Hubris scares me. The side willing to do anything to win usually does. I pray to God that he deliver this nation, but I’m not holding my breath. Right now, they still have to do the virtual roll call to get on the Ohio ballot, although there is legislation now underway there to extend the August 7th deadline. But 18 days doesn’t leave much time. The flip side being I assume it could still be litigated after the fact or they could even concede Ohio to get someone else in there. As of today, they’re still saying a virtual roll call will happen sometime between August 1 and August 7, with the actual date being set before July 26. So the next 6 days should be fun as they continue to eat their own. If they manage to maneuver around all that and do the open convention thing, pushing aside DEI selection Kamala Harris for one of the “white guys” they’ve been pushing should make for some interesting optics. They’re getting what they’re due for 2020 and 2022.
