President Donald J Trump has selected Ohio Senator JD Vance to be his Vice-Presidential running mate.

Cliff Notes – On the upside JD Vance brings with him the full support of Silicon Valley and unites the various social media clans and venture capitalists (Musk, Ackerman, Thiel, etc.). This means a big boost to the financial position of the Trump campaign, support from half the banking community, and also the absence of internet protocols that would restrict or oppose his 2024 campaign platform.
Additionally, on a geopolitical level, Vance will be unlikely to interfere too much on the global peace initiative; that’s important. Also, Vance will likely not interfere too much with MAGAnomic policy other than oppose tariffs that align against the aforementioned Vance benefactors. JD Vance was heavily pushed by Donald Trump Jr.
On the downside the ‘never trust a Never-Trumper’ axiom was never more true than it is today. The IC-aligned DHS network behind JD Vance opens a Trump administration to the scorpions within the deepest part of the intelligence apparatus. We can easily predict the decade of 2030-2040 now that JD Vance has been selected. The IC silos will predictably go dormant now as things settle in with Vance, at least for a while. In my opinion, the US should put tariffs on the goods of all countries with which we have a trade deficit, and that should include India. Trump will have Peter Navarro, who understands trade, in his administration. Trump will probably negotiate an agreement with Modi in which Trump keeps tariffs low on Indian exports in return for India importing a *lot* more U.S. exports.

But hey, Vance has the endorsement of Don, Jr. (who is engaged to Gavin Newsom’s ex-wife), and savvy, experienced 21-year-old Chuck Kirk, so he must be the right choice.
Labeling people as a “concern troll” is probably a little tough… but those who are saying they now won’t vote for President Trump were likely never going to vote for him anyway.
I do have concerns about Vance. A lot of them. But President Trump is who we are electing, not his VP. Hopefully, Vance won’t stab him in the back…

I admit, the Vance announcement took a little air out of the balloon. Once you see things, you cannot un-see them. Sundance’s analysis of the Peter Thiel as FBI informant, all of a sudden becoming the cash cow for Vance, and Vance all of a sudden becoming MAGA, is difficult to forget.

Like many others, I was partial to Ben Carson BUT, I had real doubts that Dr Carson would accept the job if offered. I heard him speak last fall and while he was very complimentary and supportive of President Trump, he seemed reluctant to return to the cesspool that is Washington DC. He is such an honorable man, he would not take a job if he could not commit with his whole heart.
I preferred JD Vance to Rubio, Burgham or Scott. So I don’t mind this pick. Vance has been willing to speak out for Trump during the bad times, when others turned away.

I have reservations about Vance, but I support Trump/Vance. Totally.
The reasons I have hope for Vance are:
Vance had a Kentucky grandma who influenced his life. That Kentucky grandma grew up in the common sense section of Kentucky. She grew up in the “being suspicious is necessary” part of Kentucky. Those skills were instilled in the young man.
Vance is very intelligent, able to see inside of fools (unlike the dummy Pence).
Vance’s 2016 dislike followed by his current respect for Trump may mirror the feelings of some young or middle-aged people and give them permission to respect Trump. Hopefully.
May God watch over both of them.

Either that or the bullet yesterday sent a clear message to Trump . The Next time we won’t miss . This pick is bullet insurance so as not to puss off the deep state and he can survive 4 years to fix a few things at maybe prevent a nuclear war , but this is just to buy time for a dying nation . Cynical , but this pick doesn’t give me much hope . Trump will begin to make compromises and we will be watching in slow motion how the PTB will wear him down .
Well, that’s enough for me watching the GOP convention just long enough to see who would be VP.
The Dim convention in Chicago should be a lot more exciting even if the Pro-Hamas commies don’t show up and make that convention 1968 redux as they have promised. Of course, I’ll just watch the segments showing up on YouTube, not the live convention.
