shapiro won’t be her running mate. I think it will be one of two people from battleground states: US Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona or Governor Roy Cooper from North Carolina.
The wildcard to me might be Governor J.B. Pritzker from Illinois. That Hilton Hotel money that made his family wealthy could come in handy for some extra campaign funds.

One thing about Shapiro few people know. The Elector Nominees (12) of Trump and the Replacements (8) for those who refused to cast their Electoral Votes for Trump met with Shapiro who was then Attorney General. Shapiro advised them that, because they conditioned counting their votes upon whether Trump won a court decision that could award him Pennsylvania’s Electoral Votes, the votes should not be counted. Shapiro told them he, personally, would not cast a vote in that situation, but the conditional statement about the court case would likely keep them from prosecution.
What’s kept them from prosecution is Shapiro green-lighted the casting of that “placeholder” Certificate of Electoral Votes. If a Republican had okayed it, or a Democrat AG who wasn’t particularly useful to the DNC, they could have been prosecuted like the other three states’ Trump Elector Nominees.
I’m curious if this was brought up in the defense arguments for the other 3 states’ elector nominees. Do you know?
I haven’t done that research yet, but intend to do so ASAP. What I do know is:
Smith thinks all of the Trump Elector Nominees and Replacements for those 7 states were tricked into filing their votes.
No one who ever filed such papers in the past have ever been prosecuted.
Two states included the purpose for filing their votes. Pennsylvania was one of them. They were ‘placeholder” votes that could be counted only if Trump won a pending court challenge in any of the states. If Trump did not win such a court case, the votes should not be counted.
The J6 Committee knows that ALL seven groups of Electors were told the same thing as the reason for filing their votes. Several were interviewed by the J6 Committee, so they know, and they have the documentation on the papers filed by two of those 7 states to verify it, plus Smith documents this in his indictment.
The Electoral Count Act covers the procedures of Congress for dealing with a State that has more than one “paper purporting to be the Electoral Votes of that State.” There are no criminal elements in the Electoral Count Act.
The reason Pennsylvania’s Trump Elector Nominees will never be touched is because Josh Shapiro is a DEFENSE WITNESS. The DNC does not want to see that happen. Shapiro is one of their best–if not THE best—retail politician that party has. I’m sure they have bigger plans for him in the future that would not look good if he had to be a defense witness for a bunch of Trump Elector Nominees and Replacement Elector Nominees.
I’m still betting on Shapiro. He’s relatively young, he’s from a swing state and has deep contacts there to assist with voting fraud if necessary, and the Lt Gov who will replace him is a black guy who will be the first black Gov ever in PA.
Beshear is young but his replacement is a white woman, so in Democrat terms that’s a minus.
Walz and Kelly are too “old” for Democrats who made such a big deal about age.
Pritzker is probably too powerful, he won’t play #2 very well, his size definitely works against him, but the one benefit he brings is the Lt Gov who will replace him is a black woman and will be the first black Gov ever in IL.

Tin was born in California. His parents were immigrants who later became citizens.
