A wave of IT outages created massive problems around the world today hitting several industries hard. Airlines seeing thousands of flight cancellations, internal and external tech systems affecting hospital banks, stock exchanges and other institutions have also been affected. Within many operational systems, Microsoft-based computers ceased to work.
The issue was traced to Crowdstrike, a familiar tech industry name for those who remember the DNC “data breech” and the subsequent Russian conspiracy theories / accusations it spawned {GO DEEP}.
ABC NEWS – […] CrowdStrike — an American cybersecurity technology firm that provides cloud workload protection, threat intelligence and cyberattack response services — said the outage is not a due to a cyber attack; it was caused by a software issue that has been identified and a fix had been deployed.
Some systems can be fixed and back up and running immediately — but for others it “could be hours, could be a bit longer” before everything is back up and running, CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz told CNBC in an on-air interview. For some customers, it will take more than rebooting systems to work through fixes.
“CrowdStrike is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted,” Kurtz said earlier Friday.
“We refer customers to the support portal for the latest updates and will continue to provide complete and continuous updates on our website. We further recommend organizations ensure they’re communicating with CrowdStrike representatives through official channels. Our team is fully mobilized to ensure the security and stability of CrowdStrike customers,” Kurtz said. (read more)
Interesting timing.

Suspicious Cat remains, increasingly suspicious.

Hmmm, can it be that there will be a similar Crowdstrike and/or others experiencing an outage on November 5th that will cause ballot machines to stop working or to begin working in a not as expected manner such as moving whole blocks of votes cast to another candidate. Hmmm, could it be that it has already happened since we all have been told that these machines are not connected to the Internet as explained by Dominion. Hmmmmm.
This came down from Schott Presler
His comment was
Are you paying attention
Maricopa County Elections put out a statement that the global tech outage is also impacting some voting locations.
What is being done to ensure this doesn’t happen on Election Day?
Tech outages could be the new steal.
How could that be if they are not connected to the internet? Only air gapped and vetted systems are used for voting, correct? Meaning, any update to the system would be proofed before deployment.
Ever see a paper ballot have a technical failure and cause widespread voting outages?
Suspicious Kitty is like “Trial run? Nah… couldn’t be…”
Dry run for November 5th.
Okay folks…. how about this idea.
If you despise conspiracy theories, scroll on by.
What IF the allegedly now deceased gunman had foreign connections which the Intel agencies of that foreign entity knew they had to scrub clean immediately so as to esure that foreign entity not be caught for direct involvement in the failed assassination attempt?
Now don’t tell me nothing, no notta thing about old Occam’s Razor, cuz we all know by now that that phrase was used by the CIA many more times than the derogatory phrase, “conspiracy theorist.
Look what I just found from Fox News …. I posted it later in this thread, and then recalled my conspiracy theory.

Florida congressman Waltz says that Thomas Matthew Crooks had three different encrypted accounts on foreign platforms, so now the investigation is international
“Thomas Matthew Crooks had three different encrypted accounts on foreign platforms”.
That might be true. What I would like to know is:
DID HE KNOW HE HAD THEM?
Too bad we cannot ask him. Reminds me of framing someone by planting child pornography on their computer.
>>> A wave of IT outages created massive problems around the world today hitting several industries hard. Feels like a warning shot, to me.
“I see your ‘Nessun Dorma’ and raise you a global BSOD.”
War.
Southwest still uses windows 3.1 which was not sophisticated enough to be affected as the more advanced firm form of other relatively modern airlines, it seems.
Just a practice run for the Fall.
And yet, every idiot in the universe will still say our elections are perfect and cannot be hacked…
I spent 2 hours this morning having to try to delete the infected .sys file. Even had to go old school DOS prompt!
The question needs to asked. Why did you have CrowdStrike Falcon installed on your computer?
If CrowdStrike Falcon has never been installed on your computer, you won’t have the corrupted file.
While I would like to see the Uniparty prevented from the ballot operations with all their ‘newcomers added to the voting rolls, I expect the election will be ugly.
I say this even though I am by default a ridiculously optimistic sort. I have been told that someone will need to tie cinder blocks to me, so I don’t float away.
The election will be explosive. Contact of Mars and Uranus are often seen in literal explosions and in war. It is appropriate since we are in a battle against evil and darkness.
https://mundane-astrology-notes.blogspot.com/2024/07/arc-of-revolt-in-uranus-cycles.html
Uranus would eat mars.
Not buying it. This was done intentionally, and with malice.
Not to mention forethought.
So a corrupted file was inserted into the update after the update went through extensive testing. Is that it?
So crowdstrike
“them”selves
either removed the bug (trace evidence)
(or)
placed the bug
(Un or mis-detectable)
is the way i see it
Just wait until all the digital currency accounts can’t be accessed. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
Remember when the people in Colorado got a wake up call from their thermostats? 😉 🙂 😉
Florida congressman Waltz says that Thomas Matthew Crooks had three different encrypted accounts on foreign platforms, so now the investigation is international
But didn’t say which accounts, which platforms, which country or countries

BREAKING: Reports are coming from Maricopa County, Arizona that Dominion voting machines are malfunctioning county-wide as a result of the CrowdStrike outage. Officials have long claimed that the machines are NEVER connected to the internet… you can laugh at those claims now
Cont reading…
As I said in an earlier posting on this article, I went to drop off a ballot and was told the machines had been down since early morning because of the outage. I was there at 2:30 pm and was told I would have to come back on another day. This was a voting site in Maricopa County.
I was wondering why you were voting early already but I see it’s for a July 30 primary election. What primary is this? Is it for state political offices or something?
Added: I see it’s for US Senate (with Kari Lake being a candidate) and some other positions. But I thought the primary was in March? Is the presidential primary separate from the rest? I’m very confused. 🙂
What is up with Maricopa County???
From Dominion’s web site:
SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: FACTS ABOUT DOMINION
ABOUT OUR VOTING EQUIPMENT
Thousands of 2020 election audits and recounts have validated the accuracy and reliability of results and confirmed the integrity of Dominion’s technology.
As part of the federal Voting System Manufacturer Testing & Certification program, Dominion submits its voting systems for certification by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (“EAC”).
Dominion voluntarily provides access to its voting machine equipment and information using independent Voting System Test Labs accredited by the U.S. federal government, as well as to state testing and certification authorities.
U.S. voting systems are designed and certified by the federal government to be closed systems that do not rely on Internet connectivity for use. State and local requirements also serve to maintain voting machine air gaps for security.
The very first word of their statement is a lie. An out and out lie. You do not need to read any further.
Crowdstrike:
“You’re lucky we were here when this happened!”
So if your system needs tech support, your supposed to go to Crowd strike to put more CS “solutions” onto your system?
SD is there hidden meaning in your spelling of “data breech?”
Normally that would be “breach” as in to break, rupture or break-into.
But I can see there might also be a sly double meaning of using “breech”
Breech: The lower rear portion of the human trunk; the buttocks (American Heritage Dictionary) > Yes there WAS a “backdoor.” Yes the story was talking out their ass
Breech: The part of a firearm at the rear of the barrel (Merriam Webster) > Yes the whole thing was weaponized
Have any machines which will be used for elections been affected? I saw somewhere Hobbs in Az said theirs were…
My question would be WTH were they affected, since it is a CLOUD based service that is in constant communication over the internet to the mother ship and NO election machines are suppose to be connected.
“NO election machines are suppose to be connected”
Yeah, we might wanna’ ask about that, again.
Order your ballot by mail. Hand carry it with you when you vote in person early. If they say “you already voted”, show them the un-opened mail ballot.
You can then request the County Sheriff to investigate identity theft.
VOTE ELECTION DAY ONLY.
Make them cheat in plain sight.
TOO BIG TO RIG.
Arizona voting was affected, although we were ASSURED that the voting machine systems were NOT connected to any networks.
RIIIIIIIIIGHT. Hackable networks …
Linux OS is the future.
Microsoft is computer trash.
No, the problem is NOT Microsoft… give it up.
The problem is that a single company has so much reach… a company that somehow failed to test their code in a “real world” test environment.
The issue then is that this company holds a monopolistic position.
It’s time to rule that such a function on the Internet should be treated as a utility and the company broken up.
The new utility will be “Internetworking global ecommerce security validation”… just as the telcos themselves are utilities and are controlled and just as banks and brokerage houses are also controlled.
I agree with TonyE’s comment and I want to add that if we ran Linux on as many desktops, voting machines, and other business or government computers as we do Windows, performing the same functions, you would see the same or maybe even worse problems. The problem is not the OS but the bad apparently untested CrowdStrike update and what might be a forced acceptance or lights-out acceptance (i.e., nobody is watching) of the update.
Crowdstrike is a fake, Deep State funded, company. Remember, they declared the DNC servers were ‘hacked’ without actually examining the servers.
My thinking is, this outage which bricked thousands of computers is a trial run for election day.
SUNDANCE.. your headline is misleading.
It’s not a Microsoft issue, it’s entirely a Crowdstrike issue.
Just as the wheels falling of a United 737 is not Boeing’s fault…
Seriously, I know you’re a good guy, but this one…. ideally you’d edit the headline.
No it is not misleading.
Microsoft is the I/T Software backbone and source of APPs linked to Crowdstrike, contracted to the US Government, who conducted the attack.
Microsoft is a major element of the problem because they are the willing enabler.
We would have the same problem if it were any other OS.
This is a precursor to November as they condition the public for when the voting machines go down. If the payment processing and point of sale machines can crash because of a software update, why not voting machines? THIS is how they try to steal the election this year.
I don’t think people are getting what’s going on here. Crowdstrike is being destroyed as a company. Musk just announced that X has wiped their stuff clean of it. Multiple lawsuits to follow. Things are not always as they appear.
Could this have any impact on reversing votes in machines?
Voting machines connected to the internet could accept malware (even from malicious Dominion employees, theoretically) which could corrupt the voting data.
DEI hire?
Kurtz and Co were running McAfee when this happened in 2010: https://www.zdnet.com/article/defective-mcafee-update-causes-worldwide-meltdown-of-xp-pcs/
He bailed with a number of senior execs in 2011 to start Crowdstrike. I know personally that they are some of the most arrogant, divisive and impossible to work with folks in the industry. Crowdstrike itself is a meat grinder who’s marketing machine vastly outperforms it’s products.
Just curious…. does anyone know what the company name means?
