Some people struggle to understand the relationships of the IC silo operation in Washington DC. That struggle is completely understandable, because the modern functioning doesn’t come as an outcome of any constitutional or legislative framework. The modern functioning was created by the Intelligence Community (IC).
To share an example and provide an accurate elevator speech, CTH assembles non-pretending metaphors. Here’s the State Department and CIA joint silo operation. All of our foreign allies and enemies know and understand this metaphor. I have discussed it with several and many smile in affirmation:
The U.S State Dept and CIA operation is like a restaurant.
The Dept of State is the front of the restaurant, with the Secretary as the Maitre D’.
The CIA is the back of the restaurant, the kitchen. The Director is the Chef.
The menus at the front, as well as the specific seating/tables available, are dependent on the status of each guest. Each table gets a different menu.
The Chef has the opportunity to kill the diner. The diners know this and those who understand the nature of the business model consider the Chef the most powerful person in the establishment.
The consulates are the wait staff. USAID are the food runners. The Dept of Defense are the bus boys.

How can that be that the lion’s share of veterans are conservative (or used to be) and almost ALL VA workers are democrats? I never understood that.

I worked with a girl who applied for a job with the CIA. She said during the interview they handed her a piece of paper and asked her to write down ever person she had ever had a sexual encounter with. I recall reading an EXCELLENT book about the Russians and the CIA going at it, called “The Spy in Moscow Station”. Being in the military at that time in crypto-related areas, I understood the anxiety between the two sides. I marveled as I read the book about the Russian mastery of the air waves and subverting nuances that seemed to take the US years to understand.
But it was the underlying part of the book that caused the most dismay, and that was of the infighting within the US government, and the willingness to figuratively put a knife in the backs of the other US entities, all for chasing the prestige, the budget dollar and knocking down other agencies.
Having spoken with a DHS employee many years ago, I wept as they described the amount of child sex traficking and abuse within DC. They said it was rampant. I wept because I thought surely there were better people there, and then was brightened when I realized the Constitution and separation of powers kept powerhungry and abusive people from just running away with this country.
Over the years, I’ve looked on with dread as little-by-little, the Constitution was being chiseled away. I’ve heard that things will get so bad so as to have the Constitution hang by a thread (but not break), and I’ve hoped and prayed that the people would wake up and expose the corruption that was all around them. It took a Trump loss to wake people up, and a subsequent stream of abuse to wake even more people up.
It’s imperative that we get back our ability to vote and not have it be subverted electronically. Our voice MUST be heard. Or Freedom is gone.
I hope and pray that we’ll continue to wake people up, and turn to God. Become informed without relying on the MSM to twist reality.
I actually think this is happening. Everywhere, I see signs we are starting to win, and nobody is going back to sleep. Only problem is, we have a hard deadline of November for getting transparent elections or at least refusing to call what we now have “elections”. And that deadline is coming up fast.
It is all political. I saw that in the medical field with officers. That is why the say “stolen valor” is okay.
These “people” who go in the military in strictly desk jobs, that is okay to be in a support position in the military, mostly out of harms way, but then they try to use it like they are some heroic figure.
When you see the letters “CIA,” think “The US State Department. To understand the deep state and the trans-Atlantic Swamp, you need to take a hard look at NATO, and the recurved foreign aid budget, administered through the State Department. They handle WAAAAYY too much money.

Today, while NATO watches, the Russian Navy is navigating freely along the Florida coast and docking happily in Havana and Aruba. Her air force is overflying Alaskan cities; the Monroe Doctrine is murdered. Under NATO’s auspices, ‘loose cannon’ allies like Socialist France or Muslim Turkey, neither friends to American freedoms, have the whip-hand over America’s Congress, and can embroil us in capricious, foreign wars. Our Congress, which is solely charged with the responsibility of declaring American Wars, can only sit on its thumbs and watch – like a hapless conductor on a run-away train. Foreign-owned media outlets inflame Americans’ domestic sensibilities daily with hoaxed crises to pump financial flows and prestige back to Europe, and elsewhere. Unelected ‘stakeholders’ can pull from NATO’s stables of ‘experts,’ Ukrainian Admirals and deputized NGO’s to yell over American citizens’ voices in media whenever their agendas might come under public audit. American subsidies to European governments are fungible: they are ‘donated’ back to the Atlanticists’ public campaigns in North America, which include political ad campaigns. (Could the Tides Foundation, a prominent non-profit scold in American media culture, function without recycled State Department or NATO-adjacent grants?) Meanwhile America is importing Europe’s centralized social and economic policies, right down to Germany’s high taxes and regulatory burdens, with blatant efforts to impinge on Americans’ 1st and 2nd Amendments in the works, too.
So, who is containing whom? It’s 2024, and it’s high time to flip Kagan’s ultimatum on its head. “Pay up or you’ll get the Communism,” he said, to justify the explosive spending of Americans’ taxes on the Atlanticists’ expensive rackets. And so we paid up gullibly, but we got the Communism anyway. A serious audit paints a picture of a citizenry that has submitted en masse to a 70-year old terror hoax, “The Communism.” And we fell for it dumbly, and our free will is held hostage.
