Not only does this “witness” confront security, who do absolutely NOTHING, but he then gets on National TV during this event? How many tens of thousands are in attendance, and this witness gets right on television?
I see one of two scenarios playing out here:
1-
If security were complicit, as this witness account suggests, they would *not* allow a “witness” who confronted them to escape alive, much less spout off on National TV a few moments later. So this SCREAMS diversion.
2-
If it unfolded exactly as the witness describes, then security obviously did *not* see the “threat” as he saw it. There is very likely another shooter somewhere else we aren’t hearing about.

The first shots are heard and the sniper reacts to them by flinching and pulling his tripod backwards, and his rifle is then not really pointed at or settled smoothly on the target.
He does not come off as a skilled military trained sniper to me, going by his composure or lack thereof.

I was in law enforcement for 43 years. I have worked with the Secret Service; on the Presidential detail. Both advanced planning and actual security for the President. This was in the late 1990s. The Secret Service agents were good and I was part of what I felt was thorough protection and security. However, when it comes to down dirty and dirty law enforcement, give me a good beat cop. The video I’ve seen of this incident makes me wonder just what kind of training this agent got. i suspect a good dose of Wokeism was on the curriculum.
Dan Bongino, an ex-Secret Service agent weighed in on this shooting, and stated that the Secret Service protection was a complete FAILURE. I would agree and say it was more like a joke. The current Secret Service Director, Kimberly Cheatle, is a political appointment and a complete piece of shit. She has denied much needed additional security for Trump. I am not an expert at counter sniping, just a mediocre hunter. What I would have expected to see is the CA marksman in the foreground lean into the rifle and take the shot. He wouldn’t have come off the scope and he’d have cycled the bolt, regained the site picture, and fired again if there was any movement/threat. When I look at the video I see a passive reaction. Why? This is where I just don’t know anything about protocol. But the marksman got off 8-9 shots, in two volleys. It went from targeted assassination and a miss to mass shooting extinction event.
