If Harris chooses Shapiro to be her running mate, Shapiro could continue to serve as Pennsylvania’s governor. If the duo defeats Donald Trump and JD Vance in the November election, Shapiro will have to resign as governor.
If that should happen, Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis would be elevated to the position and become the state’s first Black governor.
Davis is also a Democrat. (You might think my comment is a no-brainer but I think for some states the Lt Gov isn’t always the same party as the Gov)

But we’re focused on the upcoming 2024 election. This part of the article is interesting:

When split down by party, 77% of Democrats, 42% of Republicans, and 39% of independent voters have positive opinions about the job Shapiro is doing in his first term as the battleground state’s governor.
That’s not what Jack Posobiec said at the last Pittsburgh Trump rally (in an interview with an RSBN host).
The moderate Democrat’s support among Trump and third-party voters is significant: Shapiro maintains a positive rating from 35% of Pennsylvania voters planning to vote for Trump in November and a likely majority from voters who said they’d vote for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
These voters had better not f it up for all of the rest of us. They need to vote for Trump in 2024 and vote for whoever the GOP candidate is in 2028. They need to stop voting for Democrats. Period.

Two things about picking Shapiro.
He can run the table with fraud in Pennsylvania as he is the current Governor, but in some fairness, he is well liked in Democrat circles as a “moderate.” He is not, of course, but he is very connected as an Orthodox Jew to the Philadelphia inner ring suburbs and enjoys wide support there. That is the vote rich area including Montgomery and Bucks counties.
Second, this just proves that there is enough fraud in Michigan to overcome losing the Arab vote there.
Democrats aren’t worried about being able to generate enough election ballots and have them filled out with registered voters names. The only question is, will the PA legislature do something meaningful about it? Nope, because Shapiro will veto any effort at purging the voter rolls of fake people. And the legislature has proven that they won’t convene themselves into session to overrule the so-called vote, just like the cowering they did in 2020.
PA and MI are going to be difficult to win because of it. Republicans better have a plan because the PA Guard reports to Shapiro, so they won’t be used for election security, or even as observers. I’m not sure there is much that Republicans can do about it.
